On the way home FSD completely shut down and left car coasting towards the wall on a curvy section of the highway. Reset did not help. Walking away for 10 minutes did.
What year and model? Could be the 12v
Next time just try rebooting the car by pressing both scroll buttons simultaneously. Mine did this after leaving service mode after window tint and PPF install
I did both Power Off and two scroll wheel reset methods nether helped. Walking away for few minutes is the only thing that fixed it.
2024 M3P with 23k miles. 12v after after less then a year. Sheesh, caca water battery! 😂
Why not just make a service inquiry?
The car going to sleep is the real hard reset. The scroll wheels just dobthe interface and the shut down command is the screen and the soft power down before it sleeps

Small note. My guess, bug. Why? It is a microwave with a computer on wheels. Just like you restart your grandmas router because internet stopped working. 😂 FSD was just sketchy to let go like that (ot let go without a peep, just warning, so i took over). The only thing that really worry me. Cause what if I was in heavy traffic? Oh well. Time to get better insurance. 😂😂

Usally means wheels are out of alignment try doing the offset drive test in service mode you have to drive in a straight line going at least 30 mph
Yep - I've had good luck with this approach. They couldn't fix my car any sooner (main battery replacement), but they took in and got me in a loaner same day.
Is there a Over the Air update that is occurring right now by any chance?
You vehicle doesn't have a 12v battery. It's a 16v lithium ion and doesn't need replacement.
Body side of wheel speed sensor.
I looked at all of them. All are fine. Been a week now. Shit is as good as new. 🤗
