M3LR has new shoes!

Cross climate 2 tires on 18" Dolce Stella 5 spoke silver rims. Fresh alignment. I really like the cross climate tires. Much improved over the stock ones.

What do you like about the cross climate 2 ? Are they quieter? Especially on grooved concrete? How are they in snow?

It's Reddit. I knew going in I'd see posts like that because you see it every time someone posts anything not stock. One of the things I did before deciding on my rims was to scan through the posts looking at the rims other people put on their cars. Someone else also might be thinking about this look and it might help decide if that's the route they want to go. The only thing I wish about these rims is that the spokes were set a little bit deeper where they meet the rim so it doesn't look as flush. But limitations and options are scarce and I'm happy overall. 😎

They grip way better in wet conditions which I see a lot of in the PNW. I had to be really careful with the stock tires in the wet because it wasn't very hard to get them to break loose on wet corners. The CC2's are very grippy in the wet and snowy conditions making the drive much more comfortable. The noise is pretty similar to stock, perhaps a touch quieter.

I would say that they are a touch quieter than stock but not a huge difference.

Kinda looks like a respectable family car now.
