Approval. 😝 Elon doesn’t follow laws and regulations meant for the peons.
They're a tech company, not a car company. Tech motto is to move fast and break things. They don't have time for silly things like permits. (/s if it wasn't obvious)
How do you say “poop emoji” in Australian?
Do you mean that borrie doobalackie, mate?
Elon spits in the face of authority\*. \*Chicoms excluded
>If the car had gone out of control in close proximity to those people, the driver would have had *almost no chance of intervening quickly enough* to prevent a major tragedy. Note that even if you are expecting an event (eg braking for a person who steps out in front of you) to happen; you will still take around ½ a second to process the information and react. At 60 kmh you travel about 16.2 metres before reacting. My guess is that with hands off, it's probably 1.5 to 2.5 seconds.
Shitey face mate
Qld government said that the test conducted in Brisbane didn't require a permit but will probably find the drivers and fine them as it's a requirement here to maintain at least one hand on the wheel at any given time. So fsd will never come to Australia. Thank fuck for that
I disagree with what it's called. It's designed to be deceptive and I don't get it. What is the point of this feature if you have to supervise it? If anything it's much more likely to be a tiring experience by being on the alert for something going wrong and possibly costing you reaction time seconds than just driving the vehicle itself. I also predict that while drivers may first practice a supervisory role, I can also see them falsely trusting the FSD system over time and grow lax. Any entity that rubber stamps this is also asking to be named first in lawsuits. Tesla will definitely throw anyone under the bus .
