Question is, how do you make your own? EDIT: Create a folder named "wraps" on your thumb drive and place a 1024x1024 png on it. Use a template.

Yeah, I'm so confused. Even Intel cars get it. So essentially if you bought a used 2017 Model 3 for 12k you'll get this feature, but if you bought a brand new 2026 Model S Plaid for 120k you won't. Not that it's anything important, but weird that it's even added to old cars, but not the brand new most premium cars. Kinda bummed coz I was looking forward to it in my Plaid, but hey at least I have it in my 3 that I don't drive much lol

They enabled it for 3 and Y because they already had it partially implemented for the Cybertruck (custom wraps) and the Chinese market (license plates). Model S and X on the other hand in the same update got the new, next-gen car visualization, and they just probably didn’t have the time to implement wraps for it. I bet S/X will get wraps support in the next few updates.

Made this website for it: https://tesla-wrap.mrproper.dev/ it allows you to create wraps, currently working on the precies functionality. But have to align the 3D models first with the texture. For now only model 3 Highland is aligned. Takes some time doing so

It’s too bad they aren’t actually adding some more colorful paint choices for new cars.

What is really nuts is why they are wasting their time on bling/paint shop instead of of adding real automotive related functionality? For example Birds-eye-view parking.

Not quite the same but almost. I use it and I like it but I’ve had some errors in parking lots. Specifically, the vision had me about to hit a pole that was really 3 ft away. I had to get out and look before moving forward. There is no excuse to not having this. Better yet make it easy to put a front cam on every model for about $100.

People have parked for decades without cameras. Just learn how to park dude.

I know how to park dude. In most cars I can see the front of the car (the hood). The Tesla is so aerodynamic that the front end of the car is NOT visible (for me). That makes estimating where the front bumper (if it had one) is. So That is why a a working reliable parking assistant is morre important on a Tesla than on virtualy every other car on the market. The High Fidelity parking assist is not 100% reliable. Dude.

It seems like that would be one of the easier things to program in to the update. Quite odd.

Where are you getting these 3d models? We need these You can't make textures from 2d. you need texture painting software because the UVs are not good

Paint Shop is a waste independent of seat setting.
