I actually like that idea a lot. I was even thinking of adding some red to the Tesla logo on the center wheel caps, and possibly finding a red spoiler to give it some red accents.

I considered it, but I’m a little torn on that. Still I’d have to see what it looks like on another gray Tesla.

I think the chrome delete goes along with black wheels. To me, that’s what stands out.

Maybe because you are comparing to a performance which sits a little lower, has red calipers, spoiler etc ?

Spoiler and an air freshener so you can find the car in a parking lot when you inevitably end up parked next to three other model 3 in the same color.

Just got rid of my Jetta GLI for a tesla. Yeah miss the all the two toned paint. Black roof, dark grey car, red breaks, red lines on the front. While the tesla is better it's pretty boring to look at.

With the rims, chrome would have looked solid. I have the same trim as OP though, and I think it’s one of the sleekest combos in the lineup.

It'll be looking like Darth Vader before you know it.

My tint is probably less than half as dark and I had to turn off the auto dimming side view mirrors because the combination of the two made other cars invisible in overcast/twilight conditions unless they had their headlights on. I can’t imagine 50% on the car, much less the windshield.

Unfortunately the grey just makes the car look bland. No fault of Tesla’s, it would make a Bugatti bland. I wouldn’t go out trying to fix it with cheap-looking aftermarket crap. Appreciate the car for what it is, the best commuter in the world. If you want a model 3 that even remotely stands out, buy a performance in red or quicksilver. That’s really your only option without aftermarket work.

The version with ludicrous mode 🤣🤣 , the spoiler, lip, rear diffuser, rims. lower stance and wider/larger tires make it look nicer in pretty much ANY color.

Mine is identical, colour, rims, tint. And I often wonder the same. Definitely needs lowering - but I won’t get away with that and not having warranty problems where I live. Been toying with the idea or adding a spoiler in matte black to try match the accent colours. I went off the idea of mud flaps after seeing how much shit gets caught up in them and I don’t see much rain.

I have the same car as yours and I felt the same way. I added a spoiler, tint, and new set of 19 inch wheels from TSportline. I think I’m good for now lol especially when I’m planning on buying a Model Y Performance in the next three years.
