Drove my friend’s M3 over a year ago and decided I wanted one too so I started saving up for it. Bought my very first car. A 2023 M3! Been almost a week now and I’m loving it so far!

Make sure to build a nice charge network

RichAgreeable8614 2026-02-19 23:31

Could you please elaborate?

dividendgrinder96 2026-02-19 23:39

There’s ton of free chargers available if you put the work in to look for them. Also which supercharger you’d most likely use the most. If you charge at home you probably won’t need to.

Fuca was not revised in that model. Lateral links Clean the radiator

RichAgreeable8614 2026-02-19 23:53

Yes I plan on using the chargers at work which are free! And I have a supercharger about 8 minutes away. I don’t have one at home unfortunately

RichAgreeable8614 2026-02-19 23:53

Tell me more about Fuca and lateral links

teslaP3DnLRRWDowner 2026-02-20 00:04

Basically front upper control arms and lower bushing get prematurely worn torn/ rusted Tesla will replace it Rear lateral links requir battery subframe to be dropped to replace Radiator is the heat exchanger, vacuum it out, some guides online and clean with a ph neutral foaming cleanser like simple green ac cleaner and rinse it out Get a front mesh grill to prevent leaves from going inside

That’s great advice! Is there a way to check when it needs to be replaced? Anything I can look out for?

I have one at work too but customers need to use so can’t hog it and won’t when I get mine. ATM I’m save up cuz Idk how much I need for down payment. I plan on charging at home with basic cable they sell.

RichAgreeable8614 2026-02-20 03:33

Yeah that’s a great idea. I live in an apartment so I can’t own home charging for now

betteroffdyiing 2026-02-20 04:10

Aww man but also depends how you dive it and how much of it. I live in a house but other houses are behind me so our parking are in the alley way which leads to a two way street so I don’t know where I’ll be able to charge it at night plus the street that I live in is kinda ghetto so that sucks but in the city and my way to work all I see is teslas

I’m new to owning a Tesla. Do you know of any resources for finding these free chargers?

dividendgrinder96 2026-02-20 15:25

Ev go, plug share , ChargePoint and a little bit of sheer luck. 🍀

Yes, you look up the Tesla destination chargers . They’re level 2 chargers so maybe around 30 miles per hour. I live in the Ontario California area and I have a couple locations within 15 mins from me that have Tesla destination chargers which are free
