How long has the S been $100k, I thought it had dropped down to $80k
They have increased the price several times recently. Possibly the worst deal in automotive at the current price.
As a Model S owner, fully agree. It’s much nicer than my previous Model 3, but it’s absolutely not $50k nicer. Tesla seems to have given up on trying to innovate and sell the high end models, with no idea what to do with them.
Same here and agree.
Two years ago I bought a new model S for $75k.
Yep, they have been boring since the original Model3 except for the Cybertruck miss
They are selling these to people who are price agonistic. Rich people who do not care to pay more. This is the way to make profits.
It was down to $72k pre fees and tax for a brand new Model S at one point.
You can get last years X for 78 right now with a free upgrade and a year free charging.
Who’s going to spend 115k on a car?
They seem to love doing this bare, minimalist thing for some reason. I get it’s their brand but why would anyone spend a 100k when you can get something much nicer, like a BMW EV
The base model was $85k a week or so ago
The site doesn’t make it clear how much more did they up the price for this package?
Hundreds of thousands of Americans.
Forced full self driving. You can’t buy the S without it anymore. Bold move. Glad I paid $87k for my plaid in April of 2024.
Yes but price agnostic people don’t need to restrict themselves to Tesla anymore. There’s Porsche, BMV, Mercedes EVs now. Tesla only made sense for the tech enthusiast person who was looking for great value for money (great range, amazing acceleration, good software, etc).
Hyperbole lol. There’s plenty of cars in the luxury category at worse value.
Sad thing is, the S is still very competitive in full size car EVs. Others like Porsche and Audi may be built better but they are super expensive for what you get (incl depreciation.) You’d have to be insane to buy a new one
I think a pretty simple thing would be leather trim and seats. I hate how easy it is to get things dirty in the car.
$10k
[deleted]
I’d like for it to go back to the meme price of $69,420
remind me which porsche you need to by to beat model s plaid acceleration? and how much it costs? worst deal haha.
I guess it’s not a horrible deal depending on how much one uses supercharger.
This is a new name/option/price package for stuff that was already available for the S and X. I was mildly excited that this was some sort of physical upgrade like nicer interior.
X is $100k, S is $95k. Still a lot!
FSD
Dude if you are hanging out on a Tesla subreddit, you are a tech enthusiast. I wasn’t talking about you. You will appreciate the way superior tech experience that Tesla offers. But there are plenty of rich people who are not tech enthusiasts who will buy any other luxury EV at that price range especially now that Elon has destroyed any good vibes around the Tesla brand.
I wish I could have it forced upon me instead of having to pay $99 a month lol
Rich people
My take is they likely think the only people buying the S right now are people who WANT the S or a Tesla, and thus they should extract as much as possible from that small audience.
as a german I would love to upgrade my 3 to a Plaid just because of the speed.
I just sold my 2023 MS Plaid for $60k. Do yourself a favor and buy used, depreciation hits hard.
Both S & X price has increased by $10k and includes ( mandatory) FSD, free SC etc. https://x.com/SawyerMerritt/status/1956581647282852226
Still overpriced
Drive a Taycan GTS. Great driving experience
What a weird thing to say to a guy who meets the criteria you laid out perfectly. I own a Tesla and I’m not a tech enthusiast. I simply wanted the fastest four door car I could get within my price range.
Looks like the Luxe package isn't optional, so maybe that's how they justified the increase. FSD, maintenance + wheel, tire, and windshield protection, unlimited super charging, premium connectivity.
> new S is the worst deal around And ironically, used Ss are the best deal around. Their resale is tanked, but they remain very nice cars. You can get a 2022 model (basically the current gen) for $40k.
Why’d you sell? I’m wondering what car comes next after that.
> mildly excited Ha, ya, I clicked here not because I have any ambition to get a new S, but I would have mildly liked to have thought “huh, that’s interesting, different seats.” But nope, just a new button on the website for the same old stuff.
Lmao if it helps you can just force yourself to put 80 months of payment in an account now, or whatever the math is
Not saying Tesla is perfect but the Porsche/audi EVs got some serious reliability problems. I looked into them as I was interested in the taycan/macan/q6 for a while and the vast number of issues I read is concerning.
