Got my new model3!

Fancy-Catch83 | 2025-12-11 05:45 | 194 views

I leased a new model3 two weeks ago and just picked it up yesterday, I took advantage of the year-end promotion and got the quicksilver color free update, plus I chose the 19-inch wheel, it looks great! Definitely a choice I won’t regret. The monthly payment is around $350, tax included. By the way, I’m located in the Bay Area, right next to the Fremont factory, but Tesla still charged me a $1390 destination fee, this part doesn’t feel great.

Congrats! Welcome to the club. I picked up my car from there as well :) As far as the destination goes, from what I understand, the fee is spread across all cars as sort of an average. Meaning there are some customers where the delivery charge is more than $1,390 and some less. We just happen to get the short end of the stick on this. Whatever.

Best color + wheel combo imo

I got the base color n wheels. Base wheels are good for extra range but man I like these rims n wish I would have gotten these instead

I think the Quicksilver looks best with silver wheels and black interior. Congrats and enjoy!

Congrats! Beware of curbs with those rims, new tesla owners have a habit of scraping up the rims in the first month or so. (I did)

How much did you have to put down for your payment to be $350 per month out the door? Thanks

Fancy-Catch83 2025-12-11 22:14

$1500 down payment

Fancy-Catch83 2025-12-11 22:14

100% agree!

Fancy-Catch83 2025-12-11 22:19

Thanks for reminding me, is it caused by FSD or just yourself?😅

YouKidsGetOffMyYard 2025-12-11 23:36

Just you, Tesla's seem wider somehow. FSD hasn't done that to me yet anyways. Good luck!

Something about the 20 inch warp wheels on the quicksilver speaks to me! Don’t mind this combo though

So your total due at delivery was $2890 correct?

Fancy-Catch83 2025-12-15 03:55

No, more than that, it's 3750, which includes tax and other non-Tesla fees like registration, license, etc.
