I also have a 2025 M3 LR and you're definitely mossing it, it's a usb type C outlet in the center console(armrest)! Might be hard to see with it being black and tiny. I use it to charge my steam deck all the time cause I keep a cable plugged into it.

This is the correct answer for the Highland refresh. I plug my radar detector into that. Also worth mentioning that it’s actually 18v instead of 12v but I have had a Uniden R8 plugged into mine for 7 months with no issues.

USB C provides 5 volts DC. OP needs a 12 V socket.

It's 16v. Don't assume 12v equipment will just work. It can lead to faster degradation of the connected electronics and in worst case fire. Especially eith cheap Chinese electronics.

Looks like a cigarette lighter but it has 12-16v power. Just need to buy an adapter and there is the power you are searching for. Just needs the correct plug in/ adapter that fits what you are looking for. I found some on amazon. 2001 model 3 performance I was looking all over the place as well. It was right under my right arm under the armrest the whole time lol You aren’t alone lol

I also have a 2025 TM3 and it's there, upload a picture of your car from that area

2022, brand new car. I searched in the center console storage and could never find the 12V socket. Christmas 2025, someone gifted me a new center console storage tray (among other various accessories). It is deeper than my old one and it has a notch cut out of the forward left corner, and I wondered why it was there. Guess what I found when I put it in and felt around for what that notch is for.

If you think finding the 12v accessory plug is hard, I'm still looking for the USB-A port you can plug a flash drive into and will probably looking for it long after the treasure hunters on Oak Island actually find treasure.

on my 22 M3LR, it is not there. Lift the arm rest it is in a similar position in that compartment.
