2025 AWD - hopefully picking up tomorrow

teslainutah | 2026-01-28 21:31 | 267 views

It has been 3 years, 1 month, and 19 days since I sold my old Tesla Model 3. Stoked to be back in the fold! Picking up this 2025 AWD tomorrow. Any accessories or anything you guys consider necessary to snag, please let me know. On my last one I had floor mats and a screen protector. Don't know if the screen protector is really that necessary though.

Congrats! It’s beautiful. I’m still driving my 2019 M3, but the new body style has tempted me to trade in. Looks great!

EV Auto 😂

Matte screen protector was nice but not necessary. I had one from spigen; Wife cracked the screen protector just brushing it as she took her phone from the charging pad. She’s done it to the bare screen and it doesn’t leave a mark. They’re a lot tougher than we think and while most good screens won’t degrade the usability there have been horror stories of phantom touches changing settings.

Do you not like EV Auto or why the laughing emoji?

The owner Alex is pretty famous on Tik Tok/Social Media. Nothing wrong with the business. They just have brilliant marketing. You’re in good hands!

Thanks! Yeah I met Alex last night. I have followed him on Instagram for a while. My buddy has bought 3 cars from him and another friend picked up a Model X from him a few months ago.

Why did you sell the old one?

PugMaster007 2026-01-29 14:24

Congratulations..

I bought it at a time when I was a little too strapped for money. I had ordered it 5 months earlier so decided to just go for it. I only had it a few months and decided I needed to dump it due to to cost. I was lucky because at the time, they were holding their value and their was a long wait time so I was able to sell it without taking a huge loss. Few years have gone by and I am now almost debt free and decided it is fine to spoil myself a little bit. Do I need it, no. But life is too short to not have a few simple pleasures.

What EV auto dealer is this at? Looks sharp!

It is the location in Bountiful, Utah. Super nice location etc.

You are a prior owner, I’m sure you can find out what accessories to get.

It is comments like this that I simply don't understand. This is a public forum of enthusiasts that simply like to help one another out. Yes, as a prior owner, I could "find out what accessories to get." However, it has been a few years and maybe some more have come out. Now, you would probably respond, "you have google, don't you?" Again, yes I could just google search what is available. Yet, wouldn't it be more fun to poll a group of like-minded individuals who own a similar car who have experienced pros and cons of different accessories?
