taking deliver or getting it towed? either way, glad you enjoy the car!

No-Control6483 2026-01-26 20:29

He got it from Carvana. They deliver it to your house directly.

FixyFixy 2026-01-26 20:32

Congrats!

RScottyL 2026-01-26 20:54

lol, on picture 2, why not just post the picture instead of a screen shot of your phone screen?

FunkHavoc 2026-01-26 21:01

34k miles isn’t almost new?

Weak_Moment6408 2026-01-26 21:05

The car is almost new to the person that bought it. If I was 20 and bought that car I would say almost new also. Especially if the person has only been driving beaters or other peoples cars. Tear down assholes that have it coming, leave the innocent alone.

Weak_Moment6408 2026-01-26 21:05

Congrats on the new car!

No-Control6483 2026-01-26 21:14

Maybe not new to you.

DrSavageTM 2026-01-26 21:17

That red is slick!

buddybe1 2026-01-26 21:19

Did they replace the wheels? Because those are from an older 2020 era Tesla not a 2023.

FunkHavoc 2026-01-26 21:20

Ok papi

FunkHavoc 2026-01-26 21:20

Yes papi

Sierraskid 2026-01-26 21:21

Not sure in this situation, but sometimes Reddit has a mb limitation and screenshot is a simplistic way to get a lower res picture

Professional_Pack620 2026-01-26 21:30

Very nice car! Congrats! Enjoy it

cheddarcat16 2026-01-26 21:34

Almost 3 years old and 34k miles what about that is brand new?

Loud-Scale9153 2026-01-26 21:36

I'm sure ur fun at parties

BuddyTheShihTzu 2026-01-26 21:37

Aren’t they the 19 inch sport painted black

Mrbill619 2026-01-26 21:39

That’s pretty good, my 22’ from hertz, had 93k when I got it.

buddybe1 2026-01-26 21:49

Similar design but no. The 19 inch are flatter for 2022-2023. I was able to find these exact one. These are the sport wheels from 2018-2021 model 3. Wheels were changed for whatever reason.

Bbronson123 2026-01-26 21:51

I got my 2022 M3 like 6 months ago with 24k miles and it still had a new car smell and drove like a brand new car, interior was flawless, owner barely drove it, was a secondary car for them. I’d consider that “almost brand new.” To others if their car has even 100 miles it’s not “brand new.” Everyone’s different….

Bbronson123 2026-01-26 21:53

Congrats, is it a LR with the performance badging? Little confused since it’s on 19 inch rims with the base brake calipers w/ the badge. They stopped the “stealth” performances back in like 2019 so I know it’s not that.

cheddarcat16 2026-01-26 22:04

No, new vs used is pretty objective but whatever makes you feel good. That’s what matters, right?

Whyme-__- 2026-01-26 22:29

You got a post lease Tesla which is great because leases are well kept vs financed cars

TrickyTrichomes 2026-01-26 22:32

It doesn’t look 23’ long

Tradetheday2093 2026-01-26 22:32

Yes. It’s new to someone. Just cause you not happy with life, others can

cheddarcat16 2026-01-26 22:36

No need to project so hard By your logic any car someone buys is “basically brand new” because it’s new to them. Hilarious.

cheddarcat16 2026-01-26 22:38

Ooo I see you’re too broke to buy a new Y so want validation that used is a better choice. Makes sense now.

FedRP24 2026-01-26 22:38

I mean I agree with you but this is nothing to get upset over

Tradetheday2093 2026-01-26 22:39

lol you digging in? Hopefully you find happiness one day

MapleQuasar 2026-01-26 22:40

Lol for real

Tradetheday2093 2026-01-26 22:41

Huh? lol…trust me I don’t need to show off

cookwithdavid2 2026-01-26 22:46

You look so happy! Enjoy your new 3 Cheers

[deleted] 2026-01-26 22:46

Smile says it all!! Congrats and enjoy it!!

cheddarcat16 2026-01-26 22:51

Don’t gaslight me. I’m not upset just calling it like it is

cheddarcat16 2026-01-26 22:52

The only person “showing off” is op with a used 3. Big woof

cheddarcat16 2026-01-26 22:56

Leases are far more abused. The person knows they aren’t keeping the car It’s also got swapped wheels and a performance badge on a non performance. This wasn’t bought from Tesla which is nearly the only way to get a lease return

Whyme-__- 2026-01-26 22:57

Interesting I had different experience because any abuse to a Tesla lease they just take an arm and a leg on return.

FedRP24 2026-01-26 23:04

Lol

Dismal_Push8053 2026-01-26 23:11

Congrats!!!

Suvi2k 2026-01-26 23:16

Congratulations. To be young and have such a powerful car is going to be fun but can also be risky. Drive carefully and enjoy the ride!

Duh_Vaping 2026-01-26 23:25

That’s awesome! Congrats!

