I have arachnid wheel covers from EVBase, I like the looks but I will warn: they can get rocks/debris stuck in-between the covers and the wheels themselves, causing them to scratch the wheels themselves. This has happened to me so take note, especially if you plan on swapping them out interchangeably.

I run without covers normally, though with the Tesla center caps. (got them from Tesla store thru the app) I swap them back to the full wheel covers if I'm doing a long road trip.

Looks better without the hubcaps but they improve the range a bit

Wheel covers all look like cheap crap. Why not keep the rim look?

I also have the arachnid covers and they’re sweet. FYI, you can buy the same ones on amazon for ~$120, or Ali Express for ~$75. EVBase and the like are usually just resellers at a higher price.

Same. I like the look both ways, maybe the center caps a bit more

Arachnid covers are also my favorite. https://a.co/d/gFjbjU3

Range. A lot of people care for range impact. Even 5%. So yeah. Range.

Looks better without, but just shop for better covers you like

Keep the Aeros, they look cool and have function

I’m not a fan of the rims on their own. I think it makes the wheels look way too small because it shows the tire profile a bit too much.

This is more than likely what I’ll do because I don’t mind the look with the black paints and windows and they do help range a bit.

This is my M3LR and it looks sick with the hood wrap, tinted windows, red seats (moving to red interrior), aftermarket interior lights and soon to be underglow

I have arachnid wheel covers from EVBase as well.

Looks good without the covers. I wouldn't care about a few extra miles 🤷

Is there a wheel cover that people feel has been particularly good at increasing efficiency....by whatever single digit percentages are possible?

i’m not particularly concerned about the range on a day to day basis. Maybe if i was taking a longer trip and was going to lose significant miles, but I’m charging daily at work either way and barely using 6-7% a day as is.

How hard was it to do the door trim in black

The car is 2022 which has black trim from factory but I can’t imagine wrapping it would be too hard

Ah. Didnt know they did black trim chrome handles, thought it was chrome or black.

It’s really only highway speeds on long stretches of road the stock aeros really do anything. Stop and go low speed city street driving you’re getting maybe 1-2% more range. I personally do majority city driving so for the aesthetics I prefer aftermarket covers over a 3-5 mile range gain.

I want to get the newer cover because the previous owner has only 1 red cap lol

I took the dorky looking wheel covers off when I first got my car. When I put them back on there was a noticeable increase in range. I kept them on after that.
