Great car man! What percentage tint do you have on your windows?

Thank you. I did 20% on the windows and 70% on the windshield. Live in Florida. So it needed it

Congrats! I've owned mine for 14 months, and I still look forward to every drive. Best car I've ever owned.

any cons ? never owned a car and I've been thinking of getting a m3, don't really care about self driving specially since its behind a paywall maybe ill try it. I think this car is perfect for me because I don't go out much, my job is like 10-12min away and I don't go out much. Before considering a Tesla I was thinking of a Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Subaru, sedans. I am a fan of the look and features it has, I've heard tires get wore down quick but also depends on how you drive your car. I've done research and watched videos and mostly positive but wanna get it from a user like yourself.

My only complaint would be coming from BMW’s and still having them. The model 3 is loud inside. It’s partially because it’s so quiet that every little noise seems amplified. I’m getting used to it and it wouldn’t be something that deters me from another one.

If the ride becomes too harsh or when it’s time to do any suspension work, replace all the control arms, shocks, springs, bushings with Highland parts.
It’ll ride like a new car.

What’s loud if it has no engine ? Just the battery running ?

Road and wind noise. And I have the good Michelin tires Tesla recommends. Like I said it could be “placebo” affect. As they are now the only noises you hear.

How many miles at purchase?

Yes. Music on at a very low setting helps offset this. I have “noise reduction kit” coming that adds some extra seals on the doors and roof glass. Completely reversible if it doesn’t work. But worth the try. I have also been in 2 friend Teslas. They however sprung for the higher end models. A plaid and a model X. They have better build quality and noise insulation for sure. I’ve also heard the new updated model 3/Y(highland/Juniper) have better noise reduction as well.

I’ve heard the new ones have better build quality.

The 2023 had *excellent* build quality, at least better than 2024, which took a little time to iron out the Highland changes.

Good to know idk if I’ll get the newer model or a used one from previous years I’ll have to think. My area ain’t that busy yea there’s traffic but not heavy compared to other cities. Roads are good job is close by. Did you get it from a Tesla dealer or online ? Don’t have friends that own one so my can’t really test one out… there are a lot of Tesla owners though in my area it’s funny you always get to see one, drove today and in front of me there was a Tesla pretty funny it had a anti Elon sticker and license plate eve ahh with a sticker of Eve from wall -e