Price agnostic people are a myth. The only people who don’t give a shit are the people spending someone else’s money. The wealthy person made that money by being cutthroat or ambitious in some business venture and wants to know that they’re getting something of value for their money. Extra $10k for ludicrous mode to make your suv have 2.3s acceleration? Yeah that’s worth it for some. FSD and unlimited supercharging not so much.
Price agnostic people don’t give a shit about Elon’s crazy push to the right. They probably voted for trump to lower taxes.
a newer plaid, tbh
Kinda crazy the lucid gravity GT starts at less than a model X now
Right. The S & X just look like bad deals because of how insanely good deals the 3 and Y are in comparison. But in reality, the S and X are fantastic deals. I paid ~$95k in 2012 for an S 85. You get SO MUCH more car today. And I paid ~130k for my long range X in 2021. It's so much cheaper today.
The link above says the S is $99,990 ::edit:: I was wrong, was looking at the X
Yep.
So ridiculous. Outdated models without significant upgrades. Tesla really needs to step their game up with these cars.
They don't let you take off the Luxe package. So this is FSD, and "free" super charging included with the price.
I feel like the X is a care someone should lease, every older X I’ve ever been in squeaks and sounds like dog shit.
I’d love to lease but not at 12 percent interest.
[deleted]
The link above takes you to the Model X.
Yea; it’s so ridiculous now. They are just milking people to the last drop. Raining price by 10-15K when you could had all that for a much lower price a few months ago. Free supercharging sounds and feels more than what it really is. What’s the cost of charging the car? $1000-2000 a year? I guess you can make it back in 8+ years…
wow, wish there was that kind of deals in my country
Just get a lucid air / gravity at this point. Tesla is a 3/Y company.
Try a lucid or a Rivian
130k?? Jesus I paid $68,500 for my 2023 MX after credits and inventory discount.
It was actually over $140k out the door because I also got FSD for $10k. My wife complained about the kids fighting/annoying each other (3 car seats in a row) in the Model S, so a 6 seat X was really the only viable option. Ordered it in 2021. Took delivery at the end of 2022. Price dropped dramatically just a few months later. Oh well. I've made life changing money on TSLA so it's just my way of giving a little back, I guess.
Lol... I just went to buy a new model Y... They did a 10k price cut here in Europe at the moment. Unpassable deal. And for the trade-in tesla offered around 10k for a fully loaded Model S 75D from 2017. I paid 100k for it 8 years ago. Let that sink in. But on the private market I see similar asking 20k or thereabouts. Still hurts.
They should be cheaper than an X. They have garbage software. Good vehicle otherwise though.
Sadly not in Canada *makes sad Canadian noises*
Good one
That’s about what it’s worth tbh
I largely agree, but in my experience (some) children of those wealthy people can be close to being price agnostic, especially as young adults.
I test drove a lucid last year. Same unimpressive software experience. The lag might have been the worst of the group. I wasn’t a fan. It was a nice vehicle from an interior perspective, I just couldn’t get past the software. I also tried an ex90 and that was the best of the bunch in my opinion, I’ll give the inevitable sedan a shot once it arrives.
Thinking of doing the same.
Surprised they haven't done this across the lineup. At this point FSD means nothing to me, I might pay a few hundred for it but wouldn't pay anything like $8k until I can take a nap. If it were in all Teslas though, it might push me away from a competing vehicle. Since the cost is mostly development, it wouldn't cost much to just add it to all new cars. Also, the extra training data would help Tesla get back in the lead.
I agree. Was thinking about a new 3 with the tax break but the 2022 S for the same price is just so much more car
So basically this gives you every improvement as standard. Makes pricing straightforward, but still seems overpriced. Will love seeing these in the used market though in a few years, because finding FSD included cars is an absolute pain, because dealers don’t know that capability does not include it already paid for.
Both are great values financially, no question. The issue is just whether you are ok ignoring the obvious reason that the demand side of the supply/demand balance is so skewed. If Teslas were still aspirational and desireable vehicles like they used to be, we wouldn’t be seeing these prices. It’s a catch-22.
Agreed. I would pay $25 a month maximum.
Nobody else offers point-to-point click to chauffeur as FSD does.
Yes no one else has anything close to FSD but FSD itself isn’t that useful. I have it and it’s fun to see technology progress but it’s not useful to me as long as it has to be supervised. It’s more stressful to watch it diligently than to just drive. I only use it on less busy freeways where I can trust it fully.
