First time using a supercharger. I wish there were more/better games available. This was the only game I recognized.

Suvi2k | 2026-02-11 14:50 | 293 views

Felt like I was a Tesla car meet at the charging station lol. Was pleasantly surprised at fast the charging was. I have always wanted a screen and the ability to play games in the car and being that it’s a standard in Tesla, is great. Just wish there was a bigger game library though. Cuphead is cool. What’s everyone’s favorite game currently available.

I picked up a HDMI Interface that allows me to plug in my steam deck and use that when supercharging, full access to my steam library or at least games that are steam deck verified.

Suvi2k 2026-02-11 14:57

Wait what? This is possible? Googling now!

ArtInternational6485 2026-02-11 15:02

give Stardew valley a shot I think you will enjoy it very much

colsandersloveskfc 2026-02-11 15:04

Ha, yes, it is possible! It doesn't appear to be available yet for Highland and is only available for the legacy Model 3, at least where I picked up mine. This [video](https://youtu.be/-L3A0R8RQ3w) has more details on it and how it was installed, at least in a Model Y.

Rare-Winter3355 2026-02-11 15:04

What? No solitaire??

Suvi2k 2026-02-11 15:05

Alright, thanks 👍🏽

Suvi2k 2026-02-11 15:07

No, that’s so boring! 🥱

IJToday 2026-02-11 15:07

I thought the games would be a good way to pass time at a SC. The reality for me is that the charging is so fast it’s not enough time for me to get into a game, movie, etc.

Suvi2k 2026-02-11 15:09

That’s so true. It hardly took 15 minutes for the range I was looking for. I normally charge at home but had no choice during this trip.

melvladimir 2026-02-11 15:12

I like Sky Force Reloaded)

Suvi2k 2026-02-11 15:13

I’ll check it out. This gives me hope atleast.

Suvi2k 2026-02-11 15:13

Thanks for the recommendation.

SgtSilock 2026-02-11 15:14

Or you could have just used your steam deck lol

InterestsVaryGreatly 2026-02-11 15:19

Cat quest, stardew valley, and polytopia are all solid options.

colsandersloveskfc 2026-02-11 15:20

True, but why not game on a bigger screen when the opportunity exists? I also use it to plug in a Roku to access any streaming program, plus passengers can view content while the vehicle is in motion.

AppleZen36 2026-02-11 15:23

I would if I could sync my steam save

Suvi2k 2026-02-11 15:25

Will give them a try, thanks!

Affectionate_Fun4291 2026-02-11 15:31

Imagine if they added Steam link so you could stream games from your PC library.

Queasy-Bed545 2026-02-11 15:33

Guess this makes me the grumpy old man but it’s wild how we need entertainment for like 20 minutes.

Brave-Ad-5364 2026-02-11 15:33

Are you able to utilize a remote handset like in the picture to control the game? Kids would love that in the back

Ginger_ninja_alex65 2026-02-11 15:34

I wish they would get the App Store up. I’ve heard rumors, but nothing ever happened. I wanna play Minecraft so bad

MagicJello 2026-02-11 15:34

Imagine if you could run steam directly on your Tesla... Oh wait, that was a thing, and they removed it. 😭

Suvi2k 2026-02-11 15:34

Hah why not. I mean it’s also useful for the rear screen (if possible) for passengers too.

Suvi2k 2026-02-11 15:35

Yea the Sony ds4 controller pictured is direct wireless BT connect and play. It works well.

Suvi2k 2026-02-11 15:36

Yea that would be ideal. I could just get a cloud game streaming app. I wish!

Chuy_Dagook 2026-02-11 15:36

The great thing about it is that you don’t need to play the games while you supercharge. I personally like to stare out my front windshield for 20 minutes without blinking

JasonARGY 2026-02-11 15:40

Loved cat quest, simple and easy enough making it perfect for short charging stops. Stardew valley is one of my favorite games but it’s not great in short bursts in my opinion, so I never played it in the car. And doesn’t sync to other devices if you want to continue playing it out of the car.

bequad 2026-02-11 15:44

Does audio over HDMI work?

magicbackpacks 2026-02-11 15:44

Grape Street, Lake Elsinore?

awm071 2026-02-11 15:45

Step outside. Clean the windscreen. 15 push ups, grab some coffe... Charging finished

colsandersloveskfc 2026-02-11 15:45

No, for audio you can either connect your device via bluetooth (which can have audio delays) or use the FM transmitter which is what I use, zero audio delay this way.

tokiobest 2026-02-11 15:46

I’m so late but there’s no added mods for using a PS controller is there?

Suvi2k 2026-02-11 15:48

Oh was it an earlier feature by having a video input in?

