Honestly might be wisest to get the fake leather wet wet with armor all and wipe it and let it soften and dry

Plastic generally tends to have some ‘memory’ and return to its original shape when warm. This can be seen with vinyl wraps, bumpers, etc.
With these seats being plastic rather than leather, I’d recommend gently warming up that area with a hair dryer (not letting it get too hot to the touch, and not using a heat gun), then massaging it to try to get it to return to its original shape. Especially if it’s winter and cold where you live, this would help both the plastic leatherette and the foam (also technically plastic) inside the seat return to shape.

I will give it a try once the temperature increases a bit, -5 degrees C right now in my area.

Dang. I wonder if a seat cover under the child seat would’ve helped. I have an M3P on order and now I’m anxious about installing a child seat in it

I had a seat cover under the child seat that did not help at all as those covers don't usually cover also the isofix zone.

This is why. Just let it sit and wait for warmer weather and it will likely go away on its own.

I’ve never not had marks come out of my car. Had a heavy box leave indented marks for 2-3 months but they re expanded.

Definitely wait for warmer weather! It should go away on its own.
Turn the cars heat on for an hour or two with the rear seat heat if you’re really paranoid.

Your child will likely cause way more "damage" than that in the long term.

You want a cover anyways. Just for the crumbs.

This is what to expext from all cars. I never had a car, where using isofix didn't leave the seats like that, and I have had premium cars.
