Mercy_house | 2026-03-04 21:58 | 238 views

I just bought a 2023 Tesla Model 3 Standard Range with 58,000 miles for $27,000. Do you think it’s worth it

Ok_Childhood_9694 2026-03-04 22:03

In my opinion abit over priced for the mileage. Looks clean though!! Congratulations

Ebarron0125 2026-03-04 22:03

Definitely overpaid.

The_FlatBanana 2026-03-04 22:04

Over priced, yes.

quickcases 2026-03-04 22:04

You overpaid by a lot but nice car though! Congrats

Rubino250 2026-03-04 22:04

Just bought a 2023 tesla model 3 rwd from tesla's website, with 28k miles for 24k.

Mercy_house 2026-03-04 22:04

o ,really?I am going to return it.I don;t like the over prived

WhaleDonation7 2026-03-04 22:04

My neighbor bought a 22 MYP for 27k with 53k miles.....

NotAnAIOrAmI 2026-03-04 22:05

A new one is around $47K so yeah, I think you overpaid a bit. OTOH, my wife's 2018 Model 3 has 130K on it and she intends to keep it to 200K, so you could probably get your money's worth. It is pretty though.

Ok-Wrap-9779 2026-03-04 22:05

Looks great but maybe it is a bit high. Last year I got my 22’ sr with 33k miles and fsd for $26.5k

Inevitable_Ad_711 2026-03-04 22:05

Rip out the current suspension, throw the highland suspension on it and you got yourself a $40k car for ~$29k total https://www.reddit.com/r/TeslaModel3/comments/1hdd4mt/swapped_the_2024_highland_suspension_into_my_2022/

Mercy_house 2026-03-04 22:07

what about it's out door price?includ tax everything

Educational-Cut-8081 2026-03-04 22:09

I got a 2023 SR 60k miles for $17,699 a month ago

Tiny-Dust-9261 2026-03-04 22:09

What would you say would be a fair out the door price for that model with that mileage? I’m currently looking to buy something similar.

Ok_Isopod_8401 2026-03-04 22:09

I just bought a model 3 2020 with 59k mileage for 14k

Ebarron0125 2026-03-04 22:10

21-25 depending on mileage. Do yourself a favor and get a long range https://preview.redd.it/m4wi034uq3ng1.jpeg?width=1320&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4fe8f860989732b261e9226f32f7f231e15dbd9b

Itdoesmattertome8 2026-03-04 22:10

I just bought a 2024 M3 AWD, less than 7k miles, for $33k for reference.

No-Session-864 2026-03-04 22:11

I got my 18 m3p for 6k

LilPebzz 2026-03-04 22:11

Last month, I got a ‘23 w/ 18K miles for $25K, so there’s that

stupid_traders 2026-03-04 22:11

I bought my 2023 Tesla model 3 performance with 40k miles white on white 1 year ago for $25k…

Away-Scar7754 2026-03-04 22:12

Feels high. I see 2024 long range RWD with under 15,000 miles for low $30s. And you get HW4 and greater range, better NVH and just better…

Broad-Adagio-7668 2026-03-04 22:13

Teslas website has these same cars for 21-22k

Travel29PCA 2026-03-04 22:13

Yeah no offense but go to kelly blue book and look at the trade in value of that car you just bought. I think you may have over paid

[deleted] 2026-03-04 22:13

[deleted]

Extension-Shopping84 2026-03-04 22:14

Bro i just posted my 2022 long range 35k miles for 26,500 lol

Business_Second_7812 2026-03-04 22:15

you overpaid by about 3k

crazyjonwayne 2026-03-04 22:15

I bought a 2023 M3LR from tesla website. 9k miles and paid way less than that. Geez.

jackie__shan 2026-03-04 22:15

Damn I saw your post now I want to do that on my 2021 sr+ But I need a shop to do that (I’m in France)

Stardweller 2026-03-04 22:16

2023 Performance with 39k for 30k off Carvana a couple weeks back.

StrategicSpanishFrog 2026-03-04 22:17

Yea overpaid. I got my 22 model 3 AWD lr with acceleration boost 22k miles for 26000 Also white interior

Ok-Wrongdoer8061 2026-03-04 22:18

You overpaid, but you’re still getting a great car for the price.