Suvi2k 2026-02-11 15:49

Wow, you have a good eye. Thats the one the Tesla took me too!

MagicJello 2026-02-11 15:51

Nah, to be fair I think it was only on the model S and X. But it was built in, you could just open Steam

Substantial_Injury_1 2026-02-11 15:52

Do these have Xbox Game Pass yet?

Suvi2k 2026-02-11 15:52

Haha it does go by pretty fast. Light gaming would be nice though !

Suvi2k 2026-02-11 15:52

No, it just works. I think any Bluetooth controller would work fine.

Suvi2k 2026-02-11 15:54

Ah ok. Yea, I hope they just open up the App Store later.

Suvi2k 2026-02-11 15:54

Man I wish. That or moonlight. Their selection is so limited.

Affectionate_Fun4291 2026-02-11 15:57

That’s really cool! I can see why they removed it though. Maintaining a decent stack of graphics drivers for custom hardware would be a huge $$ sink for Tesla.

Dbyrd92 2026-02-11 15:57

I had a Blast with Cat Quest and the plane one is fun too with controller

Suvi2k 2026-02-11 16:01

I’ll have to try these. Thanks

Substantial_Injury_1 2026-02-11 16:04

Damn, picking one up on Friday (used) so would have been cool.

awm071 2026-02-11 16:05

You are right. But I normally pull up to a Supercharger after 2 to 4 hours behind the wheel. And I definitely need to stretch and exercise and grab coffee then

blk_Gh0st 2026-02-11 16:05

Came here to ask the same. Found out today I could use one

Suvi2k 2026-02-11 16:06

Tesla is really great for so many other reasons related to tech. Congrats and hopefully this would be later added via App Store.

tokiobest 2026-02-11 16:06

Nice thanks. Looks like I’ll be using my old ps4 controllers for something again

Suvi2k 2026-02-11 16:07

Hah exactly what I did too! I found that the very old ones (without light bar) had some issues with directional pad inputs but the updated ones worked fine.

ioa94 2026-02-11 16:17

Aren't you worried about voiding warranty? Seems to me if this bricks your display at all you are completely at the mercy of doing things via the app and voice command, and on the hook to pay whatever Tesla is asking to fix it.

colsandersloveskfc 2026-02-11 16:18

It’s entirely reversible and isn’t a permanent thing, I’m not at all worried about it.

Nt727 2026-02-11 16:19

Usually I do a slow bathroom trip with a little walking around just to check things out and when I get back to the car we are good to go.

ioa94 2026-02-11 16:19

Is it though? I'm just saying, you have no idea what could go wrong, and if it does you're totally boned. Doesn't seem worth the risk IMO, given how important the screen is to the car's functionality.

Suvi2k 2026-02-11 16:21

I haven’t checked yet, but if it’s non invasive like most Tesla electronic mods, it would be fine imo.

colsandersloveskfc 2026-02-11 16:24

If for whatever reason the HDMI Interface fails, I can remove it and route the stock cables back to the MCU. What risk exists here exactly? Think about this, if you have a cable box and a TV is it bad to route the signal from the cable box through an audi receiver and then to the TV? Does that void your TV warranty because you are not using the direct path from the cable box to the tv?

magicbackpacks 2026-02-11 16:27

What are you driving? I wish that I had an S to download steam and play Rocket League.

ioa94 2026-02-11 16:28

This is a little different though isn't it? The cable box is designed to plug into TV's. This is a completely new piece of hardware. Who's to say a resistor doesn't fail and suddenly shock your MCU and now you're out the whole MCU? It's a third party device, so you accept risk. All I'm saying is I don't think the risk is worth it, but you're free to do you.

Suvi2k 2026-02-11 16:28

It’s a model 3 and this is the model 3 forum. :)

MagicJello 2026-02-11 16:28

I could see that being an issue with there custom GPU modules they use. Especially on the older model S/X. But the modern AMD CPU already has drivers being used to play games on Teslas. All they would need to do is add steam back into the new AMD powered cars. Probably not powerful enough to play modern AAA games. But should be more than enough for older games and even new indie games. Teslas OS runs off of Linux, and Steam is a native Linux app, there shouldn't need to be any real work done I would think

printingstuffdude 2026-02-11 16:28

I laughed.

Next_Apartment5786 2026-02-11 16:28

Where did you get those buttons for the AC in the charging port?

istealpixels 2026-02-11 16:30

What hdmi interface did you get?

colsandersloveskfc 2026-02-11 16:31

Best of luck, it's clear this product isnt for you and thats OK.

Suvi2k 2026-02-11 16:32

Ali express. They are physical controls for some features/functionality I find useful and prefer not to use the screen for.

colsandersloveskfc 2026-02-11 16:34

[This one from EV Offer](https://evoffer.com/product/model-3-y-hdmi-interface/?coupon=ADVENTURE20)

istealpixels 2026-02-11 16:35

Thanks!