Uhh how much do they want for an X now? lmao
is that why sales are hurting? lmao cause that is NOT a great strategy at this point
Price agnostic people are not wasting their time in this subreddit. Let's be real.
Electric vehicle resale value is shit tier. People don't have faith in used EVs like they do used toyotas.
My wife's MXP is awesome, but im never putting it in drag strip mode, or gunning it off the line. Hell, I drive it in chill mode. Yeah the speed is cool for a couple months, but that's not how most people drive. It also drives like a boat with wheels.
2022 is HW3, isn't it? Not HW4.
What was your impression of the ride comfort and road noise in the non-Teslas?
Wait, what happened to the yoke? Only the full wheel offered now?
They’re German luxury cars, it’s not surprising honestly.
Guessing this mandatory Luxe option is not discounted if you wanted to transfer FSD (which is a current incentive offer).
"How can we sell even fewer S/X?" -- guy at Tesla behind this mandatory Luxe package.
Yes. HW4 started in 2023.
I wouldn't view the new S as in getting a deal. It should be a more like the luxury version of the 3. You don't buy it to save money. It's not the car for me, but I do think it looks a bit better than the 3.
From the factory, the yoke is now for the Plaid only. After you take delivery you can order it as an upgrade through the app for US$1100 for Plaid or non-Plaid.
That sucks. I hated the yoke for the first year of my 2022 MX, but now I wouldn't want to go back to the round wheel that covers my view. Not sure I'd be thrilled to pay extra for it.
I sold mine after taking a $100k hit on it. Bought 144k in 2021. Sold for 42k. 50k miles. Been having problems with it but Tesla kept gaslighting me. When I ran out of warranty, decided to sell it before i lose even more money. Bought a BMW M3. Way happier
I want a real refresh and premium materials. This is so gimmicky and Jurassic. Give me innovation for 100k
Wait, I can’t get the overpriced 89k version now? 100 for the base model is bonkers. I have no use for supercharging and only want dad as an optional sub. Wow
god dam
They apparently thought this was appreciated by the consumer, when it was just tolerated given the overwhelming performance advantage. I come to this thread thinking maybe they finally have woken up.... Nope.
I got mine at that price, hard to see the value at the current price.
Damn that’s gotta be one of the lowest sales prices I’ve seen so far. Honestly crazy for a 1000hp car to be selling for this cheap
Yes but only Tesla has FSD at the moment and I do think it’s a very nice feature to have even if there are cars with nicer interiors or better handling
Yeah that's how/why im trying to get a Model S.
6 figures without even being plaid… they’ve lost their goddamn minds.
For the amount of times I’ve had to replace tires on my paid. This is a good deal.
As the owner of a 2022 Model X, I would absolutely not consider another one, especially not at these higher prices; my next vehicle will be a Lucid Gravity or BMW iX60. No, neither has software that is an improvement over Tesla, but both Lucid and BMW build better vehicles overall.
Which is a deterrent to someone with a HW3 car with FSD. Using the transfer was a reason to buy new. They just removed that reason. I would love free supercharging, but it’s not worth the extra $10k to me.
I’d use the shit out of it if I paid $10k extra for it
These price hikes are nuts. I got my 2023 MS AWD for the $69,420
Same thing happened to me. Will never buy another Tesla
is it though. 700hp+? porsche was selling or saying they were going to sell taycans at like 80k to compete with s at 69k at one point. the pos are now like 140k for a dorky 500hp 300 mile range ev
how do you hit so many damn potholes?
because it doesnt have 1000hp....huh?
and....why did you sell a 2 year old 1000hp car..... why not lease it. what on earth did it do to displease you so thank you sir :)
literally a different 99% similar bumper and possibly headlights? nothings changed
Not potholes. The utter force from torque sheers the tread particularly rear tires in plaid mode.
The best explanation is to grab a handful of uncooked spaghetti noodles and twist suddenly with force by a placing hands on each end of the bundle. Best way to describe the phenomenon.
Maybe nicer interior but likely Tesla beat on everything else. I believed all the nonsense. Got my wife a Cadillac lyriq. Love the massaging seats and nicer interior. Love being able to say hey Google. The rest is highly inferior to Tesla.
my god these people do exist. so you swapped the 1000hp car. for a dorky bmw m3?
lmao please sir tell us more how tesla was able to find people of this caliber truly amazing they feel no shame despite being so laughably dumb pays 150k for a 95k car. whines.... shame!!!!!
