I have a 2018 stealth performance - good for you!

What is a stealth performance M3?
Logical-Ad-2615
2026-02-24 05:38
It was a performance model but without the spoiler, sport suspension or larger wheels. As I understand it, it wasn’t an option when ordering. It was by special request only

Thanks for the explanation

It is a model they should still sell or at least a Performance with smaller all-season tires

Agreed. I traded in my 2018 LR for a 2019 Performance Stealth. I’d love to upgrade to a new Performance but I don’t want the larger wheels or low profile tires. I would jump on a 2026 Performance Stealth.

The same thing happened to me with a 2019.
Acceleration is phenomenal. AI says it's comparable to a Lamborghini Huracán. It's certainly faster off the line than my old 2020 McLaren 720S.

How does FSD retain with the car? I thought after ownership changes, things like FSD, unlimited Supercharging gets removed.

Congrats on the find. I would jump myself if I found it also.

It is already available for the Highland in some regions. It’s mainly known as acceleration boost which stealth models come with.
Logical-Ad-2615
2026-02-25 21:39
Not exactly. Acceleration boost is something different. Acceleration boost takes you to 3.8 ish seconds 0-60. The performance (and stealth subvariant) are good for closer to 3 seconds

Just read about the differences when looking at the ingenext options available. Never knew that but it’s really cool that stealth is the same power as the performance. Too bad both those options don’t exist for the highland in NA currently.

Good find . Keep in mind it’s severely underbraked - I have first hand experience with that downside :s
Just be mindful and you’ll have tons of fun !

If you bought the $8k FSD it stays with the car. If you buy the $100 monthly subscription, it stays with the driver.

Unless the person buys another new Tesla to transfer FSD.

I don't believe FSD is transferable. Pretty sure it stays with the car. If you got in an accident and totalled the car, you would've had to purchase it again (not that you can anymore anyway!)

FSD was made transferable until last month when they stopped selling FSD completely. Now you can no longer buy or transfer FSD

You either don't know how to drive or you never had a 720s because a model 3 performance is not faster then a 720s lol
Prestigious-Law5273
2026-02-26 16:04
Also even the Lamborghini urus is .1 seconds faster then the performance.
jcarlosfox
2026-02-26 16:08
Really.... And when exactly did you drive a 720s? Because I owned and drove one and off the line, my performance is quivker under 100mph.
And a lot more comfortable.
Prestigious-Law5273
2026-02-26 17:28
Not talking about comfortable but it's very easy to Google both cats 0-60 time. Tesla performance is 3.1 seconds and a 2020 720s is 2.8 seconds.
Prestigious-Law5273
2026-02-26 17:31
Also it's hard to believe someone who had a half a million dollar McLaren is talking about how their 48k Tesla is way better lol. Tesla more comfortable sure I give you that. It's a normal sedan while a maclaren is a supercar. That's like me saying my Volvo is more comfortable than a NASCAR car lol

Have you driven a McClarren? Have you sat in one? Have you tried to find a comfort seat adjustment?
All you keyboard jockeys who haven't experienced real world performances need not comment. Like, WOW Google said the McClaren is 0.03 seconds faster to 60MPH.
Until you actually drive the cars, then you are just ASSuming.

2026-02-26 17:46
Do you know how much .3 not .03 is when it comes to that quick of a time. 3 tenths of a second is huge when we are talking about 2-3 seconds cars. Also can you read?? I said OBVIOUSLY a Tesla is more comfortable then a Maclaren they are not in the same class. Obviously a FAMILY SEDAN (tesla) will be more comfortable than a supercar (Maclaren)
Prestigious-Law5273
2026-02-26 17:47
Also yes I HAVE driven a Maclaren multiple times. No I do not own a Maclaren but yes I have driven plenty of super cars. So calm down with your key board jockey comments and read what I say before you spazz out

I transferred my $5,000 FSD from my 2018 M3 AWD to my new M3P 2025

Check everything in the service menu, just because you think they don’t know doesn’t mean they don’t. They know enough to attract you to it and sign it over. That’s all they really need they could care less if anything else has issue. I would look for stuff like ptc heater failure and the likes. Good luck

Briefly you could order it. But they removed it from the website pretty quickly for some reason. But the they kept building them occasionally, and would just randomly ship them out to Tesla stores. I own a 2019 stealth performance, I was looking for several months for one, I kept calling and talking to Tesla stores about it. I finally found one being delivered to San Antonio TX, bought it and drove it home to Oregon.