SaltyDawg-_- 2026-03-04 22:20

Return it and look elsewhere. I got my 2021 with like 20k miles for 25k

Tall-Vermicelli-4669 2026-03-04 22:21

You shoulda asked us first but after you get over that, you'll love the car. Have people check the Tesla site first

TensionAromatic9273 2026-03-04 22:21

Seems high but congrats!

-eccentric- 2026-03-04 22:23

Jealous about your US prices.

WoWLaw 2026-03-04 22:24

It’s a great car, you’ll love it. I’d have sold you my 2023 M3P with 38k miles for 30 grand.

thishitisgettingold 2026-03-04 22:27

You way overpaid. I got my 22 38k miles LR for 21k OTD. You overpaid by at least 5k if not more. For past 6 months that I have been shopping TM3, I have seen countless cars below $20k list price with fewer than 60k miles.

Ren_HiRen 2026-03-04 22:27

I think I saw 2023 m3p with 30k miles going for 32-33k

InterstellarChange 2026-03-04 22:27

prices are location dependent. Take mileage and condition into account. I've seen similar mileage for $20k that a meth junkie wouldn't sleep in. Standard range has LFP batteries which is a bonus if you daily, will have more usable range than a LR. LFP are less a fire risk, the SR is lighter and efficient. You can charge to 100% all the time, in fact recommended. LR is better to float at 50-60% and max 80% with 100% only for long trips.

Ren_HiRen 2026-03-04 22:28

Might I add , I believe a lot of people got that car for 35k (maybe less) because of the upfront tax credit

squall2099 2026-03-04 22:30

For the amount of miles, maybe 24k would have been better but long as the battery is good. All the matters.

I-Take-Dumps-At-Home 2026-03-04 22:32

I mean, a simple look online would have displayed many of these exact versions for a few thousand dollars less. With less miles. I don’t think you’re stupid. But I question your car shopping abilities.

Flakarter 2026-03-04 22:33

Is that price out the door with tax, tag, title and all fees? Or is that just the price of the car before all of those extras?

rwhe83 2026-03-04 22:33

Gotta love when people ask if they got a good deal **after** buying the vehicle.

Present-Ad-9598 2026-03-04 22:34

They overpaid by atleast $3k

Trip_Se7ens 2026-03-04 22:34

Probably like 18-20k tbh. I have a 2023 m3p with 27k miles, and trade in was worth about 18k, so I can't imagine that being much better.

aeiou_sometimesy 2026-03-04 22:37

It’s better but nothing like you’re pushing here.

bdz 2026-03-04 22:40

I just got a 2023 12.8k miles for $23k

otgixxer 2026-03-04 22:42

I bought a 2022 M3 LR DM for 27k OTD from the tesla dealer less than a year ago. It was a bit more than comps but having it checked out by a Tesla and the additional warranty they offered made it seem like a fair deal to me at least.

Tiny-Dust-9261 2026-03-04 22:43

I really want a model y but most of the cars i can find in my area (Los Angeles) are 20-26k for high mileage about 60k miles average I would say and are 2019-2023. Maybe I should look outside my area. The model 3s around me are much better priced 19-23k with much lower mileage average around 40k miles.

Only_Indication8410 2026-03-04 22:44

I got my M3 2023 standard range for $20,900 with 43,000 miles

jcmustin12 2026-03-04 22:48

Good news is, there are probably over a million people who overpaid worse than you when buying a new Tesla / EV, so in that regard, not so bad! Amazing car though, dont worry about it

ahvex 2026-03-04 22:51

same got mines about a month ago paid $23,100

ahvex 2026-03-04 22:51

with 23k miles

djklmnop 2026-03-04 22:53

Got my 2022 AWD 37k miles for $20k

SnooDogs7747 2026-03-04 22:54

If you're satisfied with the interior then don't worry about it. These cars don't have the same wear and tear per mile as ICE vehicles do.

GustavesGhost 2026-03-04 22:55

That is not a good price. That’s like $1k less than what I paid for my 2022 long range AWD directly from Tesla.