AmBiEnT LiGhTiNg!
Lease wasn’t available in my state at the time (it is now though). I bought it used for $80k so I didn’t lose much more than a lease would have been. At least I know now that the Plaid is a beast and I am not worthy lol.
losers dont care man thats the joke NOBODY WANTSSSSSS a 1000hp car they think they do, they buy it, they drive it, they go home and cry cuz scared i was telling my friend how many 1000hp even exist? dodge demon pos with less power at wheels a bit lighter, comparable sure 150k pricing and clearly a drag car and has 1 seat ffs? red key, etc etc etc zo6/zr1 corvettes (adjusted for weight/hp ratio) 100,000$+? only since 2015 a few thousand-10,000 units? old men keeping them in garages going nowhere ferrari super cars and then built custom corvettes etc nothing comes close to this, its a sleeper model s, for 50k, that has 1000hp to the weeeeeelz that gives 0 indication of wtf it actually is its 4 years old now what the FF would they even update 1300hp? just going to get more silly doctors wrapped around trees its the bonanza docter offer v tail of the car world
bros will buy this, get scared, then go pay 50k more for a purple nurple pos porsche taycan with quilted seats like theyre going on a picnic or something dumb af hell you can throw 10ft lumber int he thing and then gun it 0-60 in 2 seconds ask me how i know when my customers need their electrical supplies asap only the plaid will do
you bought the last year of a the model s before it got fsd...yeah no thanks tbh i can get 25k for my 130k mile model s so not complaining too bad porsche panamera/audi s7 wouldve been broken to shit by now and guzzled 25k of gas not worth much more i doubt so not a bad deal for what it is
bro most people with 100k to toss on a sedan are probably frankly afraid of 1000hp....and for good reason dorky suburban karen ladies buy these and then put it in chill mode lmao
why do so many morons say this lmao bro......chevy wants 15$/mo for their APPPPPPPP netflix is 30/mo and you will only pay 25/mo for your car to chaufer you
I clicked too because I thought they are finally giving us a luxury interior. Wrong
FSD is the reason I have an X and and S.. If lucid could reach tesla levels for FSD I'd be gone.
good luck, at .15$/kwh full charge 15$ and takes an hour youre earning minimum wage brother
they still use the same 2013 cell architecture right? bonkers if true other than hp its just another car tbh, not sure what else people want it to be price is kidna wonky when the thing was 69420 like 3 years ago meh, but if you think teslas are expensvie wait till you price a purple nurple taycan
whats left..... another 300hp? adaptive headlights lmao leather seats eh.....is that really where we are? short of fsd the 2014/2017 refresh model s with "fsd capability" was probably the last significant wild update youd really think of in cars before fsd came out its a car, with a big screen, that drives itself whats left, every other mfg just keeps making as wide a screen as possible, chevy has finished that trench with a dorky 6x72" screen >> ffs across entire front of car leather seats yawn acoustic tech is kinda neat in the pads they attache to panels to dampen sound, but its the kinda thing you just buy and apply, can put it on a civic if you wanted to battery tech just range and power and nobody wants more power at this point, its 4 years old and terrifying still nothing else on the market similar besides a 200k porsche taycan "turbo wtf even" and a lucid air add another 500hp why not at this point
ah yes that time tesla had its record lowest prices before morons started paying 100k during covid like 1 year later its a 85k car give or take in todays dollaroos 70k was stupidly cheap 100k is laughable
my god......so another moron bought it and sold it within a year, like bro.... tesla sold the p85 for 100k the p90 for like 100k battery getting cheaper all the time everyone KNEW this want worth 150k why was anyone surprised here?
oh yeah i forgot about that, are all the stupid millenials enjoying the rgb car lights now? can we please stop ffs? "sending positive thoughst and vibes from my 256:0:256 interior lighting model s with fsd veriosn 1.5.2.xk.5.2.2
oh damn, lovely, also the soft rubber doesnt help and what on earth do people want them to do.....take it to like 1400hp after a 4yr refresh ffs, the karens are already scared no matter how much power its not going to outrun its devaluation lmao. we gonna have 16yr olds in these in the next 10 years rip
$20k jump in just a few months for the base I would have expected more. Not completely innovative but something new - hw5, 800v, better seats/materials, paint options included, longer warranty, range for a dated vehicle. A true style refresh would also have been nice. I’m just frustrated bc I was coming to terms with the new base price and this is just another 10 for two items I don’t need. The y is too small.
