I'm old, but I love seeing car mod culture hit EVs. Ok, so I'm a sucker for RGB lighting and I love that color scheme, but in general it's great to see modded Teslas. It's not like there's a shortage of them or anything, people get too worked up about keeping things stock sometimes. And Teslas kind of look like a blank slate compared to other cars anyway, especially with the interior.

Search for car audio shops they usually do lightings too

In most states, so like usable in private property or most cops won’t mess with you if your not actively driving with them on. Be really cool if it weren’t.

it wasn't that expensive to do all of this all in I am down little under 5k. I would not do it on a lease thou, unless you plan to buy it out when lease ends. Although all the pieces will help preserve the car specially interior, but you would have to take out all wiring for electronics when you return the car

Lights are XKglow max kits, and probably the best lights on the market at least with my research. They are not hard to install if you know your way around cars, specially Tesla since they go along the grooves already in the car.

Ooh I think performance models are really fun. Just better for me to not own a 3 sec car. I would use it all the time. At a younger age I was chased by cops but I did not know I was being chased as they were way far behind. Little bit later I quit driving for like 15 years. Really wanted to stay away from a performance. I am sucker for rgb things and that’s where this car began and added few things on to complete the look. Thanks for actually helpful critique!

In my case with the 19” Nova wheels I do notice a big difference! I can’t speak for people with the 18” rims but they claim to be 3% more efficient than Teslas Aero wheels.

I started with a SR + back in 2020 and honestly, it is still much faster than most cars on the road. I used to gun it all the time, and now I only gun it when I have people in the car or I want to surprise my kids lol

I could/will probably do the wheel wells even with the 1inch drop, I never got into the raised car look