TurtleCrusher 2026-02-11 16:35

It seems “you have no idea what could go wrong” and it shows.

ioa94 2026-02-11 16:36

It's true, I have no idea what could go wrong. Do you?

[deleted] 2026-02-11 16:36

Cuphead is a good game, but a major time drag. Super hard for what it is.

Suvi2k 2026-02-11 16:53

Yea very challenging, I really like that aspect of the game.

blonktime 2026-02-11 16:54

While Stardew Valley is a great game, it's kind of a game you need to sink a good amount of time into to get anywhere. Like others have mentioned, when charging at Superchargers, I "don't have enough time" to spend any meaningful time on a game. I fear OP will get addicted to Stardew Valley and end up spending a lot of time just sitting in their car at home playing it lol.

hotboinick 2026-02-11 16:56

I usually open the YouTube games as well

Legitimate-Space-279 2026-02-11 16:56

Back in the day I’d play games a lot, driving one and the fighter jet shooting one. Now I just watch YouTube for 10 mins. I desperately wish they had super smash or other well known titles. The games they have are like 80’s arcade games.

Suvi2k 2026-02-11 16:57

Haven’t tried that, is that some type of cloud gaming as well?

Suvi2k 2026-02-11 16:58

Exactly my sentiment on this topic!

hotboinick 2026-02-11 16:59

lol yeah they are, but at least you’re not just stuck with the same 8 Tesla gaming options

hotboinick 2026-02-11 17:00

Nope, just open the YouTube app through your screen and find their gaming section. They’re pretty much arcade/phone app type of games like someone else mentioned, but at least you’re not stuck with just the Tesla games.

Suvi2k 2026-02-11 17:01

Thanks for the tip, I plan to explore what’s available there. Sounds similar to cloud gaming though tbh

ArtInternational6485 2026-02-11 17:04

I 100% agree but if someone doesn't recognize stardew I have to recommend it

Cynocius 2026-02-11 17:08

Wish that was still a thing. They removed it from new vehicles in 2024.

sparkyblaster 2026-02-11 17:09

Its rediculus they gave up on steam. Mostly because I think they still have to support it for the cars they did sell with it.  The lower end APU set ups totally could have run the games too. Not well, but well enough.

sparkyblaster 2026-02-11 17:10

Yeah, its about a tv episode.

Suvi2k 2026-02-11 17:11

They don’t really need steam specifically honestly, just any cloud stream app (Luna, Xbox game pass, NVIDIA etc) would be great and have no hardware issues with any existing cars.

KiIIer__Queen 2026-02-11 17:11

I have a 2019 M3, can I do this too? Also I didn’t know you guys got extra buttons on the steering wheel

Suvi2k 2026-02-11 17:13

I think so and not sure about the steering wheel buttons since I didn’t own a pre Highland. I thought it was just removing the stalks and replacing with buttons for turn signals. Maybe more 🤷

sparkyblaster 2026-02-11 17:13

Yeah, all the and cars should handle it jusy fine. Maybe lower settings but I can tell you I have used much lower speced systems to run stream games.  And no real work, they already did it.  I think the issue might be valve. Google also removed it from Chromebooks. Essentially the same system Tesla used.  Its a surprise given how much progress valve has made with it all. Maybe this has to do with their new steam machine etc. Valve wanting to hold things a bit closer. Or maybe Elons politics has soured the relationship.

Chuy_Dagook 2026-02-11 17:13

Thank you, this boosted my confidence

KiIIer__Queen 2026-02-11 17:16

That’s cool, I didn’t know that. I would love to get an upgraded Tesla one day but I just currently can’t afford it. Atleast I have my FSD 🥲

ackillesBAC 2026-02-11 17:17

You can play YouTube games on there as well

Suvi2k 2026-02-11 17:18

Hope so too, it’s a great car but probably not way different than the earlier models. I don’t have fsd but tried it on the free month and it worked well. I like the subscription model honestly so I can just get it when I need it. I don’t see myself using it frequently.

KiIIer__Queen 2026-02-11 17:20

Do you have the performance? And you mentioned you hadn’t had any other Tesla before. I’m just curious if you think getting the upgrades was worth it

quetiapinenapper 2026-02-11 17:21

Side note I think you can run gamepass via the browser can’t you? Haven’t tried. Might be a better option. Poor stadia would have been perfect for it.

Suvi2k 2026-02-11 17:24

Yea someone just informed me of this. Not really sure the library will be modern but atleast it expands our choices!

Suvi2k 2026-02-11 17:25

I would have preferred moonlight and don’t think/know if it’s possible even through a browser. Will have to try it out sometime.

