Tesla auto insurance was actually the cheapest for me when I got mine at 19. Ofc it’s based on your driving score but I was getting full coverage for over $100 less per month than minimum liability quotes. Which was wild but I’ve had it over 2 years now.

You had the opportunity to make more optimal choices in your life. I was in a similar position at 21, and I have some regrets regarding decisions made in my youth.

What’s that supposed to mean? 😭 OP could have millions of dollars in which case buying a Model 3 would be like buying a 98 Camry and it would be perfectly “optimal”. You’ll also never be 21 again in a Model 3 which is exactly why I got one at 24. Money comes and goes but you’ll never be 21 again with a Tesla.

This is true, you don't really know someone else's situation. Though I have to say, as someone now in their 50s, that in my wider circle of friends and family it becomes more and more clear with each passing year who learned about compound interest and took it to heart, and who had a roaring good time in their 20s.
