Congrats! You’re gonna love it! I’ll be honest. These deals make it difficult not to want to trade in for a newer model. I bought a used 2018 M3 LR almost 4 years ago, that came with all the options, self-driving, premium audio, all of that. My mom has a newer MY, and it’s got a lot of cool things that I don’t have, but she’s also missing things like radar and premium sound (went for cheaper options). Add to that that I’ve grown so attached to Deku (the name of my M3) that I can’t really see myself giving it up.
Hahahah no worries, it just boggles my mind how people are still buying Buicks, Chevy Malibus, and fords fiestas while you can get a Tesla for about the same price

I’m happy for you! I’m considering buying a gas car for my kids. My son thinks it’s better for new drivers. I’m having a hard time temporarily “downgrading” from my MY to gas, as I want to drive it until they’re ready just to be certain all is in order.

I traded my 2019 for a 2025 and miss the radar a lot. Knowing how many inches you are away when parking was so nice.
Lots of Buick jokes but for real my MIL's mint supercharged Park Avenue was hit and she's struggled to find a sedan that can compare. Find me another air ride couch bench seat cruiser. A Model S might be close but they're not EV people and it wouldn't be ideal for their situation.
The wife said I can get one if it's around that monthly price so I may do it. I think that's for the rwd which is what I want anyways. My boss said he'd pay the one time fee for the self driving so I just need to pick out a color. I like the white but a friend just got a white one so I want different. It was $1500 down?

I came from a 2006 Buick Lucerne, to a 2012 Buick regal, to a 2018 model 3 performance. Definitely a nice upgrade but I can’t hate on the Buicks too much. They were comfortable and reliable cars. I liked them. Got the Lucerne as a first car gift from my grandparents. Definitely received the “grandma car” comments and they were valid. I got the regal in college because I liked the Lucerne so much I wanted to stick to Buick. Knew long term I wanted a Tesla but couldn’t afford it yet still being in college. Sad to see what Buick has become today, all SUVs. At least they’ve somewhat gotten away from the grandma car stereotype. Not completely though.