Suvi2k 2026-02-11 17:27

Nope, mine is a LR AWD. I love it but that’s comparing to a ICE car directly and not another Tesla. I like the performance too but it wasn’t worth the cost difference for me personally. Tbh, I really liked how the new model 3 looked in general over older models.

whoooooooooooooooa 2026-02-11 17:38

Wha controllers work with M3?

Suvi2k 2026-02-11 17:46

I think any Bluetooth controller would work fine. There is a ds4 controller paired here and it’s perfect.

ExuberanceOfSlfImprt 2026-02-11 17:47

A quick YouTube video and I am off with more than enough usually. Sometimes I actually charge longer just to finish what I started

Scotty1928 2026-02-11 18:03

It's my Coffee Break, combined with such a walk

drunken_phoenix 2026-02-11 18:06

Damn that’d be so dope

drunken_phoenix 2026-02-11 18:07

I’d just consider a portable gaming device if you’re looking to game while charging.

_extra_medium_ 2026-02-11 18:09

Because it costs as much as the steam deck

KiIIer__Queen 2026-02-11 18:12

Twins! I also have the LR AWD. So I used to be into rally cars and stuff and I had a built Subaru WRX. My trans and engine both went out and I had to replace them. Then the fuel lines and then more stuff. I hit my limit right then and there. Sold the Subaru and went EV. Never looking back now lol

Suvi2k 2026-02-11 18:16

Hah I hear that but it’s too little time to tell. Based on other Tesla owner testimonies, maintenance seems to be non existent beyond tires on these cars which is promising. Love subies and a huge JDM fan in general (Lexus RCF, Mazda ND2 and Type R owner also). I feel like I couldn’t help but mod this car in a similar styling aesthetic because of it too hah!

Armoredpolecat 2026-02-11 18:24

Sky force reloaded is also decent 🤷‍♂️

fopoku2k2 2026-02-11 18:25

How easy was it to connect that ps4 controller?

fopoku2k2 2026-02-11 18:25

Did you mean to type ps4?

Mike 2026-02-11 18:37

I wish I could just delete all the games and use that storage space for something else. They’re just a gimmick for 99% of people and so Tesla can say “look how cool our cars are they have GAMES!”. Most people don’t give a shit about that.

Suvi2k 2026-02-11 18:38

What would you use the storage for? I’ve seen no need/reason to use any storage at all for anything personal anyway in a car. Sentry uses an external drive which is optimal also.

Suvi2k 2026-02-11 18:39

Very easy. Just go to blue tooth settings in the car and search for devices. Set any blue tooth controller to pairing mode. Confirm and done. Same as pretty much any other device.

Suvi2k 2026-02-11 18:40

No, ds4 means dual shock 4 but yea it’s the same all things considered except that this controller is compatible with many other devices outside of just a PlayStation 4.

Pliskin01 2026-02-11 18:42

Oh joyous day when someone finds stardew valley. Please give it a shot, OP

gentlehurricane 2026-02-11 18:42

So we’re just making up what ifs for fun, orrr?

Suvi2k 2026-02-11 18:43

A couple others mentioned it, I’ll def have to try it out.

Pliskin01 2026-02-11 18:46

I’ve got a 2019 as well and ya you’ve been able to play games for years. Click the toybox and also read your manual. It’s in your phone app haha The extra capacitive buttons are highland-only

ioa94 2026-02-11 18:47

I mean, if you want to take a multi thousand dollar gamble on your car, that's your call.

Subconciously 2026-02-11 18:55

Yeah I hope they add Call of Duty soon

CAMMARMANN 2026-02-11 19:03

Sky force also rules

Servovestri 2026-02-11 19:07

Vampire Hunters is the choice onboard game. Cuphead is solid with a controller though.

JCLAPP01 2026-02-11 19:08

Was it a difficult set up?

Suvi2k 2026-02-11 19:09

Yea any AAA game or stream would be pretty epic.

Suvi2k 2026-02-11 19:09

Someone else here recommended that, going on my list to try.

Suvi2k 2026-02-11 19:10

Yea cuphead is one I remember from switch and pc. Never tried the others but will give vampire hunters a thought now too.

colsandersloveskfc 2026-02-11 19:27

It’s all plug and play, not hard at all

NotAnAIOrAmI 2026-02-11 20:14

Excellent game for inducing road rage.

Suvi2k 2026-02-11 20:23

😂 def not beginner friendly like the car is!

