Germany here as well, Model 3 LR Highland 2023. German works well and Grok addressed me in German at first. I prefer English though because it is the preferred language between my wife and me. I noticed that you can address Grok in either language without changing the settings.

Germany, 2022 Model Y LR Automatically recognizes language, so you can talk to it in German or English and it adapts. Sometimes it needs a follow-up after the first prompt because it uses English by default. E.g. it misinterprets "wie gehts dir?" as an English sentence. But after the course correction, it's smooth sailing. Functionality is quite limited. It can navigate and tell you about nearby stores, doctors etc. via Google Maps, also search the Tesla handbook and answer questions. In addition it can pull X latest news, your own profile comments & posts, but it can't post directly, only read. "Gork" persona is really fun in English but sounds like an idiot in German and is not helpful at all. Constantly tries to mess with you.
