Extent_Total 2026-01-26 09:00

The job hooked you up with the Model 3 or the Pick up truck?

Vast_Tension_2469 2026-01-26 09:01

Does that 4x4 really have the towing capacity for that trailer and a model 3!?

PabloAimar10 2026-01-26 11:12

Where you from? Europe?

snelson101 2026-01-26 12:14

A quick google says a Ford f150 (I am not completely certain it’s that) has a maximum braked capacity of 4500kg. Model 3 weights approx 1800kg. Flatbed might weigh 750kg at the upper end but I doubt it’s that much.

Reg plate says Tennessee on it

Similar here... In place of a company vehicle, my company gives us a vehicle allowance (tax free) to purchase whatever we want. I bought a Tesla as well. The cool part is, they give me 3x's what my car payment is...so I have just been making really big car payments and holding enough to cover registration and tires.

Thank you!! I studied electrical engineering in school and i’m a field engineer now in the building automation field

7Bxn7 2026-01-26 14:23

I was honestly surprised to see it pull up on that as well. He drove over 5 hours with it too!

7Bxn7 2026-01-26 14:23

I’m in the states

7Bxn7 2026-01-26 14:24

That’s awesome! My deal with work is if I want to use my work vehicle for personal use, I pay around $200 a month and they cover the registration, insurance, and gas (well, now electricity!)

AgentAaron 2026-01-26 14:42

So they pay for your supercharging as well? On top of our allowance, they also pay us 0.18/mile. This easily covers my supercharging while I am traveling. I filter to look for hotels that offer free charging, and otherwise I just charge at home during the days that I am in my office. If you are installing a level 2 charger at home, check with your electric company to see if they are offering anything as far as rebates. We have Duke Energy, and my total out of pocket expense to have a licensed electrician install it was around $400 (basically had to pay for the Tesla wall connector).

They do pay for the charging! Unfortunately, right now I live in an apartment. The complex does offer charging though which is great. I wish I was in a house because they offered to install a charger for me

Awesome car to receive from your company. Are you allowed to select what kind of car you want?

Top_Presentation7467 2026-01-26 23:22

😭😂😂😂

Organic_Battle_597 2026-01-27 00:21

That is way under the limit for an F150.

7Bxn7 2026-01-27 00:56

I had a couple to choose from

y0Mark 2026-01-27 00:59

Jealous. I see that’s the standard variant and those seats are hella comfortable.

rocketrex504 2026-01-27 01:04

GrandElectronic6850 2026-01-27 10:17

I don’t get a car allowance but I do appreciate that my employer has about 15-20 Tesla destination chargers …. My car is charged By the time I’m off work and it’s totally free
