Looks like water ingress. Check for leaks under the hood and other signs.

yeah same here, horn rusted out, the frunk outside of the tub was never meant to be waterproof but i didn't think the horn would be rusted. never had a horn break on me before neither. also installed third party ones, will see how it goes.

I've had horns fail in plenty of other brands before, what are we crying about here? Your car got water on it some how, figure why and fix it so your horn doesn't fail again.

What shitty brand do you keep buying for your horn to keep braking for God's sake? Until my Model 3, my cars were all Japanese brands and I've NEVER had a broken horn before.

I had a horn fail in my old 1995 Mitsubishi Mirage, which was fun because I could just beat on the horn like a drum when I got really into a song. I don’t know how that thing passed PA inspection, I had to turn off the A/C to get enough power to go up steep grades lol

Had the same issue and swapped it out with an aftermarket horn. It’s accessible from the driver’s side wheel well in my 2020 Model 3. First part that needed replacement aside from cabin air filters.

I've had over 30+ cars from all the makers you could think of, luxury or not, this is not an impossible problem, relax.
