Damn it look good

James_the_bull_ 2026-02-20 19:38

You should be using extended lug studs. Would never recommend spacers unless they’re 5mm or narrower. I had eibach lowering springs and they were the biggest waste of money ever. Wouldn’t recommend lowering springs. How’s my stance? https://preview.redd.it/3be9o2yucpkg1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9d8dd16123a2e717fb3dc147dda9cb157ca229b8

Making me wanna trade in my 2021 M3P. The silver looks so damn good.

Me likey.

Hubcentric spacers are just better overall imo

Any difference in the ride? Smoother? Or about the same?

ruibranco 2026-02-20 22:06

quicksilver is easily the best color they've done and the 40mm drop with spacers is the sweet spot. aggressive enough to turn heads without scraping every driveway.

onlytony441 2026-02-20 22:21

Literally the best looking MP3… insanely good looking.

Ebarron0125 2026-02-20 22:26

Man idk I had a 40mm drop and it scraped just about and small dip and entering on some driveways lol

TheMuffStufff 2026-02-20 22:47

Performance models come with extended studs from the factory. He’s fine.

James_the_bull_ 2026-02-20 22:51

Bro half his threads are gone cuz he’s using 17mm spacers. It’s an expensive car, why half ass it and risk the car and your safety? My $0.02

TheMuffStufff 2026-02-20 22:55

You’re not wrong. He shouldn’t do it, but he’ll be alright.

James_the_bull_ 2026-02-20 22:58

Im not going to act like i know everything but im just recommending for safety reasons. With my 4mm spacers i can count 9 full rotations on my lug nuts. With 17mm spacers, he’s probably only engaging 4-5 threads which sounds scary.

TheMuffStufff 2026-02-20 23:02

If he uses shank nuts, which he should, he should have 6 full rotations, which is plenty enough. I mean I would always recommend spacers with their own studs, especially over 15mm. Let him do the risk if he wants haha

starkiller_bass 2026-02-20 23:21

If you're going to be picky about it, you only need three full threads to do the job.

BlueClaymore 2026-02-21 01:02

Wish I went with quicksilver. gorgeous

JurassicTerror 2026-02-21 03:25

The quicksilver looks so good on the model 3. I also like how it’s a little bit darker silver than you usually see on a “silver car”.

Local-Associate-9135 2026-02-21 13:24

Your car's stance looks great and I'm happy to see there are still people who take safety over looks. What brand/type rims do you have? They look really good.

thematchalatte 2026-02-21 16:10

I thought stealth grey was good, but man quicksilver is definitely the best

James_the_bull_ 2026-02-21 16:58

Apex vs5rs. Stock were 20in and 34lbs each. These are 19in and 19lbs each. Huge weight savings. https://preview.redd.it/g064srn8pvkg1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b2cf7c34061d8185bf455df4d507ab9cd204b492

To lower my car and get better handling.

Own-Detail-2713 2026-02-21 21:02

Dang this is literal 🤌🔥

H&R TRAK+ 14mm front uses hub-centric slip on style in conjunction with extended thread lug nuts. This makes for super easy installation and will offer sufficient thread engagement. The rear 17mm is bolt-on style (also hub-centric) so extended lugs studs is not necessary for this setup. https://preview.redd.it/filvqqcejzkg1.jpeg?width=2048&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7ffeb542aa1d021d05e379747abc7cd811f61acd Lowering springs pair much better with Highland M3P's electronic adaptive dampers. For lowering pre-highland Model 3's, we strongly suggest going the coilover route.

About the same. Very compliant in both normal and sport suspension settings!

AccordingBoot6393 2026-02-22 17:16

My exact car and spec! Best model 3 ever made

Local-Associate-9135 2026-02-23 20:59

I was thinking they might be Apex's... Great wheels and indeed a lot lighter!
