What version are you on? Mine definitely tracks my eyes at night. It can’t when I have sunglasses on during the day. I’m sticking with 14.2.2.4 even though .5 is pending because of some negative reviews.

There seems to be an optimum height. I've noticed more nags for too tall or too short.

Nags are down, at least for 2.2.4, but if you watch the center display for a while it does nag.

Mine does. I was on a really dark road and FSD was giving me warnings that it was going to turn off because it couldn’t see my face. I had to either drive manually or turn on the dome light.

Mine is extra sensitive at reading eyes at night. Every version since v13 to [14.2.2.5](http://14.2.2.5), though admittedly it has gotten somewhat less sensitive.
v13 was almost unusable at night with those watch the road warnings almost every 2 minutes.
v14.2.2.5 is significantly better but I need to stare foward like a hawk. Don't look down, side to side or at the console.
No errors are thrown in the log according to the tesla SC. I verified in the camera setttings and with my phone that the infrared camera is working.

A lot harder at night. Just look at the camera preview. I do believe they look at more than just your eyes though, so if your head tilts down if you’re nodding off that’s a good queue - I suppose.
Better than the Toyota Bz4x taxi I took which kept yelling at the Somali driver for not looking at the road every time there was no street lights illuminating his face. Was really bad as we drove through an area where they were a bit sparse and it just kept beeping and bonging…

HW3 and it definitely sees my eyes at night. Especially if I look at that screen. Man it really hates you looking at that mf lol

It doesn’t just switch to having you touch the wheel instead? Mine give that alert cabin illumination too low or something like that but it just makes me touch the wheel then. It doesn’t make me drive manually

I wear sunglasses at night with FSD if I want to take a nap.

But then you have to watch the screen to see the nag..

Lmao you ever catch yourself looking at the nag waiting for it to go away even though it’s nagging you cause you’re looking at it lol. I’ve done that a few times spacing out.

Manually switch your display to daylight mode and that provides just enough ambient light for it to track your face.
