Enjoy. I debated the same and really love my 2023 LR. It’s still stupid fast and the standard wheels do ride better than the larger performance wheels. The acceleration package is always there if you really need it.

I spent countless hours researching. Found one not listed yet through a dealer buddy.
I got lucky.
Plus my trade in is worth 20k lol.

that sounds like a great find! i recently traded in my toyota corolla 2022 for a 2022 M3 AWD with a trade in value of 16k. most of the 2024 M3 that i looked up were around 34k+ lol

I have a 23 LR with acceleration boost. I wish everyday I got the performance.

Sorry to hear that brother (or sister lol).
I'm coming from a 300hp ice car. Driving the lr awd was such an amazing experience.
The wife and I decided to save the 7k difference.
I got this for 16k otd.
The performance I was serious about was going to be just under 23k otd.
As I said, I may regret it. If I do, I'll just trade it in for a m3p lol.
I'm paying the 16k cash so she'll be mine.

Thats true. Can always trade it in. If I trade in, I would just get a used plaid at this point.
I plan to keep my Tesla until the battery dies. Im already at 42k miles.

7k difference only? You should’ve gotten the performance bro.

The M3P is just crazy fast. I know I love it, but at the same time, I can understand people who don’t need it. Congrats on the new M3.

Coming from a 22 M3P, I debated Dual Motor or Performance when it was time to lease another Model 3. Decided to save $300/mo+ by going to Dual Motor direction. Still a fun car, and in ways better than the old performance in a couple ways - one is that the retuned suspension and smaller wheels work better on bumpy, crappy roads. The Dual Motor also pulls robustly on the highway - feels like above 60 it would be the match of the previous M3P, at least until 123mph where the limiter kicks in. I regret in ways not going for the performance, but I don't regret the savings. M3 AWD is still a really fun and engaging car to drive, particularly if you put good rubber on it. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine.

The performance is pointless. The LR AWD is 90% as good as the performance, and that 10% extra isn’t even usable.

I have a '24 M3 lr AWD. It's fast enough. Enjoy the mi way you saved & know you are getting an incredible car.

I obviously agree since I have a lr awd with the acceleration boost. I don’t need to go 0-60 any faster, and I don’t need the ride to be more bumpy. I don’t spend a lot of timing driving over 140mph, you get arrested where I am.
I’m cool blowing 7k another way. Like, any other way

Make sure you get an extended warranty repairs are very expensive

Wasn’t the 24 M3 a refresh that has everything inside, AWD, long range, PERFORMANCE, & FSD?

M3P is the only way to go. I drove both

before buying and I do not regret it.

But you always know that you are missing that something. That itch doesn't go away. I have gone from 21 SR+ -> 21 M3P to 26 M3P. I had a MY LR loaner for a month and that actually felt quite sluggish compared to M3P, so I just couldn't take M3 LR. Before that, I was seriously considering it as an option. BTW I am not the kind of person accelerating it constantly to the max. But I do like the idea of having that reserve.

Enjoy! I went back and forth too, and the 2023 LR is awesome. It’s still crazy fast, and the standard wheels feel better than the bigger performance ones. Plus, the acceleration package is there if you need it.