Ataiatek 2026-02-11 20:31

It's my favorite part of winter is that you get there and the charging is actually like an hour and you can just sit and chill. I know it's not everyone's objective but I really like the fact that I can just sit and chill in my car and I have an excuse to do nothing. I charged yesterday, And because it was warm my car charged to 100% in like 30 minutes and I was like so mad because I was expecting to sit down and actually have a good like writing session on my laptop. 😭

Single-Tomatillo4502 2026-02-11 20:34

How do you have those buttons at the bottom of the charger

BangBang-LibraGang 2026-02-11 20:44

What happens to Steam or Xbox options? BTW what controller is that.. I have PS4 controller and can't connect it

MrMythiiK 2026-02-11 20:50

Stardew valley is incredible. I’m a “hardcore gamer (cringe)” and I have two 100hr play throughs and another 50hr play through. It’s a lot deeper than it seems on the surface. That said, not really a supercharger-style game unless you want to just do a day or two at a time.

Suvi2k 2026-02-11 20:55

It’s an aftermarket accessory with hidden cables that controls factory Tesla functions by a non invasive install through the port on the passenger side.

Suvi2k 2026-02-11 20:55

It’s DS4 controller which is native to PS4 and it pairs fine with Tesla or any other devices I’ve tried so far. Are you sure you are pairing the device properly?

Suvi2k 2026-02-11 20:56

Yea I had quite a few recommend this game and may try it on a console or pc at home at some point. Thanks for the engagement and recommendation.

skankboy 2026-02-11 21:01

Those are cool. I'd have one but the glove box button bypasses the need for a PIN.

hugswithnoconsent 2026-02-11 21:18

Dude poly goes hard.

Aromatic-Experience9 2026-02-11 21:21

You should straighten your wheels when you park

Suvi2k 2026-02-11 21:27

I don’t use a pin and this one doesn’t bypass or modify anything that factory controls would do.

skankboy 2026-02-11 21:30

Have you tried to setup a pin and then press the button to open the glove box?

Suvi2k 2026-02-11 21:37

No one was near me and I had trouble initially backing into the spot at the right distance from the charger so I just left it like that. Not a big deal but good observation lol

Suvi2k 2026-02-11 21:38

Nope but I will now that you mention it. Seems like a useful tool for locking items. I guess what I meant by bypassing is that it works the exact same way it would oem. Like for example, driving and pressing open trunk or frunk or door won’t do anything unless in park.

skankboy 2026-02-11 21:41

Please report back. I sent back a different style because it did bypass the pin. Thanks!

[deleted] 2026-02-11 21:48

There is an additional 30:games, including Tetris if all wankers are going to pay additional 5k, for 7 years...

UnifyTheVoid 2026-02-11 21:50

There is an app store coming?

Jimmy_Durango 2026-02-11 21:57

It’s really the only good game. I just wish it had an account so you can pick up where you left off between your car, your phone, or any other device that plays it.

Jimmy_Durango 2026-02-11 21:57

Don’t hold your breath.

ackillesBAC 2026-02-11 22:03

Yeah they're not great games on there, it's a decent collection of quick time killers

Ginger_ninja_alex65 2026-02-11 22:08

There were rumors, and some code that suggested it, but it’s not official and likely not soon

chimelime 2026-02-11 22:42

lmao exactly.

Suvi2k 2026-02-11 22:48

Def a good use of the infotainment system. Love how seamless it is to use for YouTube especially too.

Suvi2k 2026-02-11 22:48

👍🏽

ExuberanceOfSlfImprt 2026-02-11 22:52

Its a browser session so you can watch youtube free movies found that out yesterday

Slobelisk 2026-02-11 23:06

Pretty much. My wife and I usually just throw on an episode of Futurama, and sometimes we don't even make it through the whole episode lol

Suvi2k 2026-02-11 23:08

Doesn’t the normal YouTube app do it also? I haven’t tried but assumed it did.

Redrix_ 2026-02-11 23:10

The charging doesn't really take long enough to need any movies or games tbh

Suvi2k 2026-02-11 23:24

Agreed but a short 15-30 min time pass via game is still pretty nice to have.

NotAnAIOrAmI 2026-02-12 00:27

I have a Model 3. "Beginner friendly" is waaaay down the list of phrases I would use to describe it.

IceBlueLugia 2026-02-12 00:39

You haven’t heard of Stardew Valley?

[deleted] 2026-02-12 00:39

IceBlueLugia 2026-02-12 00:40

How long was the setup and does this void your warranty? Also does it work on Highland Model 3?

Suvi2k 2026-02-12 00:40

I have now after posting this but no, hadn’t played it in the past.

colsandersloveskfc 2026-02-12 00:48

Setup was under an hour, took longer since I did some custom wiring to move the fm transmitter to the center console vs down by the passenger footwell. Not yet compatible with highland, but according to their website it will soon

IceBlueLugia 2026-02-12 00:49

Appreciate it, thank you

gErMaNySuFfErS 2026-02-12 00:58

Why the heck is this $500

colsandersloveskfc 2026-02-12 01:01

It’s like $350 with a discount code

Acm0045 2026-02-12 01:05

Sky Force Reloaded is a shooter up. It's quick too! When I finally beat it, I felt like a kid again.

jchin913 2026-02-12 01:10

Did you put red tape on your steering wheel?

