There are an awful lot of guesses going on here so I think to be fair folks should be aware that these do not appear to be Cybertruck or Model Y castings. Beyond that, everything else is pure speculation. Perhaps they’ll share more on the quarterly call tomorrow.
I'm going to assume we're going to find out what Tesla is working on releasing within the next 1-6 months
They are marked as "RTTX" (Robotaxi Texas) Cybertruck castings are marked as "CTTX" (Cybertruck Texas) Don't think there's much to speculate
This is exciting. Cybercab production implies proximity to unsupervised FSD.
Great, I’m excited regardless! But I’ve also learned to take these sorts of spottings with a heaping of salt as there have been plenty of occasions over the years where speculation has run rampant to then amount to very little.

You should short Tesla, smart guy.
Would it be possible to add pedals and steering wheel to a version of the cybercab body?
Willing to go out on a limb and say they will sell these with a steering wheel for an extra 2-4K
Has there been any recent filings with the NHTSA by Tesla?
With HW5.
And hopefully with free retrofitting.
They'll go through some kind of process of downsizing the model and seeing what runs and what they need to do to avoid having legacy FSD owners not sue the shit out of them. Maybe HW4 cars will need more compute but the cameras are OK. Who knows. HW3 people can probably be bribed with discounts on new cars since there have been a lot of improvements.
Hope to hear more on the earnings call
Predicted timeline announcement: before the end of this year.
What improvements would make me want a new Tesla?
I can be bribed with money. I don’t want a new car.
Then you'll hold out for an upgrade. They're not just going to buy people off with a literal check. Do you even have FSD? Because that's the people it affects. People who paid the thousands for FSD, not even the subscribers.
I do indeed. They can upgrade me or give me money and I stick with HW3.
There is no evidence that HW4 doesn't have enough compute for unsupervised FSD. That may be the case, but anybody saying so is literally just guessing. The rate of improvement on HW4 in the past 12 months has been absolutely astounding, and there's no sign of that stopping any time soon. As much as it feels crazy for me to say, we are actually getting close.
Every update for my hw4 MY in the last 12 months has been a net regression. And it’s not the computer that’s the issue.
tsla investor detected
There is always room to speculate. "Redwood" is the code name for the next gen vehicle. The casting could be "Redwood Trial Texas." Robotaxi may refer to all models of Tesla used in that role, Cybercab is the 2 seat vehicle.
There is absolutely no way you think v13 is worse than v11. v13 is so vastly better, it's insane.

Roadster Texas. (a man can dream)
Doubtful. It's likely to pump the stock
As an investor, I wish tesla wouldn't reinvent the wheel for EVERY new product. Prove FSD on a 2020 model Y, get that working then iterate on a dedicated platform. Make a good cheap pickup, then the Kanye/wedge/truck :D
