That’s the Tesla cybercab. Teslas answer to Waymo. They just started appearing in Chicago around the Autoshow.
That is a Tesla Robotaxi. He likely was not driving.
Cybercab. And they don't drive themselves, yet.

I'm very interested to know how you identified it as a Tesla, OP! You seem to have not seen a Cybercab before, and it doesn't have the Tesla logo on front nor back. What gave it away?
He was in the seat 😭 did he just auto pilot the whole way? I thought the waymo cars were white 4 doors. It was a tan colored two door with a white guy driving.
Definitely gives 2026 model 3 , or Y by the headlights.. only difference is taillights look similar to a 2026 Prius. Front is definitely a smaller tesla

A prototype Tesla Cybercab.
I’m always surprised when people don’t know what these cars are. We own two Teslas and my wife didn’t even know what the cybercab was when I showed her a picture.
I seen it coming but my light turned green. So I only caught a glimpse of the headlights and taillights
I wasn’t saying it to be mean—hope it didn’t come across that way. I was just surprised when my wife didn’t know what it was. We talk about EVs all the time but she doesn’t follow any EV news. We live in Alaska and Tesla does their winter testing here, and I showed her a picture of the Cybercabs being delivered here for winter testing and she had no idea what they were. I haven’t gotten to see one in person. Just pictures. I wish they were going to sell them with steering wheels and pedals. I think they’d sell.
Waymo and Tesla are different companies. Yes, the Waymo is a white car. The Tesla Robotaxi is not gonna look like a Waymo.

This is from the Robotaxi tracker app, there is also a website! The creator was actually hired to because the Tesla team saw how good the app is
