Ultra Red aka Mazda Soul is indeed Tesla's best shade. Quicksilver gives off Robocop vibes though and that's always a strong contender.

In the showroom it definitely does, but under a variety of lighting I find the quicksilver to be more consistent.

That’s what I went with the black. No regret with that decision. With dark tint like the stealth look.

Oh yeah.  I had a 2018 Model 3 in Red, and felt nothing but contempt for every other vehicle on the road.  Except for Miata’s in Soul Red.  I coveted that color.  I now have a Y in Ultra Red, which is at least in the ballpark with Soul Red; it’s not quite as good, but it’s close enough. And Red is the fastest color.

Quicksilver then red IMO. (I had to buy Government Gray due to the tax credit, so I don’t have a dog in this fight.)

I would have gotten the new red if my previous car hadn't been red. I like to switch colors. Maybe I'll get ultra red if it's available for my next car.

Ultra Red does look sharp. I didn't want to spend $2000 for it, though, so I went with Midnight Silver Metallic (gray).

What a nonsense, the car is almost identical with a non-p so what makes it stand out so much color wise? I have a LR and I love my Ultra Red, best car color ever in any light condition.

Red hands down. Quicksilver has to be super clean and certain lighting conditions to stand out. Once it gets slightly dirty or not enough sun, it just blends in like any regular grey car out there. You won't even notice it in the parking lot.

Ultra red is just best color on all Teslas imo.

I own a black Model 3 and was about to argue with you, but then I realized that I had to wash my car.

I just got a red performance model three 2025 at the end of September and it’s beautiful. So obviously, I agree with you and especially under bright lighting.

My 2019 Model 3 in the Red Multi-Coat with chrome and the white interior still looks amazing. I had planned, years ago, on blacking out the chrome to look more distinctive on the road, and I'm so glad I didn't, since now it stands out in a sea of chromeless Teslas. The new Ultra Red does look nice, but I think it's pretty dark and "serious" and prefer the old brighter red, which gives a more "fun" vintage sporty look.

Black is the only color I recognize! Best with white interior but I’ll allow black interior as well.

What year Miata is soul red? Nice color btw. I wanted red for my wife Mod3. But she wanted that metallic black. Black is such a hard color to take care of. I bought those plush Chemical guys microfiber xl drying towel and that hybrid wash mitts. And a collapsible Adam gall bucket

I have this car since October 2025 and totally agree with you! Mine is not as shiny as this showroom model. It is worth the up charge for the color. Some friends tried to put me off my choice but no regrets. It is easy to find in parking lots too.

White is generally the easiest color to mantain clean in cars but I do agree that Tesla's pearl white is great.
