Drive it.
Sweet! Congrats!!
Thanks!
I’ll be buying a Performance for my second one. The red is sharp!
Congrats! Enjoy the Ride!
Thanks! Username also checks out
When I first got mine I sat in the car for an hour or so just going through every menu item to configure it as I wanted it. I'd recommend something similar as the descriptions are pretty clear. As for a hidden thing, if you're on your phone you can send an address to the Tesla app (say, using the Maps app) and then it will have that address ready for navigation the next time you drive the car. Good luck and enjoy!
Heh, looks just like my first Tesla, which I got last week :) Kind of a learning curve but all in all a sweet little ride.
Go big or go home! Congrats!
Tips: read the manual! - signed someone who brought their first one home two days ago lol
Prepare for the bird flips.
Looks great, are you going to do anything to it? Btw what size are those wheels?
Amazing the number of things that can be done with voice commands. “My feet are cold.”
Watch out for potholes with those 20s
20”
I thought so. 👍🏽
Buy 245s when you replace tires
Looking good!
back in 2022, I also went with team red on my M3LR still to this day, an awesome ride. Congratulations to you for joining the club!
Looks great. Is that a Performance?
Congratz! I hope to join the club soon. Can't wait.
😂😂
Firstly, what year is your car? That can change what features are available to you (example: in September 2019 model 3 got the PWS outward speaker for things like boombox, custom horns, and reversing sounds)
Yea no kidding
2023 M3P
Why would you say so?
Oh okay, cool! As some have pointed out, just going thru all the settings and the manual you’ll learn the most. One thing that’s great that’s often overlooked is you can share an address or business from Apple Maps/Google Maps to your car and it’ll update the GPS immediately, same goes with YouTube videos if you’re parked, it’ll open the YouTube app to the video
Larger tire selection because the sidewall is a bit taller. And with that, it's a bit softer of a ride, and you get a bit more grip with a wider tire. And a bit more protection for the rim, if you're incapable of dodging pot holes.
Congrats !
Thanks, but in that case would you also need to change the rims?
Sure is!
No, you do not. In fact 235s are actually stretched on that rim. I have 255s on mine and they fit just fine. I have a post about them.
2022 M3P IDENTICAL TO YOURS, just hit 124k miles NEVER BEEN INTO ANY SERVICE CENTER! Still original brakes just new wipers and tires with the occasional top off with wiper fluid!! If you can I’d recommend lvl 2 charging if possible and only supercharging for long road trips!!
Rad
Congrats!!!
Lady in red, she’s gorgeous. What did you name her? I’m on my 2nd Red Model 3 Performance. Here’s a tip if you keep your wipers on automatic and there is a huge snow accumulation, when you step on the brake the wipers will start moving, I’ve bent two wiper arms, this last storm I figured out how.
Get rim guards
Wow that's interesting, would you switch all 4 tires to 245? I suppose the consumption increases significantly by the way
Tint your windows
Yes I would, that way you can rotate them. Which, don't forget to do that every 8k or so. The consumption increase is so negligible that unless you like to hypermile, you won't notice it.
Also, do yourself. Clean out the radiator (there are plenty of videos on how to do it or get Tesla to do it for you) and get something like this [https://www.amazon.com/PSLER-Front-Bumper-Grill-Mesh/dp/B0CTCPX6XS/ref=sr\_1\_15?crid=1B1OR53RW2AS7&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.GuH-6J1pz0u\_BCrQhiUq3BkTgtRzBGfHVU-aE1uMiQHIXDVxFydHg6Gqu7QXPlj\_-LaR9wemHqHN\_FE6RG-Z867uCmgoYW5Yj-jBav8Shk5DNBvQVjwiPA8x5sK2UfDciFDWav1uRlJVmMe--m9Ld0KpE4sqNOsXsEvVb\_8YUb7HVBnzVoCkyuzOXJhmEMArom03zuyctzB2JZCq5BMvHQIlevEGdBcdPMF7s3-ISa0.YMyxbfqVmu41fGM5TSg9VVBxmHna4snkNUGLb-uu48s&dib\_tag=se&keywords=model+3+grill+mesh&qid=1770300656&sprefix=model+3+gri%2Caps%2C118&sr=8-15](https://www.amazon.com/PSLER-Front-Bumper-Grill-Mesh/dp/B0CTCPX6XS/ref=sr_1_15?crid=1B1OR53RW2AS7&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.GuH-6J1pz0u_BCrQhiUq3BkTgtRzBGfHVU-aE1uMiQHIXDVxFydHg6Gqu7QXPlj_-LaR9wemHqHN_FE6RG-Z867uCmgoYW5Yj-jBav8Shk5DNBvQVjwiPA8x5sK2UfDciFDWav1uRlJVmMe--m9Ld0KpE4sqNOsXsEvVb_8YUb7HVBnzVoCkyuzOXJhmEMArom03zuyctzB2JZCq5BMvHQIlevEGdBcdPMF7s3-ISa0.YMyxbfqVmu41fGM5TSg9VVBxmHna4snkNUGLb-uu48s&dib_tag=se&keywords=model+3+grill+mesh&qid=1770300656&sprefix=model+3+gri%2Caps%2C118&sr=8-15)
Thanks! I've already tried to clean the radiator, but I've not removed it. Do you think that front grill is better than the original one?
It just goes on top of the original one and adds a mesh so you don't get leafs and such going in there.
Thank you I didn't think it would go on top of the original one. I thought you needed to replace it 👍
Congratulations and you will love it!!
Cracked my first one a few weeks ago T-T
i am on my second tesla this one being the model 3 performance but i always recommend front end PPF along with hood and mirror protection. I see you got the white stuff there like i do so it does help keep your car chip free for the high impact areas from highway driving. if you dont want to have a shop install it there is always do it your self ppf kits with front and mirrors separate options. Anyway, that is a beautiful color and enjoy the car!
Throw some 18s on it
