I don’t understand anyone who say these are fun to drive, they just aren’t. That’s the entire point. I used to not like Teslas because I thought they were boring and soulless. Then I actually drove one… and I was proven right. But, it turns out I really like boring and soulless for a daily driver. They’re dead quiet, inside and out. The suspension is floaty, the power delivery is smooth, handling is effortless and predictable. They’re not fun to drive, but they are easy to drive. Thats the whole appeal. My model 3 was a daily driver to my 3 petal cammed mustang. When I just needed to get from A to B in a comfortable way with a good sound system and self driving features for traffic, I was taking the model 3. If I actually wanted to have fun, I’m taking the mustang. Teslas are boring, but they make the mundane parts of driving and car ownership easy, or even effortless. That’s the entire point *bUt tHe aCcElLerAtiOn* I found myself not flooring it to test the acceleration after maybe day 3 of ownership. It was much faster than my Mustang, but it was so easy, predictable, and repeatable, after a while my body was used to the jolt of acceleration and then I wasn’t doing anything, I was just mashing a petal. In the Mustang, I have to actually focus so I don’t spin out or lose traction, it takes some thought and effort. Not to mention exhaust noise, vibrations from the powertrain, it makes it so much more dramatic. The acceleration is just a neat party truck that gets old and repetitive after a while. I found the acceleration more useful than fun, being able to quickly move around is a very useful ability on the roads. You brought up the camry. Camrys are good, efficient, reliable. In my opinion, the model 3 is no more/less fun than a camry, but it is much easier to drive and own. Plus the tech features make it more intuitive on a commute.

completely agreed. I absolutely love love love my model 3, but it’s not a traditionally fun car to drive. It’s fun for my commute and driving duties because of how boring it is lol. When i want fun I drive the other cars :)

Yes, any version too. I got the cheapest M3 I could get. And it's better/cheaper than any car I have own!

All around implies it can do everything, and by that definition the model Y is better. If you don't have kids or cargo/passenger needs, or need to park in a tiny spot then sure the model 3 is a better driver's car. But the Model Y can do everything the Model 3 can, plus more.

Many reasons. More passenger space, more headroom, more cargo capacity, more comfortable ride, easier to get in and out of, etc. there's a reason it's the best selling EV in the world. If you don't need or value those things, then save your money. The model 3 handles better and is slightly faster, but with compromises in comparison. "All around" was the wording here, I know I'm going to get hate on a M3 sub but it's not the best all around

I put a 2 inch lift, adjustable monotube coilovers on mine, and race sway bars and it's both my daily driver and rally car. Was not exciting before mods and now it's comparable in fun to my C5 Corvette

I just got a 2020 M3 and I absolutely love it! My commute to work is only 7.5 miles and I kinda wish it was further now. I truly enjoy driving this car. I’m not sure I’ll ever go back.

Have to admit. I was a Tesla hater for no good reason but after I test drove it I was impressed with the interior, the ride quality, performance, and FSD, I sold my Porsche Macan GTS and bought a model 3 for my daily. Best value, non Chinese, car you can buy right now.

Train: $20/day per person → **$347/month per person** Tesla: $12/day parking + $24/month charging = \~$232/month total Split 3 ways → \~$77/month per person Savings: \~$270/month per person \~$800/month total Same commute time, way more flexibility, and FSD does most of the work. As a commuter car, huge savings! It’s hard to beat.

FWIW, I have an S (2021) an X (2018) and a 3 (2019) and I get that there is a time and place for each of them. But if I had to pick just one car for the rest of my life, it would most certainly be the 3. It has the “first love” kinda of feeling while driving (even if it’s just to the grocery store!!) Can’t really explain but it’s real ❤️

Absolutely love the way she drives, being a 2018 stealth performance with 110k miles, she’s still going really strong! Done quite a few things to her, she’s lowered on dinan springs, matrix LED retrofits, a highland performance bumper plus undertray swap, 15mm spacers in the front n 20mm in the back, a small and subtle front lip and last and maybe the least, the original Tesla carbon wheel caps. Found those for a steal so went for it. She drives absolutely amazing ever since I put spacers and lowered her, the once boredom I had driving her is now near gone, so much more feedback from the wheel and the butt dyno is definitely happier with the stiffening from the springs. Super planted around corners too the body roll reduced by a lot.

I will never drive anything else as a daily driver. For me switching to a Tesla felt like when we went from dumb phones to smart phones.

Only when you can’t afford a nicer car personally I like quality products and I’m not willing to give up quality for tech. I’ve had three Tesla’s last one was bought back by Tesla. The wind and road noise alone is too much for me had two threes that were ok not quality but ok then a Tesla x plaid that was pure trash. I’d rather support companies where the leader isn’t racist or if he is I don’t know about it. Many assume Tesla is a luxury car and that it isn’t

I’ve had mine new since September 23. I just used 303 aerospace protectant on all the inside vinyl, plastic, vegan leather seats, etc. and it looks soooo nice. Almost better than when I bought its HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product

The car is because it’s not a great car, but for FSD and an above average. The insulation and suspension is still impressive, but still the gate hanger is FSD. Huge convenience, made my commute much more enjoyable. Having Grok at your fingertips is such an awesome tool. We all love asking questions or playing around with it. Fantastic car overall.

Just bought mine yesterday and as odds would have it a good bit of snow in central Colorado. No issues in my AWD.
