Tesla math don't add up

So I recently went on a roadtrip for the first time in my new Model 3 Premium LR RWD. side note we enjoyed every bit of it! but before going I charged to 100% because I wanted to reach our first destination with 0 charging stops. the photo was taken the night before we left. the car said I had 617 km of range. destination was 532 km away. but state of charge on arrival is -10%. if I indeed arrive with -10% battery, shouldn't the car show I have a range less than 532km? I ended up reaching the destination with about 3% battery remaining. also, I use % instead of kilometers always. just thought this was interestingly odd. also also, you might see some weird characters thats not because this image is AI. I used magic eraser to erase all traces of location info. there was some spillover to other characters. observations I made during the trip - 30 minutes into the trip the predicted arrival SOC was -8%. one and a half hours into the trip predicted SOC was -12%. and from there the arrival SOC slowly started going up we arrived at 3% SOC.

Range shown is EPA range. So it's calculated at 60km/h with no ac or something like that. It's not real life.

Switch your display to % not km.

Temp changes probably.

Never has, never will.

If you think about what the distance shown on the battery actually means it make sense. To go from a battery capacity to distance you need to take into account efficiency. The efficiency on the battery meter is a static value, the efficiency value on the trip planner is dynamic and takes into account temp, wind, etc.

If that is the case then shouldn't the car show arrival state of charge much higher than -10%?