EndMyFuckingLife 2026-03-04 22:55

Damn son mine was 16k miles for 28k

PaperOrPlastic34 2026-03-04 23:08

Just curious why you’d ask after the purchase? It’ll spoil your excitement - what’s done is done and now it’s time to just enjoy. Congrats!

pinkmann1 2026-03-04 23:08

Got a 22 LR with 28k miles for 26 otd 6 months ago.

B1A23 2026-03-04 23:11

I bought my ‘22 LR with 29k miles for $27,500

millenialliberal 2026-03-04 23:17

Same got mine in November 23k, 28k miles. White interior though

Calmoneyhan 2026-03-04 23:22

I’m eyeing a similar price setup. Did you find it worth it?

Background-House9795 2026-03-04 23:27

A few weeks ago: 2020 MYLR 35k miles $24k. Independent dealer.

Kilzky 2026-03-04 23:57

overpaid by a few thousand. if it’s in very great condition, it should be worth the value you paid

sblu23 2026-03-05 00:16

From where?

Sweatpantzzzz 2026-03-05 00:16

IMO 2023 was the best year

Academic_End_3828 2026-03-05 00:25

zaminaz 2026-03-05 00:28

I just got a 2023 Standard range with 37k miles for $23.2k, directly from Tesla.

lacaaniyah 2026-03-05 00:29

I bought the same exact car with the same mileage for $20,500 😭

Kekafuch 2026-03-05 00:34

LFP SR is the same weight as the LR DM … The NMC SR was lighter.

Either-Breadfruit-83 2026-03-05 00:35

You might be stupid but it’s not because of this decision

lacaaniyah 2026-03-05 00:36

WAIT HOW 😭😭😭

Love_wealth_peace 2026-03-05 00:40

Just bought a 2023 model 3 with 5k miles for 27k including tax and fees

FamousStore150 2026-03-05 00:55

The answer we were looking for is “come to Reddit is before you buy, not after.” Congratulations on the M3. You’ll love it.

niknik888 2026-03-05 01:08

Yes. I have one as well.

occhis 2026-03-05 01:10

Guys, this is a performance model, so definitely worth more than an sr or AWD

Slayerz00m 2026-03-05 01:11

Yes

Slayerz00m 2026-03-05 01:15

You paid 7k.extra This is 15k miles less, yet more than $5k cheaper than what you paid. Rear-Wheel Drive $21,600 2023 Pre-Owned Vehicle with 41,688 mi https://preview.redd.it/5gwrnqrwn4ng1.png?width=795&format=png&auto=webp&s=414d69dc2ca8a94f137e9a10cf95cfba473f60a5

Kooter37 2026-03-05 01:34

I got a 2020 M3 with 78k miles a little over a month ago for $13k.

ljndry 2026-03-05 01:49

Depends on your location because prices tend to fluctuate throughout the country. For example, I bought a 22 Model 3 Performance with 40k miles for 26k in the California Bay Area. I would say you were overcharged unfortunately.

Economy-Cupcake-3805 2026-03-05 01:50

No. Just bought a 23 M3 long range with 22k miles with white interior for 29k. CPO from Tesla with warranty to December 2027 and battery warranty until 2031.

wallydan 2026-03-05 02:00

2021, dual wheel drive model 3, for 12k. I feel like I stole it! So blessed

fudgedebt 2026-03-05 02:01

Enjoy it and don’t worry plus you got 10k miles of additional warranty and Tesla checked it out. Enjoy!

pillowmite 2026-03-05 02:33

I paid 20,995 before tax,etc 8/25 for my grey metallic 2023 RW Std manuf 8/23,.with 4700 miles!!! Windshield passed inspection, only a little rash on one wheel but don't have wheel protection. I feel like I scored!!

Unlikely-Sympathy683 2026-03-05 02:54

Bought a 2023 extended range all wheel drive from Houstons Auto Boutique in texas for 30k with 7k miles only

[deleted] 2026-03-05 02:55

If you take care of it, it is very likely you can get 300,000 miles out of the car. Most don’t keep cars that long, but the option will likely be there for you.

No-Session-864 2026-03-05 03:00

IDK MY BROTHER OFFERD ME IT

Artistic-Package-178 2026-03-05 03:08

I got my 2023 M3P in August with 24k miles for 30k.

negativenancy69420 2026-03-05 03:10

codemonkeyhopeful 2026-03-05 03:13

Free-Worldliness1825 2026-03-05 03:13

Price feels high. Bought the same with 13k miles for 23k from Tesla.