NotAnAIOrAmI 2026-02-12 01:12

Been driving over 40 years. Don't try to claim it's my lack of experience. Pushing nearly all the functions onto a menu tree on a touchscreen instead of a well designed set of physical controls is NOT beginner friendly. Maybe it's a little better designed now than it was in 2018. My wife drives the Model 3, and she's comfortable with the controls - after years of practice. My Ioniq 5 controls are much better designed, with a decent mix of physical and also some dedicated touch screen controls.

Remarkable-Owl-5712 2026-02-12 01:16

polytopia!! an easy way to blow 2 hours.

Suvi2k 2026-02-12 01:27

Im a huge fan of shoot em ups. Giga wing is one of my favs. This is one I’ll def play! Thanks.

Suvi2k 2026-02-12 01:31

It’s actually a vinyl pin stripe I had laying around. I was surprised how it ended up looking better and more natural than I expected so I just kept it.

Either-Weather4052 2026-02-12 01:35

My two favorite games to play while charging are Sky Force and Vampire Survivors. Or I just watch something on YouTube

Suvi2k 2026-02-12 01:35

Thanks for the recommendation. I saw this come up a few times in here as well along with sky force and star dew.

Acm0045 2026-02-12 01:40

Thanks for the Giga Wing suggestion. Raiden was my arcade go to. I'll be looking to play that soon. Sky Force is definitely replayable because of the stars system and playing with different ship yield different results. I've even hated finishing charge sessions because I didn't yield the results I wanted on the game.

NotAnAIOrAmI 2026-02-12 01:42

>Technology is certainly more challenging for some more than others so don’t take my comment personally.  Dude, my career is technology, 30 years of it, including enterprise software functional and UI design. Stop trying to insult me. The single touchscreen with multiple trees of controls for essential functions is just not as easy to get used to as a well laid out mix of physical and virtual controls. Not sure why you're insisting on something that's patently false. I guess you're emotionally invested in your car. That's okay, some of us are more emotionally attached to objects than others. Don't take that personally, though.

Suvi2k 2026-02-12 01:43

I’m most likely going to try to play it on pc if it’s available as a time pass. You will enjoy giga wing but it’s a little different than most shoot em ups with just power ups. You will understand what I mean after playing it. Capcom published it so it’s pretty nice.

NotAnAIOrAmI 2026-02-12 02:02

>but a little more educated and experienced in other areas as well. How would you know that? You wouldn't. You're so full of yourself you can't have a normal conversation, or admit when you're wrong. As for the rest of the self-congratulating nonsense in your comment, whatever it is, it went unread. The ego on you, holy shit.

Intelligent-Ebb-8593 2026-02-12 02:27

Vampire Survivors is a solid game to pass the time for me, I connect my DS4 and I cannot stop playing even after my charge is done

Suvi2k 2026-02-12 02:32

Is it anything like castlevania because that was one of my favorite games back when it was still 2D.

Suvi2k 2026-02-12 02:46

You are right for the most part but if you have a favorite game in the list, I’d love to know.

Suvi2k 2026-02-12 03:05

Mine is a 2025 and it’s still there. Pretty sure all highlands have it.

Suvi2k 2026-02-12 03:12

I’m hearing the same from others. Will have to eventually try this one out.

Suvi2k 2026-02-12 03:13

What you talking about Willis? 5K for what?

Open_Intern_643 2026-02-12 04:01

If you really want to game in your car, you want a model S or X that’s steam capable. It’s really cool but I find it’s not worth the hassle

Dangerwolf1979 2026-02-12 04:07

Vampire survivors is life

Suvi2k 2026-02-12 04:16

Yea just found out it’s a standard feature in a S and X. It’s not worth the upgrade for this. Tesla could just open up the App Store and I’ll settle for what they have until then hah.

Malacasts 2026-02-12 04:36

I just get out and stretch on my long journeys.

Therealwidebar 2026-02-12 04:50

They need to put hearthstone

Suvi2k 2026-02-12 05:14

Better or similar to castlevania?

