In our [opinion](https://edmu.in/TR26EV) the new Model 3 has a combination of value, range, performance and quality that other EVs simply can't match. And the build quality just continues to get better and better.

I'm not pissed. I love my Model 3. I need to read the article and hear their reasoning before I can decide if this is deserved. I am initially skeptical as Teslas are generally not considered overly good reliability, quality, or comfort compared to other brands. So this come a bit out of left field. Not saying it is not deserved. Again I need to read the article. But at face value it does clash with other data I have been reading from other outlets. (cough and my own experiences.)

I love my 2025. Couldn't imagine driving anything else.
We currently have a Model 3 (2025) and it is a fantastic car. That being said, it still leaves room for improvement. We picked up a gently used 2024 Nissan ARIYA and besides the awful NAV, I really like the car more than the model 3. However, if I need to do a multi charging trip .. I am going to take the model 3 every single time. Tesla has that locked down tight .. it just works.
What does the ariya do better? I have a 2025 model 3 and a 2022 leaf and I find the Tesla to be entirely superior.
People all over the place were unkind when I had a model 3 and they’re unkind now that I have an i4 to replace it. Everyone thinks their EV is the best EV and they just like to shit on anyone who doesn’t agree. One person went out of their way to reply to a post I made a YEAR ago to tell me my i4 sucks.
My first EV was the 2024 Model 3 Highland, two years in and holy shit its been a dream and my favorite car I've ever owned. Not only is it a smartphone on wheels but the ride is smooth, even my baseline single rear motor has pep, fun to drive, accelerates like a slut in church, has great quality interior including the double pane glass and I love music so the sound system is a feast for my ears and thumps my butt too. I fucking love this car
So I have a 2018, I’m getting the itch to trade up, and I came across a used Audi E-Tron GT for a screaming price. I was considering how much of a step up it would be to go from my OG model 3 to an Audi that was over $110k new. Big luxury, better ride, nicer interior, all that. I watched the video reviews, read about potential issues, and was about to go on a test drive. But my wife and I had to go out of town for a week, so I held off. While we were out of town, we always rent a model 3 through Turo, we’re just so used to our teslas (wife has a Y) that it’s just easier to drive one everywhere. So we’re walking to the car from the airport terminal. We’ve already got it added to our teslas app. The cars location is showing up in app so we can easily find it. We have the AC on and cooling the car in the hot parking lot, I open the door and the car automatically adjusts to my preferred settings, and we put the destination in so the car knows where we’re going. We get out of the parking lot. I turn on FSD and the car takes over to get us where we’re going, I didn’t have to intervene once. Like…you can hate on Tesla all you want. I don’t like Elon, he needs to go. But goddamn, if this isn’t a fantastic product. It is so easy to own, to drive, it does so much for you, it just works like you want it to work. Anybody who thinks it’s a shit car just hasn’t experienced it yet. No other car can do what a Tesla does. The haters believe other manufacturers are already at the same level, but they’re just not. That rental turo was my reminder that a pricey Audi might be nicer inside and have a smoother ride, but it still can’t do what a Model 3 can. The award is well deserved.
It’s a great car despite the haters.