RuthlessIndecision 2026-03-05 03:17

nope, its a sweet car. Check out all the options on the screen, the software updates more than my phone, these cars stay fresh. cars have had shitty user interface screens for too long, this one is different. congrats! enjoy not going to gas stations!

Strong-Data9086 2026-03-05 03:51

2022 MY Performance with 14k miles for 33k

NoMansWarmApplePie 2026-03-05 03:58

I got the same almost exact miles for about 23k otd. They added dealership stuff I couldn't get rid of.

NoMansWarmApplePie 2026-03-05 03:58

For 58k so you think 23k otd was good? Got one in really, really good condition.

NoMansWarmApplePie 2026-03-05 04:00

That's a unicorn though. I believe it more in Ohio though. Notning like that where I live

NoMansWarmApplePie 2026-03-05 04:02

What year? It really depends on what's you live. Also, alot of sneaky fees that they won't sell car without. They use cheap prices to get you in and then reveal real price to ya. So the online prices are skewed on average.

Ancient-Sandwich9400 2026-03-05 04:06

What does it matter? If you can’t back out then it’s yours. Enjoy it and take care of it and move forward.

NoMansWarmApplePie 2026-03-05 04:06

Wtf. Where? Is that otd?

NoMansWarmApplePie 2026-03-05 04:07

I got my like new (in terms of upkeep) 2023 SR, 58k miles for 23k OTD. They added stupid dealership stuff, like Winshield and tires . But they wouldn't sell it without it because that's how they make their money. I still think it's on average a decent deal. Just got two big scratches on bumper though :/

thishitisgettingold 2026-03-05 04:12

2022. Like I said, it's OTD. Not selling price.

Feeling-Morning1659 2026-03-05 04:14

I just picked up the same Model 3 52K miles used directly from Tesla for $20,300. Took delivery last week.

chadpig 2026-03-05 04:15

Yea you way over paid. That’s a 17k car. 23-25k if LR awd

Mercy_house 2026-03-05 04:16

yes

Rollzzzzzz 2026-03-05 04:17

Ok

NoMansWarmApplePie 2026-03-05 04:17

Ah that's a great deal! Got my 2023 for like 23k otd. By where I live there was nothing lower. Local dealerships were charging 22k otd for like 2019s. 22s were minimum 23k and that's without tax etc.

biggestbluee 2026-03-05 04:20

28k OTD for my 2023 model 3 long range awd. 30k miles. did i overpay?

PaidForThis 2026-03-05 04:40

Ill take your word on that figure. My general take is these suckers are going 300k miles on the reg., with proper maintenance/use of that pack. Climate is a thing too.

[deleted] 2026-03-05 04:48

Bought mine with only 30k miles a year ago for less than that sheeshhhh you got fleeced

Anzorian 2026-03-05 04:48

Owner of 2023 M3P and have owned over 20 cars. Yes I’m old. It’s my favorite car of them all. Speed is scary, FSD is amazing with HW3 for me. So enjoy!!

DiscombobulatedFee86 2026-03-05 04:58

My mom bought the same car in January for $22,500 from Tesla. Had 39k miles. 3 free months of everything

Square-Debate5181 2026-03-05 04:59

Nah, happens. Nobody cares. 😉😅

That_Paramedic5306 2026-03-05 05:07

I got my 21’ model 3 for 17k back in march

Logical-Ad-2615 2026-03-05 05:28

You probably overpaid by $3-5k but if you love it, just keep driving it. That damage is already done. Long term, it will have been one of the best decisions of your life.

SnooSquirrels9064 2026-03-05 05:31

Well... For the record, I think the highland suspension was better than the updated "more comfortable" suspension in the 2023 Model Y I had.

InterstellarChange 2026-03-05 06:08

**339 lb (154 kg) weight difference**  * **Standard Range (RWD)**: Weighs **3,891 lb (1,765 kg)**.  This model uses a single-motor rear-wheel-drive setup with a 60 kWh battery. * **Long Range (AWD)**: Weighs **4,030 lb (1,830 kg)**.  This model features a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system and a larger 78.1 kWh battery.

