Smart choice 🧠

JurassicTerror 2026-02-28 23:04

You gonna wrap it or just prefer white?

Unusual_Limit5648 2026-02-28 23:05

Prefer white. If anything clear ppf. I’ll see

chimelime 2026-02-28 23:38

very cute! congratulations

JurassicTerror 2026-03-01 00:25

Right on

gym4c 2026-03-01 01:06

We did the same thing. Got a family Model Y 7 seater, then a M3P for myself. Congrats!

Ok_Childhood_9694 2026-03-01 01:32

Congratulations!!

Working_Speech_8224 2026-03-01 01:57

100k in cad 20k more expensive for the same thing 😭

jchin913 2026-03-01 05:20

That’s what I did. I have the same spec!

Supernavt 2026-03-01 11:17

My kid just bought a MINT 2023 RWD, gray, just off lease Model3, 8900 miles. Has the phosphate batteries with 97% functional life remaining. $21,000. He had leased a white ‘24, just like this one, for a year when he lived in Florida. Closed the lease to move back to Ohio. He never stopped talking about it. (He’s a pilot at NetJets) Great cars though, if you understand them. Makes me want one!!

Acrobatic-Main-1270 2026-03-01 13:14

Congrats 🎉

Unusual_Limit5648 2026-03-01 13:35

That’s awesome! Hell of a price. I bought new because I’ll be turning 40 this year, and plan to drive this thing until I kick the bucket.

Historical_Tea1477 2026-03-01 14:40

Nice! We have a model Y with 7 seats and we were debating between grabbing another MY with 7 seats or getting a model 3. The MY would be for when we’re all together and the M3 would be for when we just need to run errands or a few of us need to leave the house. How has it worked out for you? Do you ever regret not having 2 MYs?

Suvi2k 2026-03-01 17:05

I wish I got a picture of the bow on mine when I got it hah. What color interior did you choose and is this used, since I see the tinted windows.

Unusual_Limit5648 2026-03-01 17:46

I dunno if 10 miles is considered used or not. It’s white on black. My preference. My kids will ruin the white before I buy new tires for it. It’s the lighting. I wish it came with tints. It’ll save me $500 bucks. 😃

Suvi2k 2026-03-01 17:49

Mine had like 10 miles too and it wasn’t considered used also and went through the new sales w/ EV tax discount. Ah if it’s the lighting I guess you answered my question indirectly on interior color choice, it’s def black. Mine too! Enjoy the car, it’s been awesome so far.

Unusual_Limit5648 2026-03-01 17:54

Yeah. I test drove everything in this price range and nothing comes close to price/performance. Thanks and you enjoy too!!

ThumbyFingerton 2026-03-01 23:46

If I were long married and got my wife a car out of the kindness of my heart, I’d have no problem getting HER a model y. But damned if I’ll be driving one. Such an ugly assed car (literally… BABY GOT BACK!)

gym4c 2026-03-02 03:47

That was our exact same thought process lol. We debated a second Y, or even a used one for the daily. But I took the family to try a M3LR and the dealer said “hey, we have an M3P. Want to try it?” I bought one two weeks later. My rational is that if one person sits out, then the M3P is all we need. But the 7 seater is when the whole family is there. It’s our family car and we like this setup for now (until Tesla releases the MYL lol)

Historical_Tea1477 2026-03-02 04:47

Thanks for the reply! That pretty much confirms it for me. As soon as our lease is up on our second car (which is gas powered) in a few months, I’m hopping on Tesla website and placing the order for the M3. Lol

gym4c 2026-03-02 04:49

Yes. It’s nice having the contrast hahah. But we really debated on two Y’s. Looking back, maybe that was the better choice lol. But do I regret it? No. Love having the smaller car for efficiency’s sake.

Machineslave240 2026-03-02 13:34

I bought my 2025 M3P first and loved it so much I got my wife a Y. She was on the fence about it so I got her a 2 year lease on hers so she could try it. She loves it of course and is already talking about buying a Juniper when the lease ends

Unusual_Limit5648 2026-03-02 13:39

Hell yeah! It’s crazy. Once you go electric. It’s hard to go back to gasoline. Don’t think I’ll ever go back to gas.

Machineslave240 2026-03-02 13:42

For the last 11 years I have driven a modified Grand Sport Corvette. Probably the pinnacle of affordable (ICE) sports cars. The M3P is better and I won’t be going back to ICE.

Unusual_Limit5648 2026-03-02 15:43

Wow! Nice rides! Loving it.

Go_halos 2026-03-02 15:43

Thank you

Livid_Struggle_4984 2026-03-02 16:01

We have a model 3 and we love it for long trips, but it is pretty disgusting owning a car marketed by creepy Elon Musk. You will find that the battery will lose range significantly as the car ages.

mrmanhimself77 2026-03-02 19:53

We got one more year to pay off our 3 unless there’s a huge change I’m sticking with it 2022. Congrats tho

Unusual_Limit5648 2026-03-02 20:52

No need to change! 2022s are great. I won’t upgrade until this thing dies.

BraveEyeball 2026-03-03 03:59

Model Y LR for her. Model Y Performance for me. I need to tow and haul stuff. But go fast also

Unusual_Limit5648 2026-03-03 11:12

Smart one. I like it. You have good taste.

Stew_Pedasel209 2026-03-03 14:34

How does a MY seat 7?! Is there an extra row accessory that goes behind the back seat?

gym4c 2026-03-03 15:52

Hahah yeah. Third row behind the second. I plan to keep this until the MYL comes to the States

Nofman 2026-03-05 15:04

If let’s say only use 2 row would MY 7 seater better than normal MY? In terms of space and stuff

gym4c 2026-03-05 15:11

Not in terms of space. The third row takes up room that would normally be used for storage. But if you want 95% of the space for that extra convenience of the third row, then I would get it personally. Having a third row always saved us in moment we needed seating for 7.
