You probably have an LFP

Click the car icon on the bottom left, then go to “Software” tab. Then select it, and select “Additional vehicle information” below the Autopilot computer text.
If it says “High voltage battery type: Lithium iron phosphate”, that’s LFP. Otherwise you have NCA.

The car itself will let you know the recommended charging % when you plug it in. Also, you'll know when you take delivery of it as it will be given to you with either 80% or 100% charge.

I don’t think 2025 SR has LFP, only 2024 does before they canned the SR trim.

If you have a LFP pack, your app will tell you to put the charging limit to 100% if you try to put it down at all.

That’s wrong, the current standard range (SR) is not a LFP but a module reduced NCA. They stopped LFP with the 2024 model year (somewhere in the middle of the model year), hence why there was no SR in late 2024 or early-middle 2025.

Based on OP’s answer below, you are wrong. The current standard range (SR) is not a LFP but a module reduced NCA. They stopped LFP with the 2024 model year (somewhere in the middle of the model year), hence why there was no SR in late 2024 or early-middle 2025.

It depends on the market you are in. Assuming op is from the US you are right. In Europe it’s still LFP.

Whatever the charging recommends, on my old RWD it said 100% on my newer M3PH it’s 80%

Listen to the app. For LFP's it will say to charge it to 100%.
