MPP Comfort Coilovers or Eibach Pro Springs

InternationalFroyo29 | 2026-01-03 09:06 | 53 views

Want to lower my 23 M3P mainly just for the aesthetic but any performance benefits would just be a bonus. I’m stuck between the Eibach springs as i’ve heard pretty good things about them and they are inexpensive. But i’m not sure if it’s better to just spend more and get MMP comfort coilovers as i’ve heard they are pretty much the best. And i’ve heard that springs can mess up your oem shocks as they weren’t ment to have less spring compression on them. So just don’t want to regret it later on. If anyone has ether of these and would be willing to give there onsite i’d greatly appreciate it!!

Lower? I’m hitting the underside more that I could wish for 😱

I have the UP Moderates on mine. Go Low if you can, it's worth it.

How do you like those did you see any major differences in the driving quality?

MPP if you don’t to regret Had eibach before and moved to Coilovers

They're dual-rate, so small bumps get eaten up a little better. Still fairly stiff, but I am on stock shocks FWIW

Heard many say the same when reading forums. How are you liking the mpp do you think it’s better than stock?

Don’t have MPP But have ohlins r&t. Definitely handles better but not as soft. If you’re looking for oem plus comfort would recommended mpp or the ohlins street comfort.

MPP

I’ve had both. Comforts are incredible over springs. I was fortunate to get a used set to take the sting off the cost that had less than 1K on them. They’re so much less harsh over any bumps, etc. I’ve even had people who have driven in lowered cars say how surprised they are with how they ride.

On what stock height isn’t low at all

Maybe it’s just in Europe? The car is stock but I’ve hit the ground multiple times on a steep slope for example and when exiting a road to make a tree way turn on a mountain road for example.

No point putting springs on oem old dampers, just get new name brand coilovers do it right the first time don't get cheap shit

How long do you plan to keep the car?

InternationalFroyo29 2026-01-06 22:33

A while for sure. But either way I wouldn’t want to do something that could hurt it long term

InternationalFroyo29 2026-01-06 22:33

Agreed

In that case, go the coilover route.
