Hey Everyone, Hansshow informed me the product I ordered is not coming. Does any one have recommendations to an alternative? Thanks

Lots of Tesla accessories are rebranded from AliExpress/baba that's where I would check.

Status_Bluebird_2308 2025-12-28 14:39

Get a refund, don't bother also trunk led? Lame and you'll never use it also probably illegal

[deleted] 2025-12-28 15:54

Probably felt bad that you were going to put this atrocious product on your car. 😂

B1A23 2025-12-28 16:55

They did you a favor by canceling it. That’s hideous.

Omacrontron 2025-12-28 17:01

I actually laughed when I saw the picture of the car with the led around the hood????? The ugliest fcking thing I think I have ever seen. I thought they were buying the fronk led.

q843104 2025-12-28 17:07

Why is Hansshow so hyped compared to buying directly from Ali? Many of the products I’ve seen here are also available on Chinese websites often with identical images. Do they offer warranties returns and other customer service?

Igotnonamebruh42 2025-12-28 17:13

Hyped by the influencers. I remembered they were trash talking to one of the influencers who actually against them because the product is a safety hazard

foxehkins 2025-12-28 18:42

170 for an led strip is wild man. They did you a favor.

SpamSpam32822 2025-12-28 18:48

Why is it atrocious?

SpamSpam32822 2025-12-28 18:49

Why is it hideous?

SpamSpam32822 2025-12-28 18:56

If it's the ugliest thing you think you've ever seen: -You prob don't get out much -You prob don't think well structured thoughts --I say that because you put five question marks but skipped a 'u' in the word 'fucking' ---What's the Logic behind holding the Shift Key down and doing five question marks but skipping a 'u'?

SpamSpam32822 2025-12-28 18:57

Getting a refund but I'll look for alt options. Where does it say it's illegal?

SpamSpam32822 2025-12-28 18:58

Thanks Jon

SpamSpam32822 2025-12-28 19:06

I typically see a product that catches my eye, review around through multiple videos and forums, think about if the product will represent my personality in a silent matter or give me efficiency/ease of the main product, then see if the price is a no brainer / a sticky note for next week to evaluate the purchase again / a nah cause to much $. Hansshow has a good presence for US Consumers and understands there's a market for aftermarket Chinese Tesla parts but no presence. I'll checkout Ali but the trade off for less spend is more research from the Seller to make sure they are legit on their Cc product. So from my perspective, I'm comfortable paying some more to have a company that backs me up if products need return/service Hope that helped you understand 👍

SpamSpam32822 2025-12-28 19:07

If you got a source, pls include. Would like to review if possible. If you can't find, no worries

ca2mt 2025-12-28 19:13

You used “prob” instead of “probably.” Multiple times, at that. Therefore, by your own logic, your opinions are now irrelevant.

SpamSpam32822 2025-12-28 19:14

Yea, if it's a basic light strip I'd agree. There's not any vids out there of the product so it could be a higher quality light strip that doesn't look 'spaced out' and more like one continuous singular light color. I also pay for them to put an instruction manual/vid together, the components that make it tie into the car, and product support should I need them in the future Some ppl are more DIY than others. I'm okay with paying some extra $ for time in this case. Hope that helped dude 👍

SpamSpam32822 2025-12-28 19:18

Not really. Did my response above have any extra inputs that weren't needed? Where did I say anyone's opinion wasn't relevant? I just asked a question to better understand What made you want to reply to a comment that wasn't directed toward you?

foxehkins 2025-12-28 19:19

I've seen some of their products. I myself have a slightly modded Tesla. They way overcharge for their stuff though I'd seriously recommend looking to some other outlets. The Tesla socal group on Instagram is pretty friendly and I normally hang out when them, good people and helpful.

SpamSpam32822 2025-12-28 19:25

Cool! I'm in FL but will check out the Instagram group. Feel free to shoot me some outlets you recommend in a DM. Appreciate the help Friend

Omacrontron 2025-12-28 19:42

I feel like it takes the sting out of the word by typing it like that. I drop the “i” from btch too lol. I’m also on my phone so I didn’t have to hold anything down. Would you put a led light strip around the trunk? Or like the doors? I am blown away anyone could find this “mod” attractive lol.

ca2mt 2025-12-28 20:15

>>-You prob don't think well structured thoughts You don’t think in well structured words. It’s an open thread, simple as that.

