Do anything to protect their wall charger cord on the ground.
The cord is so long it drags on the ground pretty bad, scuffing it up.

Found something for you. Might be something cheaper out there. https://www.designengineering.com/ev-charge-cord-protector/
I used split wire loom tubing to cover the cord. Edit: added words split and tubing, for clarity.
My cord is looped over the body of the charger itself. There's nothing on the ground except for when I plug the car in. I'm not worried about minor scuffs to the jacket
I put something like this around mine https://www.harborfreight.com/1-2-half-inch-x-7-ft-protective-wire-wrap-66986.html

I'm a homeowner. I park my Tesla in my garage. I routed my level 2 charger cable to hang from the ceiling very near the Tesla charge port. When unplugged it hangs about 2 feet above the floor. There are no springs or pulleys. Just large radius brackets to hold the cable securely. It never touches the ground and is almost never in the way. If it is ever in the way, I just hang it over a hook on the wall. https://preview.redd.it/wlln5xnok0ag1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1a7d97ee8391359b1c518b07d97dcc88b729a8e7
I’m giving this a shot: [Amazon Link](https://a.co/d/7lRFLkD)
Looks good. 1”?
I have been using this for 2.5 years for a wall charger. [https://a.co/d/a1jucHT](https://a.co/d/a1jucHT) No complaints, works as intended. A spiral plastic sleeve, 10 feet long, to wrap around your charger cable. If going this route, measure twice your cable diameter. Buy the length you need, as the charging cable will be off the ground for a feet or two by the wall charger and where it's connected at your vehicle.
Yep 1” 15 feet.
I installed a hose hanger in the garage next to the outlet. Keeps the cord off the floor and looks good
To be clear, scuff marks aside, is it okay to leave the charging cable on the ground while charging? Is the focus here on cosmetic damage or something bigger?
