Sweet! Very nice. Do you plan on getting any PPF or ceramic coating?

Johnnyg-63-atYourMom 2025-12-13 14:45

It is, I have mine since June 2024 and I’m still a little sad when every single ride is over.

The comment by SUBW00FER is subjective and is one person’s opinion based on how they view their own vehicle (ie. Hold the vehicle long-term or flip it every couple of years). I agree that the Tesla brand at least at the Model 3 trim level is not an exotic vehicle. If you like to keep your vehicle looking pristine and not pock-marked by rocks, etc., then PPF should be a consideration. If these things don’t bother you then don’t get PPF, or go the route of DIY PPF. Ceramic coating will help keep the car’s paint looking good without having to wax it every 3 months or so. It will also help with minimizing swirls marks from washing and drying, especially on a dark color like yours. Good luck! EDIT: I bought a new to me 2021 M3P last year and it was in excellent condition. I had PPF professionally installed and 5 year Modesta ceramic coating. This is a vehicle I plan on keeping for awhile and keeping it looking good are important to me.

Collected from Brent Cross? That car park looks familiar!

An expensive 3-5 year ceramic coating is only worth the expenditure if you're going to then proceed to wash the car yourself using the correct products and methods or use a trusted hand car to wash it for you. If you're taking it to any local quick £10 hand car wash - the brutal chemicals they spray all over your car and the grit filled wash mitts and drying cloths \[most\] of them use will undo your ceramic coating pretty quickly / your car will end up with scratches anyway. Probably better off spending the money for Stage 1 polish from a local detailer every 12-24mths instead for a spruce up.

Yes!

Is your Tesla badge blacked out or is it just the light?

TruffleMaestro 2025-12-13 20:44

It's black

meds_76 2025-12-13 21:34

Congratulations! Mine isn't due until 14 Feb - 14 Mar 🙄

NPS989 2025-12-13 21:39

The stealth greys come with black badges, or at least mine did. Think other colours might as well but I’m not certain.
