Christmas update twice

Same exact release or a point update? 25.1 is buggy and 25.3 is going wide.

Not the same update. The first one will have ended with a .1 and today’s would’ve been either .3 or .5 at the end. I got 2025.44.25.1 on Friday, then 2025.44.25.3 this morning. It will just be bug fixes.

25.3, it’s showing all the sane Christmas features I picked up last week. 🤷

Do these updates just download or can we force an update? And is it over the wifi from my router or the car's cellular connection? Where I live, the cell service is pretty weak.

You might want to delay installing any updates. Last friday I updated our 2022 M3 to 2025.44.25.1. Since then incompatible drive system software error and vehicle doesn't charge. Tesla service pushed the same update again with no change, just installed 2025.44.25.3 but doesn't look like it's fixed.

Just installed 2025.44.25.5. It's the only 2025.44.x.x I have received (never received the earlier versions). 2024 M3 LFP in central FL.

It adds 2 things, now in charge you have the option to sahre statistics and in wash mode there are new things

Same, except my 2020 MYP was working fine after the first holiday update (2025.44.25.1), and I got the error message only after the second holiday update installed (2025.44.25.3). I had Tesla service push the .3 update update again thinking maybe it was corrupted, but the error message is still there after installing it. I'm considering asking them to push me back to .1 if they are able.

Where are you located? I'm north of Toronto and there was someone from up north with same issue. So you might be the third person I know with this issue.

I'm in Rochester NY. Update: I'm totally confused now. After several days of daily commuting (15min drive w/scheduled preconditioning, 15-25°F ambient) with the error on consistently, I took a 30min drive yesterday and since then the error now only pops intermittently and even then only for a few seconds on startup then goes away. On top of that, I've got some confounding variables, so take it with a grain of salt. A few days prior to the infamous update, I started consistently seeing a DIF_a### drive unit oil pump error code that limits my speed. The two errors didn't start at the same time, but they both went away at the same time once the car had thoroughly warmed up I'm that 30min drive. (This morning was also the first time in a while its been above freezing, not sure if that's coincidental or indicative.)

Did you have any issues with the heat pump? We had to get a new heat pump this February... out of warranty. It was really suspicious as it started making different noises and rev up randomly after an update and then failed.

Not that I know of. I have a service appt set for this upcoming Monday for the oil pump code. That will supposedly be covered under the drive unit warranty, assuming that's the actual failed part. Bummer about the heat pump on yours. No overly suspicious behavior like that on mine for now.

Premium connectivity does not download updates.

I done the update yesterday to 2025.44.25.3 and my cabin control no longer produces heat. Has anyone else had this issue?

I installed the same update 2 days ago. Today I've had multiple errors including: Dashcam Unavailable, Adaptive Headlight Features Unavailable, Autopilot Cameras Limited (and Unavailable). Currently downloading .3 hoping that fixes them...
