Not sure if I’m getting a deal but MODEL 3 RWD ‘23 BLACK, WHT interior, 19’ SPORT WHEELS $27.5k OTD MILES 26K CARFAX CLEAN OWNER 1 ALSO THERE IS THIS INDENTION ON THE DASH BY THE AIR BAGS WONDERING WHAT THAT IS

CactusDoux 2026-01-16 04:40

I got the same indent on my used model 3. Apparently it’s normal ford a tesla. Sometimes you can see the line on the steering wheel too

AllSwedishNoFinish 2026-01-16 04:42

It’s an intentional perforation designed for the airbag to deploy properly.

GettinBreesh 2026-01-16 04:46

What’s your thoughts on the deal ?

GettinBreesh 2026-01-16 04:46

Okay, What’s your thoughts on the deal ?

CactusDoux 2026-01-16 04:49

I think it’s a good deal. I paid mine in October 2024 31k$ CAD. 2021 AWD with 41 000km on it. It was a good deal. If you don’t live in an area with snow rwd is powerful enough

AllSwedishNoFinish 2026-01-16 04:50

Good deal I think for an out the door price. Got mine for a bit more in September with similar mileage

Metroo_bowin 2026-01-16 05:13

I have a 2021 rwd and it’s perfect for the small city of El Paso. I daily charge in my garage. I also think the deal is good considering it’s otd and you still have warranties on. The airbag indentation is also on my 2021 tesla but is not as noticeable.

Godrillax 2026-01-16 13:10

It’s an okay deal. Not amazing but fair. Enjoy!

JonPorked 2026-01-16 13:22

27.5k is a little too high for a rwd, I'd try to negotiate

jebe86 2026-01-16 13:38

Okay deal. I paid $24,500 ($20,500 after tax credit) for my 2023 with 29k miles on it 4-5 months ago, it was a private sale though, no dealership.

Nxgdx 2026-01-16 14:14

I have the same thing on my Y at the end of 2023 from Berlin, I understood that it is for the deployment of airbags

GettinBreesh 2026-01-16 15:04

Yeah but what makes it look like that I’m sure it was not visible when it came from the factory

Nxgdx 2026-01-16 15:43

Yes, at the exit of the factory it was not visible either, it appeared a few months later

crinklemermaid 2026-01-16 16:52

Thanks for that, have same imprint in my car

y0Mark 2026-01-16 22:24

Okay deal. I bought mine $20.5k before taxes and fees back in August. Granted this was when the $4k EV credit was a thing

SouthTX303 2026-01-16 22:38

You could get a 2024 refresh RWD highland for like a few thousand more, and for around 30k you could get a AWD, to me I don’t think it’s a good deal, I got a 2026 model y and only paid 34k

JakeAnwan 2026-01-16 23:27

I got a ‘23 RWD with 25k miles for $22,500 about 3 months ago

GettinBreesh 2026-01-16 23:54

Find me one lol, market is tight right now which is unfortunate but this is one of the better deals out there rn, also OTD price for a highland would be cheapest 35k … that’s out of budget for me

GettinBreesh 2026-01-16 23:55

Car spec and CARFAX, And was that otd price ?

GettinBreesh 2026-01-16 23:56

So about 22k ish OTD not bad

JakeAnwan 2026-01-17 00:09

Got it from Tesla preowned. That was the otd price with 1400 down/ttl. So around 24k

JakeAnwan 2026-01-17 00:10

And standard range. No accident history.

JonPorked 2026-01-17 03:58

Somebody here bought a 23 AWD with FSD for 28k.

GettinBreesh 2026-01-17 04:43

OTD ? Also miles etc

Garrettstoffel 2026-01-17 20:28

how'd you get that tax credit? I thought used EV credit has to go thru a dealer [https://www.irs.gov/credits-deductions/used-clean-vehicle-credit](https://www.irs.gov/credits-deductions/used-clean-vehicle-credit)

jebe86 2026-01-17 20:46

KeySavvy, they act as a dealership. They technically purchase the car from the buyer and sell it to you, but it’s in one smooth transaction

midnight_to_midnight 2026-01-18 02:21

You can get a '23 Performance for under $30k these days with comparable mileage.

masked_kulprit 2026-01-19 01:27

I just got a ‘23 rwd with 31k miles for $23k in the last 2 weeks. I’d try to negotiate if possible

GettinBreesh 2026-01-19 01:27

Was that otd price ?

masked_kulprit 2026-01-19 01:57

Yes. Directly from tesla.com

Acrobatic-Process129 2026-01-19 15:13

I bought a Model 3 RWD black exterior and black interior for $23k and 22,000 miles in November 2025. They originally wanted $26k, but I talked them down to $23k.

GettinBreesh 2026-01-19 17:14

Nice ! 23k OTD ?

No_Advisor_2331 2026-01-19 21:22

not a great deal, but not a bad deal. i got a ‘22 in october with 9k miles for the same price, but that was an anomaly based on everything else i’ve seen since.
