OEM Tesla Model 3 Performance Winter Package

Boogalace | 2025-12-27 15:46 | 103 views

Just got the winter package! They don’t look the best, but it looks a lot better in person and has been growing on me. Unfortunately doesn’t come with Lug nut covers or anything so getting some from Amazon! Ask away!

Are you still running the Summers or do you have all seasons for the summer? How many days of snow do you get where you live?

svalmyrrh 2025-12-27 15:57

the model x wheel caps and covers fit this setup, i got them from tesla WHEEL CENTER CAP - ARMOR BLACK(6005879-04-A) LUG NUT COVER - BLACK(1023838-00-A)

I will run my summer in the spring/summer, I live in the DMV so it’s under 45° from about mid November to early march. We probably get snow around here 4-5 times a year, the plows aren’t very quick around me and I commute everyday about 55 mins to DC for work. The summer tires are hockey pucks with no grip in anything under 45°, so these will be safer and more responsive during these cold months. I also plan on keeping this car until the wheels fall off, so it will give me peace of mind knowing I can switch wheels depending on the climate! (Sorry for the book)

THANK YOU for this!!

Machineslave240 2025-12-27 16:21

What size are those wheels/tires, please? Also do you use pucks when you jack the car up to change them or do you take the car somewhere to have them changed for you? Thanks

CompetitiveSmell5592 2025-12-27 16:23

I live in the same area and commute to McLean - still have my summers and went through last winter. Those tires def sketch in the cold and not usable when it snows

Boogalace 2025-12-27 16:31

I did the same thing last winter, if you look at my first few posts I was driving on the snow with the summer tires last year and it was super sketchy. The peace of mind alone is worth the purchase

Boogalace 2025-12-27 16:34

19 inch rims with a staggered setup , 235/40R19 and 265/35R19 in the rear. To get them installed originally you purchase it in the Tesla shop and the installation fee is included in the price and they just throw the OEM warp wheels in the trunk/backseat. I have a car jack at home that can support the weight so when the season changes I will just throw on my summers!

Bakura_1993 2025-12-27 16:51

I would also get them if they were available here in Sweden. We only get to choose the Warp Wheels in additional winter package. My third party will definitely look better but just want to stick with OEM products as much as I can.

Carwashes or handwashes? Looks slick!

runningman-18 2025-12-27 17:02

I actually think they look decent just need some center caps

bjdraw 2025-12-27 17:09

It’ll be interesting to see how they work out for you on the warmer non-snowy days. I live in Denver and I’ve run winters my M3P the last five years, but I think when it’s time for another set, I’ll run all seasons in the winter instead. The winter tires just don’t last very long and don’t perform very well when there’s no snow on the ground.

y0Mark 2025-12-27 17:48

I like em. Once you get the center caps and cap covers, they’ll look good.

Armoredpolecat 2025-12-27 18:35

Why would you run all seasons in the summer on a performance model 😂

Armoredpolecat 2025-12-27 18:36

They should be functional and not wear too much up to 8 degrees Celsius. Giving you about 4/5 months in North Western Europe.

Boogalace 2025-12-27 18:48

Handwashed always! Also have full ceramic!

Boogalace 2025-12-27 18:49

As long as the ground temp is cold enough they shouldn’t wear too much.

Boogalace 2025-12-27 18:49

Agreed!

bjdraw 2025-12-27 19:02

All seasons in the winter and Summer performance the rest of the year, is what I intended to say.

bphase 2025-12-27 19:11

Interesting, they have 19 inch for Performance. Here in Finland they only seem to offer 20 for winter as well and you usually select them as an option while ordering. I got 18 squared setup from a 3rd party for my previous '22 M3P so just kept those for my '26. Happy with those as well since they were much cheaper and offset the winter range loss pretty nicely.

kWh_eater78 2025-12-27 19:16

What spoiler do you have??

Boogalace 2025-12-27 19:40

This is the standard spoiler that comes on the performance

kWh_eater78 2025-12-27 20:13

Gotcha it looked different in one of the pictures

AJHenderson 2025-12-28 05:50

You can also get lug covers and a center cap from Tesla. I believe it's a model x set that fits.

AJHenderson 2025-12-28 05:52

I'm on my second winter with these wheels after being one of the first people to get them and they work great. Not quite as good a studless ice and snow in snowy weather, but much still better that ice and snow all seasons and also do very well when it's dry and cold.

psvase 2025-12-28 11:48

Nice! In Europe, we have a winter tyre package option with OEM 20” Warp tires (altough many chooses to buy 19” set from elsewhere due increased comfort).

Seansong82 2025-12-28 14:05

Damn!! Looks good in real life and would look awesome on my Black M3PH, thanks for posting! My Warps need a break anyway ;-) Questions... Do you notice any difference when Launching with the 19" Wheels? It should be slightly quicker. Also, do they ride slightly more comfortable?

Boogalace 2025-12-28 14:16

Honestly I did 1 hard launch yesterday an they do feel a bit quicker, it may just be because of how well they can grip the road but it launches harder than my Warps do. And yes, at first I didn’t notice how much softer it felt but after about I drove my normal commute yesterday they felt much more forgiving on bumps

Seansong82 2025-12-28 14:18

Sold! Thanks for the info and enjoy your Sunday :-)

avebelle 2025-12-28 15:51

Oh I like that look. I don’t think you need lug nut covers. I do the bare look year round and I think it looks great.

deej628 2025-12-28 19:59

They look sick!

Logical_Sink_85 2026-01-06 08:36

Trying to find these in the parts catalog and having no luck. Any help? :) M3P 2024.

Logical_Sink_85 2026-01-06 08:37

Did you end up finding them?