Over_Tradition949 2026-01-27 00:12

"Almost brand new" Which for most people an only 3 year old car is. Soon as you leave the lot it's a used car anyway lol.

cheddarcat16 2026-01-27 00:17

Since you’re speaking on behalf of most people, what age does a car become not almost new? You’re choosing to make something subjective that simply isn’t.

cheddarcat16 2026-01-27 01:19

Reddit is such a strange place

Revolutionary-Part20 2026-01-27 01:20

Congratulations! Welcome to the Tesla club lol. I’m so happy for you! It’s truly such a wonderful feeling to have a amazing car like this

rjcarr 2026-01-27 01:31

Probably means the condition / appearance.

rjcarr 2026-01-27 01:32

Could be because the newer sport wheels are sorta ugly compared to these, but probably more efficient.

cheddarcat16 2026-01-27 01:34

I get what they think it means but that doesn’t equate to reality

Feisty_Crab7052 2026-01-27 01:46

Why are you so sad?

cheddarcat16 2026-01-27 01:50

Hilarious straw man

Feisty_Crab7052 2026-01-27 01:52

🫂

rjcarr 2026-01-27 01:52

This isn’t a debate. A 3 year / 30K mile car can absolutely look new.

cheddarcat16 2026-01-27 01:57

I have a 2019 3 that I got new and it’s still in fantastic condition but by no stretch of the imagination would the appearance make it “almost new.” The condition doesn’t matter, it’s 2-3years old. My 2026 Y can certainly be considered new

cheddarcat16 2026-01-27 02:00

Room temp IQ

Medium-Lavishness163 2026-01-27 03:01

Congrats!

aenima1991 2026-01-27 03:39

That … wasn’t gaslighting

cheddarcat16 2026-01-27 03:55

Telling me I’m upset when I’m not upset is textbook gaslighting

teckel 2026-01-27 04:18

3 years old, 34k miles, "almost brand new"... At an average of 30 mph and the average human farting 1 time every 1.5 hours (researched backed), that car has been farted in by a stranger 755 times. And that's assuming only the driver. I hope I didn't ruin that "new car smell" for you.

teckel 2026-01-27 04:19

I did the math, it's been farted in at least 755 times.

RestrictedX93 2026-01-27 05:10

I don’t think the commenter is upset. I do feel like you are baiting them because they are 100% correct on what they said.

icy1007 2026-01-27 06:58

You can just upload a lower quality version of the image.

icy1007 2026-01-27 06:59

Some people only have experience with cars over 100k miles.

djklmnop 2026-01-27 07:25

I thought that was ice next to you.

No-Ambassador-5920 2026-01-27 08:10

FYI you can take pics directly in instagram and post them. I assume that’s what they did

Bbronson123 2026-01-27 09:41

You’re calling strangers broke and acting superior because you own a $50k mass produced car that’ll be worth $25k in 3-5 years. Do you feel better? Did you get your dopamine hit from pointlessly arguing with strangers in the comments of Reddit? Also, youre bragging about a model Y in a model 3 thread, nobody cares.

Hibiscus7777 2026-01-27 12:04

Same trolls below who wont be happy for you just because it isn’t the “Highland”. As if it’s a crime to want to save money on a Legacy Model 3 and be happy lol. Congrats lookin fresh!

hcl8811 2026-01-27 12:57

Love the color!

RScottyL 2026-01-27 13:02

They need to learn to crop the picture and leave everything else out

cheddarcat16 2026-01-27 13:39

What do you mean? Both of my cars are “almost brand new” one has 80k miles and the other 5k….

cheddarcat16 2026-01-27 13:40

That doesn’t change the fact that a 34k miles car isn’t new

ioa94 2026-01-27 13:57

"Feels" new and "is" new are two entirely different things, you do know that right?

Professional_Day5412 2026-01-27 18:53

I pick up my 2023 model Y LR AWD with hardware 4 and only 42k miles on Saturday and I’m so excited. I searched for WEEKS to find a 23’ with HW4

Bluuzzy 2026-01-27 19:12

Nice! How much? Hard to find deals

Professional_Day5412 2026-01-27 23:02

$32k from CarMax. The shipping fee was literally only $99 from central Cali to Oregon. And they have the 20 inch induction rims. It’s white on black and I’m getting these wheel covers since they scratch so damn easily because I think they look sick https://preview.redd.it/zc0vlnje3zfg1.jpeg?width=1290&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e49ac73231e2932dc3d9c0ec909e15a0b1d3e1fe

raphaeldaigle 2026-01-28 01:09

I had to check the license plate to be sure this wasn’t in the EU. Weird to see an EU truck here. Normally I see cars delivered on a flat bed.

Over_Tradition949 2026-01-28 03:20

Keyword-"Almost". That alone makes it not definitive, but less than 40% of cars on the road (US) are under 6 years old. The average is 12-13 years. So I'd say the majority would consider 3 "almost new". I'm referring to majority rules because there is no standard for "almost".

Even-Refuse-1877 2026-01-28 07:38

The person in the picture makes me wanna sell mine

Top_Presentation7467 2026-01-28 10:35

I absolutely hate people. Let the person BE HAPPY with their new car. Jesus Christ. If this was in person I would’ve slapped all of yall

cheddarcat16 2026-01-28 11:45

So 40% of the cars on the road are “almost new?” LOL

EnvironmentHungry222 2026-01-28 13:38

Clearly so you can go follow them 🤣

slimecog 2026-01-28 18:04

congrats, but what about three years old and 34k miles says “almost new” lmao

SnooDogs7747 2026-01-28 20:19

Good purchase

Interesting-Jelly805 2026-01-28 20:54

Holy gap

[deleted] 2026-01-28 21:48

I bought a brand new ram in 22 and it just hit 50k. Still feels brand new honestly besides some outside cosmetics Little Rock chips here and there but it just proves buying brand new is a waste of money. Buy the used one with low miles and you’ll be more then satisfied!

timestudies4meandu 2026-01-31 00:20

fantastic

Over_Tradition949 2026-02-01 19:48

Did you just read the first sentence? Lol

cheddarcat16 2026-02-01 19:57

I “almost” read it
