Should be, but when you do the trade it it tells you. I just checked for my model x to the cyber truck but I decided against switching

If you order by 3/31/26, you can do it. Otherwise, it ends for orders afer.

Will it ever come back? No one knows. I doubt we'd see it back at least for the next 10 years as 10 concurrent FSD subscriptions are a tranch in Elon's pay package. Perhaps if he does hit that goal before the 10 years are up, it might return soon?

You cannot transfer FSD to a Model S or X that come with Luxe. Period.

Nope. You can’t.

I didn't say you could. The OP even mentioned that the luxe package was not transferrable...
I was responding to "Can I transfer my fsd from my 2024 model 3 lr to a new model s?"

It told me I could 🤔

And the answer to that question is still no. You cannot transfer FSD from a Model 3 LR to a new Model S. The Model S already comes with FSD as part of the Luxe package.

What is “it?” There’s no option to even attempt such a transfer. FYI I just got a new Model S four days ago so I know for a fact you can’t.

Trade it in.
I was considering getting the 60k cyber truck and when I did the trade in from my 2023 model x the trade in screen said I was eligible for FSD transfer.

I did trade in my 2022 Model S for the 2026. No such option. The Cybertruck $60K version doesn’t have FSD as standard. So of course it worked for you then.

When I traded in my 2020 model y to the 2023 model x I didn’t have to select any options, FSD transfer was just was all automatic. Did you buy both cars directly from Tesla?
WilliamG007

Yes of course that worked for you in 2023. I feel like nobody is listening to me. You cannot transfer FSD from any vehicle to a new 2026 Model S because the 2026 S already comes with FSD.

Yea maybe. I was checking for a cybertruck. Let me with the cyber truck.

If the CT is not with Luxe then yes it works. Not with Model S.

So, the only reason I'd like it to transfer is if I keep the model s for 10 years and Tesla allows transfers again. If I'm stuck with the Luxe FSD it will not be transferable, but I wanted to see if my potential transferred FSD could override the luxe one.
WilliamG007

It will not. There’s no overriding the FSD terms on the Luxe package.