SheldonPlankton 2026-02-12 06:23

Downloaded it on a whim on my switch December 26th, 2025 while my flight was delayed. I now have almost 90 hours on it 😂

digbicwigkick 2026-02-12 07:03

I play xcloud 😅

strawhatguy 2026-02-12 07:15

Back when I supercharged a bunch, I’d usually get up and walk around. No way am I staying in the car. A couple of times my wife and I had a nice meal and when it was done we were done. It was great. But the best time charging ever was just a level 2 charger the mall would charge $ to use. Didn’t really need to use it, But it came in so handy during Christmas season when the mall was *packed*, served as a nice parking spot. Totally worth the fee to charge a little and have a nice open spot. These days so many people have EVs now it’s just not as special as it once was, and charging areas seem more packed.

strawhatguy 2026-02-12 07:17

Oh and sky force reloaded is good 👍

TheyThinkImAddicted 2026-02-12 07:42

Wait so if I get this people can watch movies while I drive? Just got my model y 2024.

TheyThinkImAddicted 2026-02-12 07:44

WE WANT OSRS THAT WOULD BE INSANE

jaturnley 2026-02-12 07:49

That's what testube.tv and Plex are for. Just enough time for an episode of anime.

Hot_Check_5123 2026-02-12 08:17

I'm in the red controller club too.

HistoricalHurry8361 2026-02-12 09:35

I enjoyed fallout shelter for a bit but then it became really tedious. I usually listen to podcasts when I drive so I’ll watch the videos if available while parked

lordstryfe 2026-02-12 10:44

I play the hell out of Fallout Shelter and Stardew Valley.

MRBoose39 2026-02-12 11:04

Sweet.

Pospitch 2026-02-12 11:41

Why did I have to scroll so far for this? That's like the best game there.

Jhat 2026-02-12 12:39

I just do Sudoku. Never fails to occupy my super charging time.

colsandersloveskfc 2026-02-12 12:46

I will say passengers can watch, I am not saying the driver should but media can play while the vehicle is in motion.

keno888 2026-02-12 12:53

If you have it, Vampire Survivors is GOAT.

Suvi2k 2026-02-12 12:54

That’s a nice message. It’s still new for some people though :) I usually charge at home for convenience and cost.

Suvi2k 2026-02-12 12:55

What’s osrs?

Suvi2k 2026-02-12 12:55

I would love plex but the standalone app, not a browser search.

Suvi2k 2026-02-12 12:56

Hah do you have an ultra red M3 also?

Suvi2k 2026-02-12 12:58

That’s cool. I wish I could play fighting games online personally.

Suvi2k 2026-02-12 12:58

I do have it but haven’t tried yet. Is it anything like castlevania?

tithonus76 2026-02-12 13:23

Just because you don't recognize it, doesn't mean it isn't great. Vampire Survivors all day.

Suvi2k 2026-02-12 13:25

Never said there wasn’t great choices just rather that it is limited. I got this feedback about this game from others and plan to try eventually.

IamFireDragon3d 2026-02-12 13:46

I would love my steam library to be accessible on my tesla for when I’m waiting for my kids or at superchargers.

Suvi2k 2026-02-12 13:49

Heck ya, would be awesome for passengers and long road trips. They should’ve of included an hdmi input for the rear screen imo

jondrey 2026-02-12 14:08

What more would you need? Cuphead is amazing

Suvi2k 2026-02-12 14:09

Haha true. Just beat it already and was looking for something new.

Aromatic-Experience9 2026-02-12 14:34

Haha I get it. What I meant is that some people tend to regularly park their cars like this. Overtime it will cause issues with your cars wheel alignment, so therefore it’s better to make it a habit to always park with straight wheels.

TheyThinkImAddicted 2026-02-12 14:35

Old school RuneScape

PugMaster007 2026-02-12 15:05

What is that on your lower console, under the screen. It looks like a row of screen options (seats, hazards etc.)

Suvi2k 2026-02-12 15:07

That is a physical control button module for door open, seat movement, glove box, trunk and frunk.

keno888 2026-02-12 15:12

It's a bullet hell in the style of castlevania so it's more like geometry wars from back in the day or any arcade shooter where you have to survive waves of enemies with increasingly absurd power ups.

IamFireDragon3d 2026-02-12 15:17

Hdmi input would’ve perfect just plug in the steam deck. No stress on cars computer.

Suvi2k 2026-02-12 15:31

That or use a cloud streaming app which would be easier to deploy and less stressful.

Mikey_likes_it- 2026-02-12 15:51

I have a regular business trip where I drive out 200 miles from home. On the way out I have a full charge from the house so I just stop to pee usually once and top off while I'm inside. On the way home I need to charge up a bit to get to my normal pee stop, so I usually grab dinner and then go to a charger and eat while charging and watching something. From 20% or so to 80% goes so fast I can barely or rarely finish eating and almost never finish an episode of anything.

