Tesla Model S Wheel Alignment in Bay Area

I live in Bay Area. I have freshly changed to a new set of tires on my 2021 Refresh Model S. The first set of tires went 40K miles (4.5 years). I have never done alignment before, and due to staggered setup tire rotation was also not advisable, so I didn't do any tire rotation. The technician said there is a little, barely visible extra wear on the inside edge of the rear tires, due to negative camber. I am okay with the negative camber since the wear on the rear tires are barely visible. For the front tires, the outside edges seem to had higher wear. He said that alignment would help. I have option to do alignment from local stores, or just go to Tesla service center. Service center appointment is 2 weeks away, and I am okay taking that. Does anyone have good / bad experience of Tesla service center for alignment? I am also looking for recommendations for local alignment shops.

I had trouble finding an alignment shop that would take my Model S due to the air suspension as their main issue to reject the job. I ended up also waiting weeks for Tesla service alignment and was happy.

It shouldn’t take weeks for them to set up an alignment, but I would recommend only doing it through Tesla. Places that say they can perform an alignment end up telling me well they can only adjust certain things due to the autopilot. (discount tire I’m looking at you.)

I don't have a recommendation for you on where to go but I got some new tires put on at a local shop (SoCal) and they offered a lifetime free tire rotation service that I purchased. I just call them, make an appointment, drop it off for 30 minutes and voila, rotated tires and they fill them up with air while they're at it.