ChosenNoOne 2026-03-05 06:15

I think you overpaid. I got my 2023 LR 37k miles for the same price as yours.

NoMansWarmApplePie 2026-03-05 06:15

Kekafuch 2026-03-05 07:02

I recently bought a six month old 2025 Model 3 Highland RWD long range, 4000 miles, red with white seats, Enhanced Autopilot, detachable towbar, 4.5 years manufacture’s warranty £35,800. You overpaid in my opinion.

NM23200 2026-03-05 10:23

But why don't you think of this before you buy the car.

mixgasdivr 2026-03-05 11:05

Yes

Muminov2018 2026-03-05 11:14

21 December 2025, bought m3 sr 2022, 20.000 km for 22.000$

RBBCPA_98 2026-03-05 12:20

I have a 2021 M3P and I would love to get 300k miles on my car, so I have a legitimate question on how to achieve this. What constitutes “taking care of it” to get to get to this milestone? Let’s assume that the known battery issues with the 2021 year model doesn’t affect my M3P. Thanks in advance for your help.

jacob6875 2026-03-05 12:25

If that includes tax / title etc. it’s an ok deal but not amazing. Probably could have found one several thousand cheaper.

bdz 2026-03-05 12:33

Kissimmee, FL.[ Here's my thread on it](https://www.reddit.com/r/TeslaModel3/comments/1rei01g/2023_model_3_loving_it/) Keep an eye on the tesla used site, deals pop up and go very quickly. I had this bookmarked for 4-5 days and was checking it relentlessly [https://www.tesla.com/inventory/used/m3?VehicleHistory=CLEAN&arrangeby=plh&zip=32773&range=200](https://www.tesla.com/inventory/used/m3?VehicleHistory=CLEAN&arrangeby=plh&zip=32773&range=200) it was listed $23.5k online and I think with taxes and tag it was a hair over $25k Edit: Here's one I found just now, im sure others will pop up over the next few days https://preview.redd.it/khtgy5eh38ng1.png?width=888&format=png&auto=webp&s=739a0ac1bb649f76f05a1ae212b5ca6db0357cdb

Agent0_7 2026-03-05 12:56

Overpaid but it’s a nice car

iarnoldha 2026-03-05 12:56

Well I paid about 60 for mine in 2020.

Ixliam 2026-03-05 13:45

There was a 23 standard rwd on Carvana that sold for $28990 with 2494 miles in nearly perfect shape. (carvana.com/vehicle/4218157) Still good bargains out there but hard to see them all.

WSBDegen69 2026-03-05 14:16

2023 model 3 lr is 26800 at 40k miles.

LectricOldman 2026-03-05 14:22

you don't look stupid.......

BongHitPlease 2026-03-05 14:52

2021 M3P 50k miles on for 24900 white interior

otgixxer 2026-03-05 14:57

absolutely, its been one of the best cars i've ever owned. we own 4 cars and we us the Tesla far more than anything else because its just so easy to use.

frogginbullfish5 2026-03-05 14:58

You may have overpaid, but it will be the best car you ever own. I promise you that. I got a 2022 LR AWD with 19000 miles on it for 28000. I bought at the right time though when there was a surplus back in November.

BurtDBurt 2026-03-05 15:02

I got a 2022 M3 Performance with 27k miles for $30k a couple of months back off of Carvana.

dielog 2026-03-05 15:26

Bought my 23’ m3 LR w/13kmi last May for 30k$

Whole_Craft_1106 2026-03-05 15:56

Who knows. If we have Teslas, we dont care how much current ones cost. Go do a search yourself.

Slipping-in-oil 2026-03-05 15:57

I bought a certified used 2023 M3 LR for that price in December. Car had 14,000 miles.

Nasarescue 2026-03-05 16:12

I like to think I lucked out. Got a 21 M3 LR in perfect condition with lots of upgrades basically everything I would have done. Only 5000 miles on her. Paid 32k. Idk. I feel good and it’s been great.

Key-While-7640 2026-03-05 16:23

22 M3LR white on white with 49k for 21500

Stardweller 2026-03-05 16:43

Sounds about right with the changes between 2022 and 2023. Heat pump and all.

Guilty-Basket2036 2026-03-05 16:58

I bought a M3P 2018 with 1 owner clean carfax 38k miles for $21k. I couldn't say no.