Decox653 2026-02-12 16:00

I wish they didn’t remove Steam from my car… So much potential lost

bluaugust 2026-02-12 18:12

You can also play games on YouTube. I wish they allowed you to play Gamepass games or Netflix games, since Netflix is already integrated

Suvi2k 2026-02-12 18:51

Gamepass isn’t an app and I’d like to avoid using the browser. I didn’t think about Netflix though, and will have to explore that sometime. Thanks!

UnevenPants 2026-02-12 20:35

Play Vampire Survivors on it, it’s super addicting.

Acceptable_Bass1031 2026-02-12 20:57

Nice

Only_Indication8410 2026-02-12 21:17

I’m guessing you have a PS5 based on your controller. Setup remote play and use your phone, that’s what I do. You can also go for a walk, we are allowed to leave our cars while charging

Suvi2k 2026-02-12 21:23

It’s a ds4 controller which is for ps4.

Intelligent-Ebb-8593 2026-02-12 22:24

Not really, u walk on maps from top down view and there are endless monster waves until the timer runs out, u gain exp from these monsters and gain new weapons and such. It's not a story-related game but it's a good time passer. I suggest you give it a chance

Small-Acanthaceae-19 2026-02-12 22:38

Do Xbox cloud gaming games run pretty smoothly

Suvi2k 2026-02-12 23:04

There’s no native Xbox gaming app that I’m aware of so no.

Small-Acanthaceae-19 2026-02-12 23:05

I run it in my car and it’s been fine for months. . . So your loss 😂😂😂

WarningWonderful5264 2026-02-12 23:39

I got hooked on Stardew and fallout shelter. So much fun!

amhudson02 2026-02-13 00:58

I want GeForce Now or some sort of Steam Link that I can just stream my games ot the car. I think some models had Steam on them at one point.

Suvi2k 2026-02-13 01:34

Why are you laughing lol? Why don’t you share how you do it natively via an app on a model 3 if you have one. Are you talking about using a browser? Yea thats not something I would prefer.

Suvi2k 2026-02-13 01:35

👍🏽 I think star dew was recommended more than any other game here.

Suvi2k 2026-02-13 01:40

Yea same here. 🤞

Pretty-Mongoose508 2026-02-13 05:07

I wish they would get COD mobile or something like that no graphic but a good time burner

kolya0099 2026-02-13 06:30

They needa bring back steam link

Free-Cheesecake-6811 2026-02-13 07:27

Curious about your buttons on the wireless charger I quite like the look where did you find them?

Busy-Neighborhood159 2026-02-13 13:07

Oh you sync Bluetooth on your ps controller?

Only_Indication8410 2026-02-13 13:49

I don’t precondition before I get to a SC so I have a little more time to do shit like that

Suvi2k 2026-02-13 14:06

They are aftermarket and available from many sellers. I got mine from Ali express.

Suvi2k 2026-02-13 14:08

Yup

Hot_Check_5123 2026-02-13 14:24

Unfortunately, I'm in the 'white goods' category of car.

SPX2BLU 2026-02-14 07:02

Don’t sleep on vampire survivors if you have it. Game is addictive and deep.

Anontv1 2026-02-14 13:28

Same

ModQuad1979 2026-02-14 16:47

If you don't recognize Stardew Valley, you're missing out. One of the best-selling games of all time, and I play it in my car all the time.

RydogElite 2026-02-14 22:37

What are those buttons you have at the bottom of the phone chargers?

Suvi2k 2026-02-14 23:18

Haptic physical controls for doors, glovebox, hazards and seats.

Kitchen_Bed_5993 2026-02-15 16:12

Too efficient, gotta waste some charging so I can enjoy my charging.

neyj_ 2026-02-16 00:43

Me I thought I would be gaming at superchargers and watching movies turns out I barely have enough time to grab some food from Wawa and pop on a video before it’s time to head back out 😂

jaturnley 2026-02-16 17:35

The standalone app would be great, but the browser works perfectly. Load up Testube from favorites, click the full screen button, and click Plex. It's like three extra screen taps. Jellyfin works great too, as do the web apps for most streaming services. The most annoying part is actually the wireless connection the car has is pretty hit and miss. I have my phone set up as a hotspot I can turn on in case the AT&T service is crap.

Suvi2k 2026-02-16 18:01

Yea I can imagine since it’s all driven by network at that point. Does plex offer gaming services or did you mention that for movies and such? I do plan to try the browser out eventually and see what services work some time since it appears to be the only option.

Suvi2k 2026-02-28 09:05

Finally got around to checking this and it does the same thing you described. I don’t really use the glove box due to limited space but understand/agree that the functionality would be better for some people if it worked that way. I wouldn’t count on it happening either though. Must be a technical limitation because it’s a basic feature that all the companies, involved in the tech with, must have been aware of since the OG M3.

skankboy 2026-02-28 13:44

Thanks for reporting back.