SpamSpam32822 2025-12-28 20:44

-You didn't respond to my first question. If it was too confusing lmk and I can rephrase it. If it wasn't and you understood, is there a reason why you didn't respond? I left it up to you and your subjectivity of what you deemed 'extra inputs'. But you didn't say anything (like I said, lmk if you need help understanding the question). I think you didn't say anything because you couldn't say anything. I kept my response pretty relaxed but you 'felt' like you had to respond to a comment that wasn't even directed to you. I think you are one of those ppl that reads into things too much (or tries to read but doesn't understand) (it's okay, we're all learning here) (*the majority of us) --I think the words are pretty structured. I mean, if you read 'You prob don't think well structured thoughts' you can infer the person's Logic stands on a wobbly base. It's kind of right there, you know? You might not also have well structured thoughts if what I said didn't make sense -You're right, it is an open thread. But I asked a question that wasn't directed to you. I asked you an other question. Here it is again, 'Where did I say anyone's opinion wasn't relevant?'. Can you answer that question? I hope I can get the two answers from you since it is an open thread and you decided to answer a question that wasn't meant for you -Do you need sometime to respond? I don't mind waiting. No rush 👍

ca2mt 2025-12-28 20:47

No one’s reading all that triggered babble. Good luck finding your car lights.

SpamSpam32822 2025-12-28 21:00

-Fair. I thought you were goin for efficiency so the double tap for the Caps Lock and the 4 extra question marks were confusing --I think calling something 'The ugliest fcking thing I think I have ever seen' is a little bit more stingful than a full curse word. That's just me lol -I wouldn't look at it like a light strip. Think of the lights from the Light Cycle (Bikes from Tron). Would I kit my whole car with a wicked design that follows the trim of my M3? Heck yea! But first we start with the front of the car and go from their -Hope that gave you my Vision for the product. If you see the Final Design on the road and still think it's ugly, we can poll the world and let the data speak for itself!

Omacrontron 2025-12-28 21:06

That would be cool, sucker for some Tron not going to lie. Attacking the lights is not an attack on you my man.

OneEstablishment5144 2025-12-28 23:27

You can't have red or blue lights on the front of your car. Those colors are for copsonly. Even an led with color changing options probably count. Maybe all purpose led kit for you would, build your own kit.

Igotnonamebruh42 2025-12-29 00:02

https://youtu.be/jPp3UOEW_y8?si=I6KRD7KdAdLOK5kk I would avoid this company

permaburner69420 2025-12-29 02:50

Goddamn that's some tacky bullshit, save your money

[deleted] 2025-12-29 11:21

A Christmas tree maybe?

ridlerontheroof 2025-12-29 13:24

Looks like you dodged a bullet from the ugly gun.

SpamSpam32822 2025-12-29 15:13

https://www.theboringlight.com/products/the-boring-light This product for the Cybertruck is similar to what I'm trying to achieve (it's a light on the Front of the Vehicle, just not the DRLs). This product is pretty well established and I don't believe they would be scaling and selling something illegal. This is what makes me believe it is legal There are also those Dodge Hellcats with the DRLs in Red. So that's a Red Light on the Front of a Vehicle. Idk if it's illegal (and I also dk what the 50 States say in their governing lights for motor vehicles), but I am under an assumption that you cannot have strobing Red/Blue Lights. I believe a Continuous Blue or a Continuous Red would be fine. I think having a Red and Blue on the Front of a Vehicle Continuously is not right (and we aren't going to start a discussion on the subjectivity of Right and Wrong). What I'm trying to say is maybe in the 50 States, some States might say 'No Red/Blue Lights' or 'No Red/Blue Continuous' and some States might say 'No Red/Blue Strobing'. If it's the latter, technically speaking, you could have Red/Blue Continuous on the Front of the Vehicle and still be in the parameters of the Law. A way to cover everyones butts is just to have a standardized law that states 'No Red/Blue Lights on the Front of Vehicles that are unauthorized' I rather a business make a product that sells and collects a margin than me try to research the best led strip, find out what length I need, how it fits in the frunk lining, where the wires connect, what I need to open to gain access to the vehicles inside, and how to connect the product to an app or Tesla's color wheel in Settings. Just too much time for me to do all that for a one use case. Would be happier to see someone put all that time in, make a good living, and earn a little margin on me for my one use case

SpamSpam32822 2025-12-29 15:24

-You are --To some degree. I still have my questions unanswered but no worries -Or you are referring to yourself as no one? -The Karma Points reflect Others are reading my words. I don't believe ppl click the up or down arrows if they don't read the words -Thanks. Best of luck on your Real Estate business 👍