PrettyButterscotch80 2026-03-05 17:06

Yes, I think so, because I paid $28,000 for a 2018 Tesla 3, and your model is newer.

Ok-Following4811 2026-03-05 17:33

No it’s not worth it. You can get a 2021-2023 model 3 performance for $27k for 50k+ miles. Or even a 2021-2023 LR AWD w accel boost for like under $25k for 50k+ miles. I don’t think your car is worth over 24k tbh.

audigex 2026-03-05 17:39

Genuine question because I see this a lot… why don’t you check if the price is good **before** you buy stuff? It seems weirdly common for people to buy things and then ask “I just bought this, did I get a good deal?”, and I completely don’t understand the mindset of why you wouldn’t ask the question first, it confuses me so much

Legitimate-Space-279 2026-03-05 17:57

You overpaid but the car is so solid I don’t think it matters. I got mine in 21 and it still feels like new. Just take care of it, wash it often inside and out, it’ll love you back.

Attention_Imaginary 2026-03-05 17:59

Does Tesla's price vary per location? A car in California might be higher than other states... Does the car have Enhanced Autopilot?

Jairbmwmthree 2026-03-05 18:33

Not one bit, and quite the opposite. You will love her for a long time.

its_uh_bird 2026-03-05 18:48

So that you don’t have the LFP battery? I feel like the RWD is the best value simply because of that. I love my ‘23 m3 RWD. Only 22k miles and I paid 24.6 from Tesla. I have the full warranty until Dec 2028. I can’t think of a better buy

Hot-Coconut-4580 2026-03-05 18:51

That’s more than the insurance company gave me and I had 18 Red M3P full self driving, free supercharging for life, full PPF, brand new tires, complete carbon fiber dash. I had a few more miles new it was $86,513.

TheVideoGameCritic 2026-03-05 18:53

60k for 27k? yeah you got a little taken. but it is what it is.

GrandAd2329 2026-03-05 18:58

I just got my 2023 model 3 standard range 63k miles for $1996 OTD, battery is at 92% health. I’m military so I saved like 2k on taxes and registration

Brainoad78 2026-03-05 19:18

Would not have bought that specially a standard range, I can 2020-2023 performance versions with included connectivity package and fsd fully payed off, if you are patient they come out often and similar mileage of not all good mileage since these are tesla cars the mileage can go high but no worries on tesla motors but I know it scares people of that don't know much about tesla cars in general but I often see those specs from 50k90k miles but to me I would get the performance versions never standard.

WrongdoerIll5187 2026-03-05 19:38

The other big factor is noise, which is partly from cleaning up the frame and a larger part noise dampening glass.

WrongdoerIll5187 2026-03-05 19:38

Same.

papser 2026-03-05 19:45

Por el precio de los seguros xD

icy1007 2026-03-05 20:21

It’s fine. Do you enjoy the car? That’s really all I’d be asking myself if I were you.

CannabisCamel 2026-03-05 22:07

In Jan I bought standard 23 m3 with 38k miles from Tesla for 23,500

_extra_medium_ 2026-03-05 22:14

Fewer miles

_extra_medium_ 2026-03-05 22:15

Nice, only ones i see that low are salvage titles

korrupt_fm 2026-03-05 22:49

For not getting the performance, yes.

Killer_Elite__ 2026-03-05 22:55

I’m in New York, what’s some good sites to check out for deals and compare and contrast

stizzy99 2026-03-05 22:56

Hopefully it's got FSD!

Arachnid-Ashamed 2026-03-05 23:59

Can I share to the class? 🤓☝️ I just bought a MYLR 23' for 28 out the door. 40k miles w/ boost acceleration already on it :)

metagawd 2026-03-06 00:25

Try 32k miles, 21k cost. Ohio as well.

jroman-1987 2026-03-06 00:27

If you like it it’s worth it. It’s slightly more than I paid for mine end of January from Tesla Gainsville FL. ‘23 model 3 stnd 44k miles for $22.5k. I absolutely love the car. Don’t worry to much about 2k especially if you like the car. The prices on teslas fluctuate more than any other manufacturer out there.

