Thoughts on having model S now

Hey, I recently purchased model Y premium awd and I liked it. After I heard the news that model S and X production will be ended soon, I was skeptical to have a lease or do finance for new model s or x. Some people said that this is the best time to do it and some said wait for few months or get bmw ix. What do you guys think?

We have both model X and BMW IX. The BMW IX is a great car. Worst depreciated car we ever bought. I recommend buying one used. But the model X is a world ahead in technology. I like technology and would pick the Model x over the BMW any day. But if technology and FSD is not a big deal to you than I would get the BMW. The only thing better on the BMW is the suspension.

I would buy a new S if I didn't already have a 2023 S. I'll just use it until it dies, unless there is a compelling replacement in several years.

my plan is to get a used S when my model 3 lease expires in a year.. no need to get a new one right now.