SpamSpam32822 2025-12-29 15:34

-Haha, happy I snagged you with Tron :) -I know, you're just giving your perspective on the lights. All I'm trying to say is if I was 14 and had an idea to do this with my ebike, it would hurt my feelings if I read/heard what you said and it may not push me to trick out my ride. You and I are fortunate enough to live in a time period//household where we got out character built where words might not hurt us. The new gen is a lil more sensitive due to The Data Age and Less Parenting (from ppl who shouldn't have had children) --My Feedback would be to try and get the idea someone presented fleshed out in full context if it doesn't align with whats in your head. If it's fleshed out and still is unaligned, ask questions to help the person understand it might not be the greatest idea or guide them to alignment -Have a Happy NY my Brother Man

Present-Ad-9598 2025-12-29 15:52

Are you a fucking bot 😭😭

SpamSpam32822 2025-12-29 16:52

Thanks for finding and sending the Review: -Not trying to sound triggering here, but I do hate the Ford Lightnings that occupy 'two' spots --When the Truck pulls in Front First, you take up the Left Spot as well by negating a Tesla that Reverses Back In ---You could take the Trucks cable (if it reaches long enough) (but thats all dependent on the initial build [Supercharger closeness and if its in the middle/left/right of the parking space, cable length, curb, etc.]) ----But then you would have your cables crossed and when the Truck pulls away, you are positioned to take out your cable and use the proper one -----Which then makes you geolocked to charging or put in a position to ask the Truck Driver how long they plan to be there so you know if you can leave ------But based on human behavior now, that question might be met with 'It's none of your business' with an attitude -------Which then prompts you to explain they are an actual inconvenience with charging Front First since it creates the scenario that led to the question... which needs to be answered because if greater than Tesla charge time (no geolock) but if less than (geolocked) *My case use of course. I go off site when Supercharging. I know I'm the Outlier lol --------This is all explained because I have experienced this, and I'm sure others have too. You get to a SC Station and all SCs are occupied except for one that's next to a Ford Lightning... and you are 3rd in the Queue to charge. Not chill -I wonder if Reverse Back In with a Ford would work with this product. I think the length might be still a lil short -I looked on Hansshow's website and I don't see the option to select 'Ford Lightning' under the 'Shop My Vehicle' tab or anywhere on the Homepage --I know it doesn't negate the entire video and the Arc Flash Risk, but I from what I can tell at a surface level is this product has no mention of being used for a Ford Lightning and it is being used on a Ford Lightning -With all that being said, I 90% agree with the YouTuber. Latch/Lock should be there for securement. People don't read instructions anymore and add a lack of common sense spells disaster (or Arc Flashes) --However, it is on You for Failing to Not Read and Improperly using equipment on your Vehicle you use for Everyday (since we are putting a reg person perspective) ---EVs are new... so were gas cars xx years ago. I'm sure the instruction manual said 'Don't. Pull. Away' but did they? Idk and I don't feel like searching if ppl did (but my assumption is yes they did... or not because we had less distractions and less things to think about. So maybe they were more conscious with their actions... but I'm sure there were a few that did pull off ----What I'm saying is if you purchase an EV and don't read and don't have common sense You Fail. Shouldn't be the Companies Fail if you damage your Own Vehicles that You Use Everyday with a Product that is Not Listed on the Website of the Company -----Also I would like to point out a 3% clause of having a random person disconnecting the product incorrectly for whatever purpose. Idk why that would happen but you still will be taking a Risk with this product regardless unless if there was a better securement latch/lock (unless a physical keylock or an app that latches it into place... which will then drive the cost up more to house the components to enable either of the mentioned) -I am more interested in what the email communication was from the YouTuber and Hansshow. The reason is he stated Hansshow was 'arguing'. I mean, without context of the words we really can't determine that. Not only that, the YouTuber stated Hansshow will update their instructions based on the Feedback provided --If Hansshow provided this product Without mentioned to Disconnect Main Cable first and then Product, that is 100% on them. I would be upset if this is the case but alas, the YouTuber did receive the product for demoing in their statement saying: 'I actually reached out to Hansshow After They Followed asking when I was going to make a video of this adapter as I was doing my testing and gathering my thoughts and such' ---Something doesn't add up. The Order of Events is; Hansshow reaches out about product and then YouTuber reaches out with Feedback. Not what was stated/presented which was; YouTuber 'actually reaches out' to Hansshow to give 'his thoughts and such' about their concerns ----The reason why that's important is because in the YouTube Video, the Hansshow pending feedback sentence is kind of glazed over. I think it's important to recognize Hansshow was awaiting Feedback from this YouTuber who got this product For Free for 'Testing'. There is an understanding between both parties but by not ordering the events correctly, it almost puts Hansshow in an unfavorable light which I don't think is fair -----So the two things we would need to Review would be the Initial Instruction Manual given to the YouTuber and what the Email Correspondence was to determine the 'arguing' and communication =I appreciate what you sent. Until we review the above I can't say I won't buy Tesla products (not Ford Lightning) from them. I haven't been wronged by Hansshow and their email communication is pretty solid on the other products I have purchased. If I do encounter issues in the future I'll make sure to follow up here!