Mercy_house 2026-03-06 00:29

Ty

jroman-1987 2026-03-06 00:30

Delicious_Trainer182 2026-03-06 00:54

Sold mine for $20500 with only 36k miles

KingChoppa7 2026-03-06 01:03

Was it wrecked or in poor condition? The only ones I've seen in that price range have at least 90k or older models.

KingChoppa7 2026-03-06 01:04

Facts

KingChoppa7 2026-03-06 01:05

I dint think you did bad. Couple grand over but still good. Car looks in great shape

Away_Translator_9230 2026-03-06 01:50

Just bought a 2017 M3LR with 26k miles and paid $17k

Bada-Bingzy 2026-03-06 01:51

I’ve overpaid before. It happens. You’ll love the car tho.

Anal_belle 2026-03-06 02:00

We just got a 23 model y performance for our jetski hauling. 13k miles $30k from Tesla website.

aenima1991 2026-03-06 02:36

Where? And is it in terrible cosmetic condition? This is well below market

damiancray 2026-03-06 02:58

What’s wrong with the white interior?

choking_ur_girl 2026-03-06 04:29

Got my 2016 model S with sc01 for $12k (130k mi)

chadpig 2026-03-06 05:13

Traded my 2020 LR for 17k it had 49k miles bought a used 2022 Y LR with boost for 26k June last year. Yeah it’s a 17-20k car less if trading in since it’s a standard range

teeger9 2026-03-06 05:34

There was a small paint chip on the back bumper. minor damage to the bottom of the front bumper.

Lopsided-Building245 2026-03-06 08:54

Hmmm would not say you overpaid. It depends on the condition of the car. I got one last year for a similar price after 3 months of search with a befriendet „tesla specialist“. Current prices are nearly the same. But I live in Europe, maybe our market for teslas is more expensive.

willowtrees_r_us 2026-03-06 10:34

Well this depends on where you are at? I sold my 2021 Model 3 long range with 56k for 20k. I feel I listed it way too low.

Feisty_Crab7052 2026-03-06 12:23

It’s about what you think.

StraightPI 2026-03-06 12:47

got my 2023 standard model 3 with 14k miles for 26k

ScrollDownMaybe 2026-03-06 12:48

Last month. 2021 M3 S+ 55k miles for $19K off brand dealers 🥲

waterdripped 2026-03-06 13:24

Got my ‘23 RWD 36k miles for about the same price out the door

Keith-06 2026-03-06 14:06

If you bought it from Tesla used inventory, it’s worth more than buying used from a dealer.

NarcoCow 2026-03-06 14:50

How do people not do research before making life changing purchases 😭

Detective_Far 2026-03-06 15:56

I got a 22’ AWD for $21k with just under 50k miles, got it from Tesla aswell. I used the tax credit though

Peterrina 2026-03-06 16:49

August 2025, Portugal, Dec 2019 Model 3 LR AWD w/FSD, 164k miles, approx 20k$ (17.5k €). 😀

3squiddy 2026-03-06 17:43

Congrats on your new baby. Now that due to yet another war, prices of used EVs will rise, so just enjoy the fact gas price can skyrocket and also no more pumping gas.

Effective-Ad1706 2026-03-06 20:37

I paid 55k brand new no you’re not stupid

Cute-Cartographer467 2026-03-06 21:49

Idk imma go to the dealership and get a offer and than sell private for slightly more

Aggravating_Fun9843 2026-03-06 22:35

Any_Mulberry_2435 2026-03-07 02:58

Massive-Chart-8942 2026-03-07 12:08

Clean title might I add

Fuzzy_Club_1759 2026-03-07 18:40

No one can answer it for you..

IRACEMYCOPCAR 2026-03-07 19:24

YES. You couldve got a performance or a Highland for that. I sold my 2023 Model 3 Performance a year ago with 29,000 miles for $29,000. The buyer used keysavvy and got the $4k tax credit and ended up getting it for $25,000 which was a STEAL! You paid WAY too much but I hope you enjoy the car anyway.

yourDFWrealtor 2026-03-07 21:38

Show us that negative equity you rolled in though.

b16707 2026-03-07 21:50

Same here. But mine had slightly less mileage at 19k. Close enough.

