NHTSA counts all deaths as deaths. Tesla only counts it as a death if the individual had a net worth higher than $5M. They'll have to fight it out in the Supreme court as to how much a human being must be worth to be considered a human being.

In Ontario when a collision occurs you can tick the box when you fill out the collision report if self-driving was activated.
But what if you don't click the box, does the "self-driving" collision then go unreported? Tesla only reports incidents that fall under certain criteria, and honestly who checks that every incident is being fully reported? It could be that incidents are not being reported by Tesla, the driver, or others.
