Old school monitoring my Tesla Model 3

This triggers either on home arrival and morning. I can also run it by sending a text message on demand The color chips change depending if it falls or goes above a range. The TPMS is an example.

That’s actually dope. Good work!

AsleepEntrepreneur5 2026-02-13 23:24

What’s the device?

MagicJello 2026-02-13 23:33

AsleepEntrepreneur5 2026-02-13 23:39

![gif](giphy|gHbeNdlrDiKo0JTtP8) When I saw the price lol. Yeah looks cool but not worth the money.

colsandersloveskfc 2026-02-13 23:41

I’m sorry what, $3500 for that? Holy shit.

tenchi4u 2026-02-14 00:40

I was looking at a Vestaboard, but I bought an espresso machine instead. 😭

AsleepEntrepreneur5 2026-02-14 00:52

Right!

Mike 2026-02-14 00:58

2020 long range or P?

Enjoy_The_Ride413 2026-02-14 01:56

I love it! That's pretty cool!

Magicfaith129 2026-02-14 02:10

Thank you

Magicfaith129 2026-02-14 02:11

Yeah it’s a pretty penny. There is a smaller board for a little over 1k as well.

HmmDoesItMakeSense 2026-02-14 05:32

Love it!!!!

kolya0099 2026-02-14 06:56

$3500 and it’s that loud?? Otherwise pretty cool! Wish I had some money to burn on that🤣

ragingpotato88 2026-02-14 08:43

If you’re an engineer, you could easily build one

RealWorldJunkie 2026-02-14 12:47

I'm guessing this is via home assistant? Which Tesla integration are you using?

Arias1700 2026-02-14 13:35

Nice. But for $3500 I'll pass.

FamousStore150 2026-02-14 15:50

Very cool but not so cool for $3500. Tessie serves me well.

dragonovus 2026-02-14 16:39

And they look super cheap for 3k honestly

SonicRift91 2026-02-14 16:58

I own one, I’ve had it since about 2021 and it’s not cheap in the slightest. It’s all metal and each set of flaps (they call them “bits”) are individually replaceable. It’s an incredible product, but yeah really expensive. I preordered mine, I don’t think I could justify the price now. I didn’t pay anywhere near that.

OkExplanation2979 2026-02-14 22:54

Overpriced decoration piece looking for disposable income lying about 😁

variablenyne 2026-02-15 06:28

How much did it cost when you preordered?

variablenyne 2026-02-15 06:28

I mean the point is kinda for it to make noise

variablenyne 2026-02-15 06:29

I know that you can get a trove of diagnostics using the Tessie API

kolya0099 2026-02-15 07:34

True, just don’t think it needs to be THAT loud, but that’s just me

codykonior 2026-02-15 08:49

Redacted.

codykonior 2026-02-15 08:49

Redacted.

SonicRift91 2026-02-16 04:09

It was $1,800 I believe? Or probably $1,800 plus shipping, which I remember being quite a bit, so probably $2,000 all in

music-doc 2026-02-16 04:15

Very cool, I’ve wondered what were the capabilities of the vestaboard