TrafficNo3929 2026-03-07 23:45

I got my 2023 M3P with 28k miles and some really nice forged rims for $28k a couple months back. So eh

Tako_Eye 2026-03-08 00:26

No, your not Stupid just don't let it happen again. I just paid 28k for 2023 M3LR 18k miles w/ Accel Boost with Tesla Pre-Owned here Washington. Check Tesla website first. They have 100+ checkpoint inspection and any previous salvaged/rebuilt title will not pass. Also an 1yr addition warranty past Manu warranty. Downside to using Tesla Site is $500 Non Refundable order fee. Shipping cost if ordering from different state. And your buying site unseen unless its available locally and you can test drive it. Also a rush of 2023 Lease Returns should be flooding the market this year so for those that can hold out for that would reap benfits. Enjoy your M3.

wendysworkersince09 2026-03-08 02:39

I bought a 2023 model y performance for 32k before taxes and ttl

wendysworkersince09 2026-03-08 02:40

With 15k miles

Ok_Pay3643 2026-03-08 03:46

Got a 2021 y awd long range with every option for 21k

No_Table6671 2026-03-08 10:24

Same. 22sr with fsd 7k miles for 27k

fedup-withtrump 2026-03-08 12:45

In answer to your question, yes you may be, but car is a good idea.

Conscious-Donut-72 2026-03-08 15:05

Possible-Pizza8501 2026-03-08 16:08

I bought my 2023 standard with 23,000 miles on it and only paid $20,000

Ok-Wrap-9779 2026-03-08 19:57

Damn, you got a crazy deal. Basically a new car

No_Table6671 2026-03-08 20:31

Yeah. Waiting for the other shoe to drop. It was 27k plus tax so $29.5k. Hopefully there's nothing wrong since warranty expired 3 months into my ownership. Other than that I think it was a good deal. I did transfer fsd to my juniper so I have fsd paid for on a 2026 model y which is way better value than on the 22 m3 with hw3.

Apart_Bear_5103 2026-03-08 20:45

Don’t listen to this guy. It’s not a $17K car. Not even close.

Apart_Bear_5103 2026-03-08 20:45

A trade is not a purchase. You could’ve sold it private party for at least $22K if you wanted to unload it quick.

Apart_Bear_5103 2026-03-08 20:47

No

Apart_Bear_5103 2026-03-08 20:51

Trade in value is not retail value. They aren’t selling you the car for the trade in price.

SoJaded66 2026-03-09 00:27

cheaper than a new Toyota and 100x nicer... good job!

Noob911 2026-03-09 02:01

I have a 2023 that I bought new- please tell me why it's the best! I do love it, though

Proud_Environment506 2026-03-09 16:31

YI s, worth it. Great car!!!!!!

Sweatpantzzzz 2026-03-09 20:28

I bought mine new too. I’ve rented so many of them prior to and after buying mine when on trips. Previous model years have been plagued with build quality issues and poor quality materials. Those cars just get worn out faster. My 2023 is still in MINT condition. Knock on wood though. The late 2022 model years aren’t bad either in terms of quality and they include the parking sensors. Not sure if Tesla disables them now though.

Salty_Yesterday3845 2026-03-10 03:34

I just got the same thing with 24k miles for 27k on Carvana

Turbulent-Step-6504 2026-03-10 13:58

I paid $21k for a 22 M3 LR AWD with 40k miles. That was in June 2024.

onlyaustinsfans 2026-03-10 19:24

That’s a little steep I think…. I bought my 2018 mid range with 66k on her for $17,750 in damn near perfect condition. But yours has more range and it’s newer so it might not be as steep as l thought. Congrats tho!

JazzlikeOwl5155 2026-03-10 22:00

Not even

Cre8tor4U 2026-03-11 06:14

What is done is done, that is what I told my self today, I came home with 2. A 2023 MYP and a 2023 MYLR - 21K miles on it and 32K, $27K and $30K, I know I over paid, but after driving an 8 passenger escalade for more than 25 years. I think I just made a reason with myself...LOL. Congrats!

Huge_Ad_2133 2026-03-11 17:12

I got a 2023 Tesla Model 3 rwd with 7800 miles for $26700 from Tesla.com.   Dark grey with white interior.

bvassallo22 2026-03-14 02:30

My daughter has a 2023 with 40,500 you can get for $23,500. In San Diego