Hopefully soon! I expect someone to catch up to current FSD within 3-4 years
Above a certain HP or pricepoint, people are likely to prioritize comfort and QoL features than just vroom and speed. If I'm dropping 90k on a Model S (I'm not...), then I want it to check most of the boxes....not just the performance ones. 70-75k is much more reasonable given the lack of "innovation" they'd done with the platform since its release. Obv they're focused on the higher volume ones and robotaxi at the moment, so cranking up the margins on the already-low-volume platforms might be a business choice?
Seems pretty nice, how much would it cost for an S?
Correct. It’s actually pretty simply why people say this. It’s all about how much they value a feature. I enjoy driving myself, so I value the feature much less. My wife would probably pay $8,000 a month for it though.
The math is a bit different here. I have solar and net metering at home, but using power from the grid is $0.32/kWh. Charging 10%-80% takes approximately 30 minutes. So I generate $22.4 of electricity credit every 30 minutes, or ~$45/hr. Since I have a heat pump at home along with a natural gas furnace, this credit can be used to heat my house in the winter before using the gas furnace or to cool it in the summer. $45/hr and increased comfort at home is a much more attractive option.
The Taycan is worthless the day you buy it. The resale is crazy bad, just buy a used one they are cheap. They have multiple issues as well.
Such an awful deal. Lease it for $1500 a month (with $7500 down!) or buy it for $95k only for it to be worth $50k in two years.
Huh? You think a private equity partner that makes risky bets for a living doesn’t like driving fast and feeling the intense acceleration? Dorky karens are driving Lexus
Maybe a regional thing. We just completed a 4200mi cross country trip (US and Canada) where mainly FSD drove. Physically, only driving in parking lots to find a spot, then autopark. Much less stress.
It’s hard to believe they’re thinking people would be interested in that vehicle at that price. $100k is a lot of money.
The Plaid was 88k not too long ago
When sells are down everywhere in the world and money is tight for people the best thing to do is slap 10k extra on the price lol.
They couldn’t even sell demo plaids that were marked down to 86k with free supercharging last year. This price increase is nuts.
I agree BUT the price is too high for the added luxury. You are moving into a price range other EV become more an option, in my humble opinion. I am leasing a 2023 Model S and love it
Personally until FSD it tied to the owner/ leasee it has little value to me. I prefer to lease the car and I would buy FSD at full price it stay with me. FSD in my area is still not great. Navigation routing is blah at best. Still a lot of meh moments with it.
It’s better at $42069
nah bruh. the carrot tops think they do then they wrap around a tree at 150 lmao dont you remember teh two doctors/surgeons who make it like 300 feet out of their driveway in a straight line into a tree and burned to death and one was in the backseat somehow old people do dumb shit too
except....you dont drive time, time to park plug in leave good luck with that 30 mins chief /enjoying 70% of your battery >> yeah its like 15$/hr in reality and the car devalues what 30 cents a mile? gotta factor that in too its a joke more or less for anything but a faster charging base model s that some retired dude plans to throw 100,000s of miles on
I pass two superchargers a day on my regular commute. There’s no extra drive time. Depreciation of the vehicle has absolutely nothing to do with the free supercharging worth.
People keep asking if I’m gonna get another Tesla as my next car. I told them a used tesla because buying new doesnt make sense
yes....there is man. charge at home vs sit at a supercharge for 30 mins its min wage.... so sure on those days theres no extra mileage... but youre still makin min wage lmao and thats if you value it at .15 and not like .13 or .05 if you have solar at home its just jnot worth it. from someone who literally has it and solar
94k for the model s in its current form is a fucking joke. And that’s coming from someone who thinks it’s the best car I’ve ever owned.
This. You buy the S/X because it is the biggest car that can drive itself. Anyone who compares the S/X to any other car does not understand the different experience FSD brings to the table. Would you buy a car with a Manual transmition? Why not? The answer you give yoursel to why you prefer automatic is exactly what FSD is compared to a regular car.
[https://www.tesla.com/support/tire-protection-plan](https://www.tesla.com/support/tire-protection-plan) This only covers damage by road hazards. Has a $25 deductible.