SpamSpam32822 2025-12-29 17:04

Do you have your M3 modified?

TrueKingGuava 2025-12-29 17:20

OP you asking the wrong chat friend everyone in this com are sheep and only like stock teslas that look the same, mods (regardless of look) are frowned upon here, every modded post gets hate but every stock m3 posted gets positive posts even though they’ve seen the same car a thousand times lol

Igotnonamebruh42 2025-12-29 21:29

Go read his communications with Hansshow on X, even if their product has no safety hazard it’s their altitude that let me stay away from them. You just can’t trash talk to your customers when they pointed out the fault of your product. If hansshow wants feedback, then they should’ve stop selling it to public first instead of arguing.

SpamSpam32822 2025-12-30 00:41

But how can I see the road with all these presents on my windshield :p

SpamSpam32822 2025-12-30 02:28

-Spent about 2 mins trying to find the communication by scrolling through his feed (I don't have social media so I can't search on X for the post). If you could post the communication you are referring to I'd appreciate the help so I can gather some insight -I wouldn't buy a product with no safety features but I get where you are coming from. If the Company sees the Customers they serve as less then themselves it's an unequal partnership, which can then lead to the Company making subjective decisions at the cost of the end User because the mentality would be 'Just get over it' -I'd like to see what the 'arguing' is about. If Hansshow is trying to defend themselves in an abrasive manner that does not take accountability for their lackadaisical clip that holds the extension piece of the cable, then yea, that's pretty crummy and I'd like to know what Hannshow said in email correspondence with the YouTuber -Do you know when Hansshow posted the product for sale? The YouTuber posted their 'Test Review' about 5 months ago. I ask because if Hansshow was getting feedback before selling on their platform, it doesn't really make Logical sense to argue with the testers you supplied product to for feedback --Also not selling a product isn't viable for a business. My guess is this is the first time Hansshow made a product like this and wanted feedback from Users to hear what they thought. If the email correspondence appears abrasive then Hansshow is at fault for being defensive of their 'unsafe' product because they themselves sought the feedback

SpamSpam32822 2025-12-30 02:40

~There is no gun

SpamSpam32822 2025-12-30 02:51

Why do you think that?

SpamSpam32822 2025-12-30 03:02

-Thanks for the insight Brother Friend. I don't run online so my initial Thoughts were 'Hey, maybe some ppl on a Tesla subreddit might know some way to point me in the right direction!'. Had no idea this was the wrong com and had really no idea how depressing some of these ppl are. Part of me hopes the majority of the responses are AI Accounts because it is sad to see that a simple question is met with so many negative perspectives -As you are aware, ppl surround themselves with echoing chambers to comfort what their perceived reality to be because it insulates (or petrifies) their beliefs from change. Before I ask for help, I'll have to ChatGPT what the consensus of the subreddit might be before I ask so that my question gets answered versus ppl wasting my time lol -'even though they’ve seen the same car a thousand times'. Hard lol =Glad to see another One of Us out their :)

Present-Ad-9598 2025-12-30 06:23

All of your responses starting each sentence with a series of hyphens is unsettling

Igotnonamebruh42 2025-12-30 16:10

As long as the cameras are not blocked, the windscreen is clear, it isnt raining, it isnt night-time, and the vibes are not bad, you dont need to. FSD will do it for you.

SpamSpam32822 2026-01-02 04:21

-Just a way to paragraph break -Sorry the hyphens make you feel weird --Have you ever considered that You might be the Bot since others that communicate in a diff way make you feel weird?
