Vibrating Steering Wheel when parking

Why does the steering wheel vibrate on my '23 M3P when I put it in park? It doesn't happen always, but fairly often.

It's a common issue on the new gen model 3's. You would need to send it to Tesla to deal with it because it's the whole steering wheel column that has issues. It's like a 3-4 hour install for them but the problem is they would need to order one

Op has an OG M3P. Video? How much movement are we talking about?

Does it vibrate when you change to easy entry?

Is the heaters going. My slightly vibrates when that’s on.

Like it does when it gives a lane excursion warning

No

Hmm... That could be it. I need to be more observant to verify.

u/pummisher nailed it. I wasn't putting 2+2 together. I didn't realize that the steering wheel was vibrating when the car changed to easy entry. Thanks everyone.

Mine does this. I don't know if it's a big deal but for now I set the steering to stay extended but will move up and down. I think it's at least a lubrication issue and may lead to a steering column repair.
