New Owner!

masked_kulprit | 2026-01-07 05:27 | 265 views

Picked up a new (to me) 2023 Model 3 and couldn’t be happier! Drove it home about 4 hours to save on the transport fee. I have never driven anything like it and I don’t think I’ll be able to go back to ICE cars now.

jonnieinthe256 2026-01-07 14:45

Nice! But wth is a ICE car?

DingoDoggie15 2026-01-07 15:17

Congratulations! Nice ride. We got an M3P 2025 before rebates ended. OMG, we got the Starship Enterprise! Nothing with an ICE engine with the exception of a stratospheric few will stay with this thing, and my wife loves driving it and being “bad” at times too. Agreed with the not wanting to go back to an ICE car again!🤣

Did you buy this from Tesla.com? How was that experience, thinking about doing the same

masked_kulprit 2026-01-07 17:53

Internal combustion engine. Gas powered vehicles basically

masked_kulprit 2026-01-07 17:57

Yes! All in all it was the easiest car buying experience I’ve had (aside from the waiting for delivery haha.) Placed my order on the website, and since it was a pre owned vehicle it got assigned the VIN immediately. Everything is done through the Tesla app aside from the physical signing of paperwork that is done at the time of delivery. Basically it asks you if you have a trade in, it wants proof of insurance, if you’re financing or paying cash, etc. It will let you know when the vehicle is on site and will let you schedule delivery right from the app. All I had to bring was my ID since I was still financing my old vehicle. But if you own your trade in (if you’re doing one at all) they will want the title to the old vehicle. I drove my car there, signed papers while he went and looked at my trade, and drove away in the Tesla.

Congrats! I wish I’d taken a picture of my name tent. I think I still have it though

skidds101 2026-01-08 03:01

Congrats OP! Just ordered a 2023 myself. How long before delivery did the “delivery estimate” show up in the app? Still anxiously waiting to get a delivery date set!

is that a chick?

masked_kulprit 2026-01-08 18:05

The website said about a week but it really took a week and a half

ShootingHamster 2026-01-08 19:52

Sweet spot Tesla those ‘23s! I’ll definitely miss mine. Treat her well, and she’ll be your best friend and keep you safe for many years to come!

BodybuilderLost4491 2026-01-09 03:58

Congrats! 🎉

leeburridge 2026-01-09 23:04

Yeah. I feel the same. Mines in for repairs after someone crashed into me in a car park and got a corsa petrol as a courtesy car. Its fucking horrible. Small, smells, have to use petrol stations. Not the one.

Mean-Lead-3982 2026-01-11 21:40

Excellent price. I thought I got a steal but this is better. I got a 22 m3 rwd with the lfp battery and 7k miles for 27k 6 months ago. My warranty just expired last week.

Exact-Clothes1523 2026-01-12 02:33

I laughed at this, one more reason to avoid ICE.