Too expensive and don’t forget you have to kiss the credit goodbye. They are going to sell even less. Remember the model S was in the 70s not too long ago
Yeah. That def changes the narrative.
Model -X just needs to be discontinued. Outdated design, 3rd seat is for a pets only. I really hope they make a real SUV with a proper 3rd row seat. Wasted opportunity with Cyber Truck R&D.
Eh demo the lucid, it’s an American made vehicle where do you think all the extra quality could possibly come from.
People buy cars for more than acceleration. Porsche fit and finish blows Tesla out of the water. And I say this as a guy who loves his Model 3.
It's because perceived value is subjective, bro...
Musk pulled the [Model S price to $69,420](https://www.teslaoracle.com/2020/10/14/tesla-model-s-price-drop-lucid-air-reveal-69k/) to give tough time to Lucid. It was back in 2020.
$69420 was 2020 pricing to liquidate the legacy (Raven) Model S. Some people were lucky enough to order at that price and get a 2021 refreshed (Palladium) Model S. But they were never that cheap in 2023. Ref: https://skills.ai/tesla-car-prices-analysis/
I see several hardware improvements Tesla could make to Model S. In no particular order: -Massaging seats -Electrochromic roof glass -Power doors (like Model X) or even just soft-close doors -outlets in the car, trunk, and/or frunk -power frunk -HUD -800V charging -Bidirectional charging (V2H or V2V) Plus actually smart wipers would be cool.
its nice not having wait to be in the right gear to pass someone on the hwy, had an F82 before and sorta regret the change but good lord the trunk space is so nice for costco runs in my MYP
its still not even worth 95k lmao
i mean......historically p85 p85+ p90 p100 p100D all went for a premium then tanked like mad to their real values.....and youre shocked when it happened the 6th? time? during covid? ffs say it with me lmao cars arent investments porsches are like birken bags for dorky dudes, theyre artificially kept low and arent worth that either, just people who dont want to wait for an allotment overpaying
No it doesn’t: What's Covered Tire repairs and replacement of tires or wheels damaged by road hazards.
You literally posted what I said, but from Tesla lol
You forgot the part mentioning tire repairs outside of road hazards. Big difference
Not sure why you’d interpret “tire repair and replacement of tires due to road hazards” as “tire repair. And, replacement of tires due to road hazards.” But this makes it clearer that it only covers repair due to road hazards. https://www.tesla.com/support/tire-protection-plan
Yeah. In my mind nails and glass fell outside of common road hazard. Think we are saying the same thing in that this is covered.
Nails and glass are firmly within road hazards. Repairs are free. Replacement is $25
Until you sell or trade it. The FSD doesn't transfer but stays with the original owner for the life of the car. My old 2012 Model S has free lifetime supercharging no matter who owns her. These benefits are being watered down and forced upon people. I don't think that was a great idea.
Ive never heard anyone use the term " fully loaded" Tesla before. Interesting.
They let you transfer FSD to a new Tesla. It's not always an option, but right now it is an option. But I'm a little confused by your commment. I'm talking about the LUXE package. The S and X Plaid only come with the LUXE package right now.
Some habits stick... Panoramic roof, turbine wheels 22", obsidian black, fsd, supercharger free for life, premium connectivity, all weather mats, etc... Only thing I didn't have was air suspension. And that was such a miss... It hindered my use of the car more times than I thought it would.
Pay a little more for cars built after Q2 2023 to get HW4.
Not unlimited supercharging. The package has free supercharging for the ownership limit of the original buyer only. My old Model S has free unlimited supercharging. That means that the supercharging stays with the car, regardless of owner.
Lucid.
This is the price I bought it at. IMO, this is feels like the correct price.
No other EV in its price segment is better than a Model S. Heck, even EVs $50k more than the Model S aren't as good as the Model S.
I think it is worth the extra cost. The Model S is much nicer than a 3.
That is not a small audience.
Because the Model S is better than every BMW EV...
I appreciate the Luxe package very much so.
Tesla owners will soon be able to say, "Hey Grok"
There is a lot under the surface that has changed.
Yes it is.
Idk if I agree and as I said I am leasing a 2023 Model S. I love the car but at $95 K I am not sure it’s has that value. I have 6 mo to decide if I stay with Tesla or try another EV. I am likely to drop back to a Model 3 LR AWD or performance. I am not sure the S is worth 40k more
