The stock 18” won’t fit but there are aftermarket ones from Atomic wheels and others that do.

The factory 18s, no. But if you go with 18s from Martian wheels, then yes, as they were engineered to clear the calipers of the performance model.

Newbie wheel setup question here as well for M3P owner. How would one know if the rims would clear bigger brakes, is there a way to tell with buying used set without trying it on?

On ‘22 M3P just got 19” Drag wheels and 235/40R-19 Michelin X-Ice from Tire Rack. Their online tool is really helpful. More side wall but unsure right now about efficiency. Happy overall with winter set

Wheels don’t need to be made by Martian to fit, nor do all Martian 18s fit mp3s. It’s a simple matter of width and offset, not manufacturer.

I thought I saw in another thread that the 2024+ 18”s will fit the m3p.

i think the problem here is the caliber clearance. Everybody mentions martian because they ponsored them directly for tesla owners and have a better clearance than the stock aeros.
Still you need to be careful where you put the balancing weights or those will strike the caliber on an M3P

Correct. Wheel width and offset determine if the caliper clears or not.

The 2024+ 18" Photons will not fit a 2018-2023 M3P, I bought a set myself and had to sell immediately when they wouldn't clear the rear calipers.

Ahhh thanks for the info. Thats a shame I was considering getting them. I think they look great for stock rims, and it would be cool to have aero caps for long drives.

Clearly it's a matter of width and offset, but the point is that Martian has engineered clearance into their wheels since they sort of specialize in the tesla space. It's just easier to find wheels that will work over there.

Don't want to hijack your thread. But I want to put 18's on my 24 M3P. Michigan roads and 20's with rubber band tires aren't gonna work. I've been looking at Tsportline and found nice ones but I'm not sure how it effects handling/performance.

I got 18s for my 2023 performance from T-sportline. I use them as winter tires.
